I Lost

The museum was getting cleared because of the fire. Elijah also had to move out.

Adi waited for him outside and saw Elijah walking brokenhearted with a bag in hand and the gem on the other. He came near Adi and said "I found it."

Adi saw the bag and understood what happened "Mrs Sm....."

"Ari!....Her name is Ari."

Adi understood the seriousness of this situation.

BACK AT THE DOOR...

I couldn't get anything to open the door.....Zoa said "Fast"

"ha!!!"

"he has very less time. Do it!!!fast!!!"

I couldn't think of anything but then.... I thought I am an Alien and this door is nothing infront of my superpower.

"Leo, stand back."

I punched the door and broke it open. It fell down on the other side.

I saw the room fill with smoke.

A piece of big rock from the entrance fell down right near my leg.

I jumped back to prevent it falling from me.

Now the fire was infront of me and Leo behind it. I jumped through the fire. I now reached Leo who was barely breathing and as soon as I supported him he fell unconscious.

I was about to pick him when I saw the naked wire completely wet in water.

Now I picked him up and jumped the same way I went in. I took him to a safe place.

I saw his face was burning hot because of the heat from the fire and his face was covered with black patches from the ashes of the fire.

He was calm but barely breathing. I took him out.

That is when Elijah and I saw each other again. After seeing me with his brother now he felt more sad of me.

I put Leo on the ground. I didn't notice but Elijah had wet eyes and looking at me angrily but sadly.

ELIJAH'S VIEW....

I was standing with my heart broken into thousands of pieces seeing 'My girlfriend' coming out with my brother. She lied to me. She didn't even say a word even when the doctor said about me not sleeping the whole night because of this gem.

Now that I think, she always liked Leo. She even proved it today. Risking her life for Leo. I... don't know what to do. Did she like Leo so much?

ARI'S VIEW...

I thought I lost my life seeing Leo lyimg on the floor almost lifeless. He is the first one who actually talked to me for so long.

I saw he was barely breathing.....I didn't even think for a second and placed my lips over his and held his nose giving mouth to mouth respiration. Thank god I got used to this male hormones because now that Elijah don't effect me at all it was important to get used to those hormones.

I heard the crowd gossiping but didn't care because right now, Leo was more important.

ELIJAH'S VIEW....

I didn't imagine she will do that. I hate to see her kissing someone else. I know it's not a kiss but I don't know why it felt like this. I felt a sharp pain right here, here in my heart.

The point was why? I didn't like her. She and I are just tied to some kind of a contract. Nothing more. But why do I want more? I am feeling like this even after she stole the gem showing how selfish she is.

She knew the importance of this gem to me but still went checked it out and stole it.

ARI'S VIEW....

I was so happy when I saw Leo open his eyes a little by little. I was very close to him. He saw me giving the mouth to mouth.

He placed his hands on my neck and pulled me. I kissed him or more of forced to kiss him.

I couldn't believe he could do that. From just a first aid this mouth to mouth became a kiss in no time.

Everyone standing there kept gossiping.

I broke the kiss and asked him "You good?"

"mhmmm"

I heard a cold voice from behind me "Ari follow me." It was Elijah. I got up on my leg and went behind Elijah.

Elijah took me to a silent place. I thought it was about the kiss. So, before he could say anything I explained "See that kiss was initiated by Leo and remember I broke it."

"Yes... You can break anything very easily."

"what?"

He now returned me my bag. I took it without any problem. He then turned his back on me and asked "Is everything in there?"

I knew that I took a bag at random so, I searched it carelessly and said "yup.....thank you for holding it though."

I was about to close my bag I saw his hands with the remote on it.

"Are you sure?"

I couldn't be less shocked "W...w..where did...you find it?"

"How shameless of you to even agree that you stole it." He gave a laughter saying that.

"I...I..." I didn't know what to say. suddenly I was less of words. I didn't know what to add after I.

Now he breathed heavily and turned behind and pinned me to a tree. He was very aggressive. He held my hand tightly hurting me. I tried to move but it was impossible.

"Why....Why...Why!!!!! you could have told me about your requirement of jewels, I would have given it to you. But why did you do it."

I stayed silent. Not because I didn't know what to say but because it was wise.

He now said very easily to me "You are fired and the contract between us is breached."

I can't believe he said that so, easily.

ELIJAH'S VIEW....

I can't believe she could lie so much with a straight face. I asked her if something was missing she said no.

I know I hurt her when I pinned her to the wall but I was not in my mind.

She stayed silent when I asked why. Was it because of guilt? I don't know but I will never let her walk to my life and devastate it like this.

The most difficult words came out of my mouth. It might have seemed easy to Ari but it were the toughest.

I saw her walk away. I took the gem back from her. As she walked away it felt my heart broke and broke in more and more pieces.

ARI'S VIEW.....

I walked away without saying anything. Zoa was not around that time. My mouth were sealed and I walked with teary eyes.

My eyes clearly stated I lost.

I lost the job, I lost the way to go home, I lost.....Elijah.

I lost everything just because of some simple white lie. It was indeed a white lie for me but black lie for everyone.

Finally I lost.
