First Meet

Meng and Dao continued to have a staring game, it felt like time had stopped until Dao spoke. "What are you doing?" Dao blushed and it made Meng quickly get out of bed.

"My foot slipped, I must go now" Meng hurriedly took his bag and walked to the door.

"Wait for me" Dao put the glass on the table and followed Meng to college.

"Why do you keep on following me?" Meng feels irritated.

"I'm not following you, this is also my college" Dao replied.

"I already give you the tag and also received your apology, so we don't have anything to do with each other anymore, stop following me" Meng walked away and went to the meeting location.

For Meng, they had nothing to do with each other, but for Dao that's not the case, he still hadn't talked to him about the kidnapping case from before.

During his last year of middle school, Dao was kidnapped by two of his father's employees, because they were fired so they took revenge on Dao who was the son of their boss.

At that time, another student was abducted along with Dao, a High school student who tried to save Dao but also ends up being kidnapped along with him.

This high school student is Meng, he was around when the kidnapper tried to kidnap Dao.

When Meng woke up, he found out they were being locked in a room, Dao still didn't wake up, their phones were taken by the kidnapper, and he heard people talking in the next room.

"Why did you bring the other kid too?" The kidnapper talked to his partner in crime.

"You saw it yourself, he tried to take that boy with him, I have no choice to take him too".

Back in the room where Meng and Dao got locked in "Where is this?" Dao just woke up and looked confused.

"Are you awake?" Are you feeling okay?"

Asked Meng while trying to help Dao get up.

"I'm fine, where is this?" Dao looked around.

"We were kidnapped, I'm not sure where we are, our phone is not with us either" Meng explained the situation.

"Why do you help me? We don't even know each other" Dao looked at Meng.

"Isn't it normal to help people in trouble?" Meng looked around the room to look for something useful to escape.

"What a strange guy" Dao smiled.

"If you have time to talk, you should help me find something that can help us get out of this place".

Both of them searched the entire room but they found nothing so they ended up sitting on the floor with their backs on the wall.

"By the way, I don't know your name yet, my name is-" while Meng spoke, the door opened and the kidnapper entered.

"I thought I heard a voice, so you guys are awake now" He walked towards Meng and Dao.

"What do you want?" Meng glared at the kidnapper and stand in front of Dao.

"I don't want anything from you, I just want something from his father" the kidnapper pointed to Dao and dragged him out of the room.

Meng tried to fight him, but he was kicked in the stomach and fell on the floor.

Meng being left alone in the room, he did not know what was happening outside, he waited for an hour... two hours... three hours... hours... and finally someone opened the door.

"Are you alright? quick take him to the ambulance" The police have come and saved him, but he didn't see Dao at anywhere.

"Where is he?" Meng asked the police in a small voice.

"He already being saved, he was the one who told us that you were here" the police helped him into the ambulance.

After that incident, Meng looked for Dao everywhere but he could not find him, because Dao had moved to another school and no one knew his whereabouts.

In present, All the mentors have gathered in the auditorium, "Is everyone here?" Xin asking the crowd and Meng just coming in.

"Sorry I'm late", everyone in the auditorium was looking at him.

"It's okay, we've just started the meeting" Xin replied.

Meng quickly walked to beside Zhao. Xin started a briefing for tomorrow's activities, "It's not like you to be late Meng" Zhao whispered to Meng.

"Don't talk about it, it's because of that idiot freshman" Meng took out his book to take notes while Zhao grinned at Meng.

"Do you have feelings for him?" Asked Zhao.

"Are you crazy?" Meng stood up and shouted at him.

"Yes you're crazy for suddenly shouting like that" Xin answered him.

Meng was embarrassed and sat back on his chair, Zhao laughed beside him, Meng blushed and kept thinking about what had happened in his dorm this morning.

The meeting was over and everyone left the auditorium, Xin walked to Meng to check his condition, "Are you alright now? How is your fever?" Asked Xin.

"Yes, I'm fine now and sorry for shouting earlier" Meng smiled at Xin.

"It's okay, let's have lunch, it's on me" Xin patted Meng on the head, Meng pushed his hand away.

"Hey Xin, don't pat me like that, people will misunderstand us" Meng looked around.

"There is no one here, I will go get my bag, wait for me here" Xin walked to backstage and Meng packed his stuff.

"Are you done?" Someone asked Meng.

"Yes, let's go" Meng looked up and looked surprised because it is Dao who is in front of him, not Xin.

"Why are you here? you haven't gone home yet?" Asked Meng.

"I'm waiting for you, let's have lunch together" Dao invited Meng to lunch.

"No, I have a plan" Meng turn down the invitation.

"You just said it is done, so you don't have any plan now, let's go" Dao drags Meng again, this guy really likes to drag people around.

"Let's go Meng... where is he?" Xin returned and found no one in the auditorium.

Dao dragged Meng to his car and opened the door for him, "get in" Dao asked Meng to get it the car.

"No, I'm going back" Meng walked past Dao but Dao pulled his hand and pushed him into the car.

Dao walked to the other side of the car and sat in the driver's seat, "Put on your seat belt" Dao asked.

"I'm getting out.." Meng tried to run away but Dao held his hand and helping Meng put on his seat belt.

"You're not getting away from me. Dao locked the door and started driving.

"Where are you taking me to?" Meng asked.

"I'm hungry let's grab some food before we watch a movie" Dao replied.

"Movie? When did I agree to watch a movie with you, and I have a part-time job, I'm not going with you" Meng looked at Dao seriously.

But Dao didn't care about that, he took Meng to have lunch with him in a Chinese restaurant, Dao ordered a whole table of food.

"Are you sure we will finish all of this?" Meng's eyes turned so wide because of all these foods.

"Don't worry, we can finish everything, try this, it is good" Dao grab a meatball and place it on Meng's plate, it is the most popular food in this restaurant and it is Dao's favorite food.

Meng tries to taste it, it is true, it is really delicious, it made Meng smile when he ate it, "You look really cute when you smile" Dao looked at Meng with his smile.

"What are you talking about, eat it" Meng grab another meatball and place it on Dao's plate, He smiled and ate it.

Meng keeps on drinking water because his throat started to felt dry and itchy. His face began to look pale.

Dao realize and asked him "are you okay? Why does your face look pale and you keep drinking water?".

"What meat is this meatball made from?" Asked Meng while keep fanning himself using his shirt and on the other hand he grabs his glass and drinks the water.

"It's the prawn, why?" Dao looked confused.

"Prawn?! I'm allergic to prawn" Meng started to feel weak and hard to breathe.

"Why didn't you tell me you have allergy?" Dao looks flustered, he quickly stands up and asks the waiter for the bill.

"Let me help you, let's go to the hospital" Dao helped Meng to get up and bring him to the car, he quickly brings him to the hospital.

At the hospital, Dao brings Meng to emergency because he passed out on the way to the hospital.

Dao explains to the nurse about what happened to Meng, the doctor and nurse are treating Meng.

Dao is waiting outside since only the patient, doctor and nurse can be inside the emergency, Dao keeps on waiting on the bench with his head down.

"Dao?" Someone called Dao, Dao lifts his head up, it's Xin and Luo.

"Xin mentor and Luo?" Dao looked at both of them.

"What are you doing here?" Xin asked.

"Meng is passed out after eating prawn, I don't know he has an allergy" Dao explained to Meng.

"Yes he has an allergic for prawn, he should have told you, so how is he?" Asked Xin while sitting on the bench with Luo.

"I don't know yet, the doctor still checking on him" Dao looking at the emergency room.

"By the way, how come you two are together at here?" Asked Dao looking suspiciously at them
