Chapter 23 : Script reading.

Third person point of view

Junkyu woke up in the morning to find a message from Jihoon saying he cannot come to work. Junkyu was confused and immediately called him. Jihoon rarely took leaves and he would definitely let him know in advance. Seeing it was so sudden, Junkyu had a bad feeling. " Hello ". " Jihoon-ah, what is it ? Did something happen ? Are you not well ? "

Junkyu asked worried something might've gone wrong. " Nothing serious. Also not me, I am fine. Hyunsuk hyung is not well. So I have to stay and take care of him. Do you mind going by yourself for today ? " Junkyu was even more worried now. " Why ? What happened ? How is he ? " He bombarded Jihoon with questions. Jihoon sighed.

" I just saw that he was not at all fine yesterday night. He kept saying it was nothing when I asked in the morning itself, but it wasn't the case. He did have a little fever and by night it went up and was actually high. I immediately gave him some tablets and stayed up all night to make sure it doesn't get worse. I am still right beside him ".

" He should take better care. What is this ? How can he be so negligent about his own health ? " Junkyu complained. " That is what I also keep telling him. He is too stubborn sometimes ". Jihoon said. Junkyu sighed. " Fine, fine. Take care of him. If there is anything serious or urgent call me immediately. Don't worry about me. I will manage things by myself ".

" Thank you ". " Aye~~ What are you saying ? Take care. Make sure he takes the medication and gets enough rest too. And you don't neglect your meals in this time. Eat properly. Got it ? " " I will ". " Good. I will hang up then. Call me if there is anything without hesitating ". " Alright. Be careful ". " Okay. Bye ". Junkyu hung up and went to get ready for the day.

He finished dressing up and went to have breakfast. He saw Haruto was having it already. He sat down and smiled at Haruto. " Morning ". Haruto said when Junkyu sat down. " Good morning ". Junkyu replied with a sweet smile. Haruto didn't know why but it felt like Junkyu was smiling a little too much.

He narrowed his eyes a little, suspicious of the smile. If there was anything, Junkyu will tell him anyway. So he continued to eat his food. " Umm.... I have something to ask ". Junkyu said looking at Haruto just like he predicted. " What is it ? " Haruto asked glancing at Junkyu. " Actually something came up and Jihoon will not be able to come today ".

" Okay. So ? " " I have no other option to go to work..... " Junkyu was speaking hesitantly. Haruto smiled and gave his full attention to Junkyu. " I got it. You want to drive ? " Junkyu chuckled and rubbed his neck. Haruto looked down trying not to laugh and cleared his throat. " Okay. But you don't mind the car right ? "

Junkyu nodded. " I don't have an option ". Haruto nodded. He turned to the side and a servant came up to him. " Arrange a car and driver right away. He should go along wherever Junkyu goes ". The servant bowed and left. " Thank you so much ". " Not an issue ". Haruto finished his breakfast and got up.

" I will get going. The driver will be available till you come back home. Do you want an assistant too ? " " No, it is fine. I will just ask the driver to come along. It will be fine right ? " " Yeah. As you wish ". " Thanks again ". " You don't need to say it so many times ". Haruto patted Junkyu's head. " Bye. Be careful ".

Haruto smiled and walked away. Junkyu pouted a little and continued eating. His ears turned red. He cleared his throat. He finished his breakfast. He walked out and immediately a man in a suit walked up to him. " Good morning sir. I am Lee Sang Ho and I will be your assistant for the time being ". Junkyu smiled.

" Thank you. Shall we go ? " He nodded and opened the door for him. Junkyu felt a little awkward not used to this kind of treatment. " Sir, where should I be taking you ? " Junkyu gave the address. He entered it in the GPS and started driving. " Sir, do you want anything to drink or eat ? " " No. It is fine ". " Okay sir ".

He drove out of there. They soon reached the building. Sang Ho drove into the parking lot. He found a spot and parked there. " We are here sir ". He said glancing at Junkyu. " Umm... I am sorry but do you mind if I ask you something ? " Junkyu asked in a small voice. Sang Ho turned to look at Junkyu.

" You can ask me anything sir. Please don't hesitate ". Junkyu rubbed his neck. " The thing is... it would feel a little overwhelming... so do you mind wearing only the shirt and pant without the coat ? " Sang Ho smiled. " Sure sir ". He did so and put it away. Meanwhile, Junkyu looked at his phone and he was on time.

He then picked up his things. Sang Ho was already done, so he quickly got out of the car and opened the door for Junkyu. Junkyu chuckled. Jeongwoo saw Junkyu with someone else instead of Jihoon and also in a new car. He didn't get out of his car and watched as Junkyu walked away with the new guy.

He knitted his eyebrows and got out of the car after they were out of his sight. Junkyu walked with Sang Ho to the hall they were having the meeting in. Junkyu greeted everyone in the room. " Where should I be ? " Sang Ho asked. " You can sit there ". Sang Ho nodded. " Then please call me if there is anything you want sir ".

Junkyu frowned. " Don't call me sir. If you are younger than me just call me hyung. If I am younger call me by my name. I'd prefer that ". Sang Ho nodded. " Okay... hyung ". Junkyu smiled. He sat down in his place and Sang Ho sat down to the side. All of them arrived. They were all having a nice time and were getting their work done too.
