Second Meet

Wei Government and Administration Center, the West Wing of Shuijing Castle.

Six years passed after Jayden ran away from the Palace. Now Jayden was 15 years old, and Renny was 11 years old.

In the part of Shuijing Castle which was very crowded and buzzing, called the West Wing. In part of the Shuijing castle where the prime minister, ministers, and other government employees worked every morning for the usual meeting with the King. This was the place where Renny's father worked as the Royal admin staff too.

Jayden sat behind his father's seat to watch the meeting. He learned how the government answered every problem the country had every morning. From inbound problems such as economy, society, and culture, to the outbound relationship with the world.

A black jaguar slept under The King's seat, bored with the routine. Jayden looked the same as the jaguar. He could answer all the problems if the King allowed him to do. But, his father only told him just to listen and learn. Jayden wanted to get out of the room and ride his horse better than just staying here like a fool.

After the meeting was over, it was already afternoon. The buzzing at the government office was gone, they already went home. Today's meeting took a lot of time because there was a disaster in South Wei due to the bad climate change. A Typhoon swept the entire village just in a night.

Jayden with his aides walked from the meeting room to his palace. But, on the way there, a sound was heard and got his attention.

"Renny, don't run!!" Andre ordered his daughter. He didn't want Renny to fall or get hurt. Her daughter was still acting like a baby girl even though she was eleven years old this month.

"I want to play with Alex, Daddy, I hope he doesn't go home yet." Renny looked back at her father, but her feet were still running.

BUMP!!

"Ouch!!" Renny fell because she would hit someone's hard chest. But she was the one who fell because her tiny body could not win against a strong arm.

"Hey!!! Who told you to run inside the palace corridors?!" shouted an aide who guarded the man.

Andre's face turned pale when he realized who the man was. Her daughter almost bumped into The Crown Prince.

"You almost bumped into the Crown Prince. Do you realize that you have made a big mistake!!" snapped another aide. He was the one who fend off Renny's body when she was about to hit the Crown Prince.

"I'm sorry, Your Highness. Please, forgive my daughter, Prince." Andre rushed to his knees in front of the Prince. Bowing his head to the ground, hoping that Jayden would not punish his daughter's mistake.

"Renny come here...!" Andre pulled Renny's hand so the girl could do the same as him to apologize to the prince.

"Who did you say?" Jayden flinched when he heard her name. Even now, after six years passed, he still remembered her name, remembering that beautiful name.

"My daughter Renny is still a kid, and she doesn't know how to behave yet, please forgive my inability to educate her. I promise this will not happen again, please forgive her this time, Your Majesty." Andre dragged Renny's body to kneel in front of the Prince.

"What's your name, sir?" Jayden asked him.

"My name is Andre, Andre Asteria."

Thump... Jayden's heartbeat started to pound fast when he heard his family's name.

Yes, Jayden was very happy to hear that name. He had long remembered it. Jay had been looking for the owner of the name for a long time.

Looking for the little girl who owned that beautiful name.

Looking for the little girl who proposed to him in the middle of the street.

Looking for the little girl who gave him a bar of chocolate and a wedding vow.

"So, your name is Renny Asteria?" Jayden asked with a smile.

"Yes, Your Higness, my name is Renny Asteria. Forgive me." Renny fell down and almost cried. She was very afraid of the punishment that would be given to her for almost bumping into a Prince. Jayden smiled when he heard Renny's trembling voice.

"You guys wake up."

"Your compassion is incomparable, Prince." Andre got up, then helped Renny to get up too. Jayden replaced Andre's hand with his, so he helped Renny to get up.

"Too bad I still have a lot of lessons today so I can't meet you, Renny." Jayden sighed, he hold her hand so tightly and made Renny feel awkward.

"Eee...." Renny was confused answering Jayden because Prince's glance didn't move from hers.

"I will make sure to keep my promise to you, My Lady." Jayden shook Renny's hand and kissed the back of her hand.

Renny flinched, her body trembling when the light vibes ran through her veins. Did the Prince just kiss the back of her hand??

"Let's go." Jayden ushered his aides and servants away.

"You know Prince Jayden?" Andre stuttered, Jayden was well known as a cold and fierce prince. How could a highness like him, bend down his head to kiss Renny's hand?

"No." Renny shook her head. She felt doesn't know Jayden before. And as an eleven years old girl, she never thinks about love.

"Wow!!! He is very handsome and charismatic. This is the first time Daddy has seen the Crown Prince in person even though Daddy work in here," praised Andre while looking at Jayden's back.

"Come on daddy let's go," asked Renny pulling his father's sleeves. She couldn't wait to meet Alex and play. Yes, only playing was on her mind, not love.

Jayden stole a few glances before walking away. He smiled seeing Renny's face beaming with happiness.

"You have grown very beautiful, My lady." thought Jayden happily.
