108. Attack on Tetherby industries part 1

Zoya leaped back as she avoided a punch from Golden Tiger. Her arms turn to steel as she blocked a follow-up punch from the tiger man causing her slide back but stayed on her feet though she stumbled a little.

"You're unbalanced." Tiger growled. "Your legs are too close together giving you an unsteady base. Also keep your arms up. Always be ready for the next attack."

"Right." Zoya said as she moved her legs further apart and raised her arms up. "But will it matter though? There are gonna be people strong than me. Like you and uncle Squatch."

"It'll lower chance of injury. Besides once you get better control of your power that won't matter." Tiger told her. "Until then this will lower chances of injury." Zoya looked at her metal hand and turns it into a fist.

"Got it." Zoya said getting her arms up. "Let's go again." Tiger smirks and gets into a fighting stance.

"I like your attitude kid." He says.

"That's enough." The two turn to see Johnny leaning against the wall of their hideout. "We wouldn't want nobody getting too hurt now before the big plan. Besides Tiger I think the kid was getting ready to kick your ass." Tiger let out a chuckle.

"Probably." Tiger said draping an arm across her shoulder. "Kid has a lot of potential."

"Uncle Phantom back yet?" Zoya asked.

"He should be back soon." Johnny said. "He had to get something as he put from his 'fellow countrymen'."

"Virus and Squatch still getting the boys ready?" Tiger asked.

"Preparing the troops as we speak." Johnny said. "Willy is getting some of the drug from his shop."

"And uncle Nuke?" Zoya asked.

"Right here Shorty." Nuke said stepping outside. "Phantom just got back." He steps back inside with the other three following. When they get inside they see Phantom sitting on the couch holding what looked like a long wooden stick with a metal knob at the end of it.

"Zoya lass." Phantom said as he admired the item in hand. "Come here and learn some Irish history." Zoya walks up and sits next to him where he shows her the item. "This here lass is called a Shillelagh."

"A Shillelagh?" Zoya repeated.

"Indeed lass. It's an old Irish weapon that the Irishman of old used to settle disputes in a 'gentlemanly' manner." Phantom explained. "Most use them as tools and canes these days. But lads like me prefer the old ways. Now I lost my old Shillelagh when I fled Ireland years ago. But my fellow countrymen have gifted me with a brand new one. A better one. One that's indestructible. Perfect for what we're about to do."

"Cool." Zoys said as she touched the weapon.

"Cool indeed lass." Phantom said.

"Now if you're all ready, Virus just called. They're all set to go." Johnny says.

"And I get to come too right?" Zoya asked excitedly.

"Of course." Johnny said with a laugh. "The best way to learn is through experience." He looks at his crew. "Let's go. Virus and Squatch are gonna meet us there. Time to pay an old friend a visit."

Meanwhile at Tetherby industries, Tetherby is looking out the window as he was on phone. "So tell me Stuart what's the status on our latest invention?" Tetherby asked.

"We're currently going to commencing the testing trials." Stuart replied. "Once it's safe for humans we're go through it."

"It needs to be done as soon as possible." Tetherby said.

"We should be ready in a couple days sir." Stuart assured him. "Then we'll commence the plan."

"Excellent." Tetherby said before hanging up. There's a knock at his door. "Enter." The door opens to reveal Xander, Pike and Helios. "Any news?"

"None mate." Xander reported. "Everything is secure. No incidents since Pike's confrontation with Replicate and Quill."

"Next time I see those bastards they're dead!" Pike growled.

"I still don't get long division." Helios said. Everyone looks at her. "What? He asked for news and I gave him news. I literally don't get long division and uncle Xander can't help me because he doesn't get it either."

"She's not wrong there." Xander said. "However long division is the least of our problems. What about my little trophy and her little team?"

"Yeah what if they ruin everything?" Pike added.

"Rest assured everything will be revealed soon." Tetherby promised. They then hear a loud explosion from downstairs. "What was that?" His phone goes off again.

"Sir! The Terror Crew are attacking!" A guard said. "And they brought an army with them!" Tetherby hangs up and turns to the three people in front of him.

"Deal with them." Tetherby ordered.

"With pleasure." Xander said before the three walked out of the office and split up.

Outside of the building Squatch runs up to the front door with a car in his hands and threw it at the front door, but when he's about to enter the front door h gets shot knocking him down. Squatch gets back up and sees a twinkle coming from the upper levels of the building.

"We got a sniper!" Squatch shouted.

"Must be the hunter." Nuke said flying up to window where he comes face to face with Xander holding a rifle. "So you're the legendary Xander Marxly."

"And you're the infamous Terror Crew." Xander said aiming his rifle at Nuke. "You know you need an appointment to come here mate."

"Yeah but the waiting time on those are so annoyed." Nuke said before raising his hand which started to glow. "So we're doing a walk-in." He then fires a beam at Xander forcing him to leave the room. His comms then go off. "What is it?"

"Uncle Xander! They got into the building!" Helios told him. "Security is holding some of them off but a bunch got past them and are making their way through the building!"

"Stay calm luv." Xander said. "Let security handle the front door. Start going after the ones who got past them!"

"Yes uncle Xander." Helios said.

"And Diana, be careful." Xander said.

"I will uncle." Helios said as she flew away to the first floor and shot yellow beams at some of the Terror Crew's men.

Helios looks down and sees Pike with his wrist blades slashing some of the Terror Crew's men. "Shoot the freak!" One of the Terror Crew members shouted.

"Which one?" Another asked.

"Both of them!" The first one said before getting stabbed by Pike.

"Listen here pal, I don't like being called a freak unless I give you permission." Pike said as he pulled his blade out of the thug. He then turns to the rest of the thugs, his claws dripping in blood. "But I do give you permission to die by my hand." He then adopts a psychotic grin. "It's been a while since I committed mass murder! Time for some fun!"

Pike then lunges towards one of the Terror Crew's men and impales him in the chest. Like then gets back up and begins his onslaught. Blood splattered on the wall and floor as Helios cringed in disgust, the Terror Crew's men began to open fire on Pike, but he dodges the bullets and some of them hits Pike.

"He's not dying!" One thug shouts.

"What the hell is this guy?" Another thug shouts. The two thugs are then impaled by Pike as the bullet holes heal. Pike takes a deep breath and forms another psychotic smile.

"I love the smell of blood!" Pike said before running off killing more thugs as he ran.

"Yeah he's crazy." Helios said. "I'm gonna go that way." She then heads in the alternate direction.

Squatch is rams through more security guards at the front door. "I'm in." Squatch replied on his commlink.

"Good." Johnny said as the rest of the Terror walk through the door. "Virus, you know what to do."

"Yeah yeah." Virus said. He walks over to the receptionist desk and his body turns completely green before being surrounded by data rings. He is then sucked into the computer.

"Alright let's have some fun." Golden Tiger said. Then out of the corner of his eye he sees Phantom walking off. "Where you going?"

"You see lads, I'm off to settle an old classic UK grudge between England and Ireland." Phantom said. "I'll meet up ya later."

"Whatever." Golden Tiger said as he watched their thugs brawling with the security. "We're gonna have some real fun."

At the L-Crew base the L-Crew and L-Angels along with Carolborg were upgrading their suits and weapons.

"So what kind of upgrades are you girls getting?" Stella asked.

"I'm going to upgrade my blasters to freeze rays and flamethrowers for one." Paige said.

"Same here." Tabby said. "I want some elemental stuff like fire, ice and lightning."

"I mostly need my claws adjusted." Sid said. "They keep sliding and they almost fell off when we fought Jestor. I also want my claws to double as a grappling hook."

"I would like to have some smoke bombs." Haiku said. "So I can pull the disappearing act like Lucy."

"I would love to have my own gear too." said Leni.

Everyone looks at her surprised.

"What do you mean Leni?" Lori asked.

"Well my powers don't really increase anything except numbers and that's good and all but I kinda want something that can help me hang in there with the bad guys you know?" Leni explained. She looks at Mr. Cuddles who was doing work on Carol. He pushes up his welding goggles and puts a paw to his chin.

"I can see what I can do." Mr. Cuddles says. "In the middle of a few projects right now but I'll add you to the list. Soothsayer my notepad please." He holds out his paw and Soothsayer places a notepad on it.

"Does that have a unicorn on it?" Ronnie Anne asked with a snicker.

"Yes it is." Mr. Cuddles said as he started writing in the notepad. "Alright Leni you're on my list."

"Thanks." Leni said. She turns to the cyborg lying on the table. "What are you here for Carol?"

"Upgrades." Carol answered. "Cuddles here said he could upgrade my systems."

"Cool." Lynn said. "Hey where's Ryker?"

"Funny story." Soothsayer started. "Turns out he's been driving that motorcycle without a license so he had to go to the DMV to get one."

"Then he found out he need a permit and license to use a gun and once again he didn't have one." Mr. Cuddles added. "My bet is he's at the DMV as we speak."

Ryker sat in the DMV filling out a form to get a license to drive his motorcycle. "Damn it. I don't get this first question." A man next to him leans over and looks at his paper.

"Um that's where you put your name." The man said.

"Oh. God this is the worst invention ever." Ryker groaned. "Curse you DMV!"

"I'm sure he's having fun." Mr. Cuddles says.

"Anyway Leni, what kind of gear do you want?" Lincoln asked.

"Hm. A weapon for one like those zappy sticks Nightwing has, a staff like Robin or a sword." Leni said. "Oh and a grappling hook."

"Well I can provide the grappling hook but everything else might take a while." Mr. Cuddles said as he wrote down her request. "But I'll try. Anyway back to working on a cyborg." Suddenly the alarm goes off. "Or not." Everyone runs to the computer and Mr. Cuddles presses a button to reveal Haggar.

"Good thing we're in our costumes already." Lana whispered to Lola.

"Yep." Lola agreed.

"L-Crew we got a situation." Haggar told them. "Terror Crew are attacking Tetherby Industries with what appears to be a small army of armed street thugs."

"I see. Alright we'll deal with it." Lori said. "However we might require your help Haggar. Most likely gonna need backup."

"Me and my officers will meet you down there." Haggar said before hanging up.

"Cuddles what do we have on Tetherby's security?" Lori asked.

"Let's see." Cuddles hums as he types on the computer. "So apparently Tetherby owns a organization called Moltide which is basically a private army that double as security. Be wary of them though. Y'all might have the same enemy but they might not fully cooperate. He also has three bodyguards but they're probably with him so you most likely won't see them."

"Good they'll keep Tetherby safe." said Lori. "It looks like we're going to need to our suits and gear another time, right now we need to fight the Terror Crew."

"Eldest sibling, might I also say that this could be a good time to possibly investigate Andrew Tetherby." Lisa said. "You've been weary of him ever since we met him at the mayor manor for the banquet in our honor. So might I suggest we have the L-Angels try to investigate him by hacking into his files.".

"Probably not a bad idea sis." Luna said. "This could be the only chance we have since everyone will be distracted."

"I'll allow it." Lori said. "You girls are going to need to find another way in though."

"We'll find a way in." Stella said as she grabs her bow from the table.

"We're stealthy like that." Sid said fistbumping Tabby.

"Alright then." Lori said. "Soothsayer have Ryker meet us Tetherby Industries if or when he's done."

"That's a big 'if'." Cuddles say as he closes Carol's circuit box. "They increased the amount of paperwork you gotta fill out for gun permits."

"Either way if he's finished send him over." Lori ordered.

"Of course Lori." Soothsayer said. "But be careful. I sense something suspicious about this attack. I don't believe it's random so be on your guards."

"Right." Lori said as she looked over everyone. "Let's go!"

The Terror Crew's men continued their assault on the front door. Nuke fired an energy blast at a group of guards. Golden Tiger tossed a guard aside as he sees Pike walking towards him.

"You must be new?" Pike said as he sharpened his wrist blades. "But you won't last long."

"Wanna bet?" Golden Tiger challenged.

"It's like you want you want to die." Nuke said as he aimed a finger at Pike which started to glow.

"No more than you do." Pike said sadistically. "TIME TO DIE!"

Pike charged towards Nuke and Golden Tiger, Nuke fired an energy blast towards Pike but he dodged to the left and slashed Nuke with his wrist blades. Golden Tiger pounced towards Pike, but Pike gave the tiger man a roundhouse kick to counter the pounce.

Tiger gets back up and hits Pike with an uppercut with such force it sends him crashing through the ceiling. Tiger goes back to Nuke who is recovering from the slash and helps him to his feet.

"He got you?" Tiger asked.

"Yeah but I'll live." Nuke says before ripping his ruined shirt off. "Shame. I liked that shirt." Nuke flies through the hole in the ceiling and faces Pike. "You ruined my shirt." He aims his finger at Pike which starts to glow. "Now you die." He fires a beam from his finger right through Pike's skull. The meta then dropped to the floor dead. Nuke goes back through the hole where he met up with Tiger again.

"He dead?" Golden asked as he backfisted a guard.

"For now." Nuke said. "Perhaps he'll learn that we're out of his league." He looks around the lobby that was a warzone as the dealers battled the guards. "Let's continue on." Upstairs Pike was coming too with a groan and massive headache.

"Hmm, perhaps I underestimated them." Pike said as he got back up. "It was foolish to try to take them on solo but had to try. Better off to pick the stragglers for now." He then runs off to hunt down more invaders.

Outside Tetherby Industries, Chief Haggar stood with several police officers ready to breach Tetherby Industries waiting for the L-Crew to arrive.

"Any sign of them?" Haggar asked.

"Not yet chief." One officer said.

"Damn it." Haggar groaned. But he hears engines rumbling in the distance and he sees the L-Crew coming in.

"We're here chief." Speed Queen said.

"Good." Haggar said. "My officers are ready to assist in any way possible."

"Ok." Speed Queen said. "I want your officers to focus on the thugs that work for the Terror Crew while we deal with the Terror Crew themselves."

"Sounds like a plan." Haggar said with a nod. "Give the word Speed Queen."

"Storm the building!" Speed Queen ordered.

"Right!" The rest of L-Crew said and ran off towards the building.

On another building, the L-Angels are observing the attack on Tetherby industries. "Ok the L-Crew are storming the building." Sharpshot said as she look through binoculars. "Now let's find another entrance."

"Hold on." Gamer said as she used her blasters to scan the building. "Trying to scan for a console to hack into."

"Got anything?" Sharpshot asked.

"Eighth floor." Gamer answered. "Though there are a few people moving around up there we should be able to get there no problem."

"Good work Gamer." Sharpshot said. "Alright Angels let's move out!"

"Fire the grappling hooks!" Cherry Bomb ordered. They fire the grappling hooks and swing over to the building through the window.

Meanwhile, the lobby of Tetherby Industries was a all out Warzone as the security guards were trying to hold off the Terror Crew and their thugs.

"You gentlemen don't seem to get that you're outmatched." Candyman said as he hit a guard. "You'd need a miracle to win this."

"Then I guess we should be called the Miracle Crew then. Hahaha. Get it?" The Terror Crew and the thugs turn and see the L-Crew with several police officers standing in the doorway.

"Really Ms. Appear?" Black Ice groaned. "A joke now of all times?"

"It was a terrible joke anyway." Candyman said.

"Why are you attacking this place?" Ms. Appear asked.

"I'm sorry Ms. Appear. Only members of the Terror Crew are allowed to know that." Candyman said.

"Lame excuse." Parkour said. "How about I beat you until you spill the beans?" She approaches Candyman while cracking her knuckles when she's grabbed by a large hand. The hand turns her to where she's face to face with Squatch.

"Or I can do what I should've done months ago and put you six feet under." Squatch says.

Squatch choke slams Parkour to the ground and begins to punch Parkour in the face a bunch of times. But Parkour recovers with a right hook to the face pushing Squatch back as she gets back up.

"I ain't going down you walking hairball!" Parkour shouted.

"Then I believe we have different preferences." Squatch responded.

"Sis whenever you're ready." Amplifier says.

"Attack!" Speed Queen ordered and the L-Crew and police officers charged in. As soon as Speed Queen moved forward she was immediately dragged away and thrown into the fountain in the middle of the lobby. She looks up and sees Johnny standing over her.

"You looked like you needed a bath." Johnny taunted.

"You'll be needing one after I put you away." Speed Queen said as she got back up.

"Sorry Speedy. I ain't going back to the Dungeon!" Johnny said.

"Sorry but I don't think I was giving you a choice." Speed Queen told him. Speed Queen then goes for a kick but Johnny dodges it. Speed Queen then goes for a flurry of punches and kicks with her super speed but Johnny uses his own speed to dodge. Johnny then tried to attack with his own flurry of punches and kicks but Speed Queen uses her speed to avoid them. The two then both go for a kick but there legs collide leaving them at a standstill.

"Not bad blondie." Johnny said. "Looks like you've gotten faster since the last time we met."

"You're not so bad yourself." Speed Queen said as they lowered there legs. "But that's enough games. Let's get serious."

"Now we're talking." Johnny smirked. "Ladies first."

Speed Queen lunged forward and once again tried to hit a flurry of punches of kicks with Johnny once again dodging them with ease. However the flurry kept on getting faster and faster to a point that he had to block the hits with his arms.

"What's wrong Johnny?" Speed Queen taunted. "Too fast for you?"

"Nothing is too fast for me." Johnny said before sidestepping her attack causing to fall forward right into an uppercut from Golden Tiger. Johnny then turns to him. "What's going on big guy?"

"Let me fight her Johnny." Tiger requested. "If she's the leader of the L-Crew then she must be strong. Last time I saw her I didn't get a chance to fight her. But now I get to test myself against the leader of the L-Crew."

"Eh. Be my guest." Johnny said with a shrug. "I'm gonna see if there's someone else to punch." He walks into the battle leaving Golden Tiger.

"Now, I get to test myself against the leader of the-oof!" Tiger started saying before getting hit with a jumping knee by Speed Queen stunning the tiger man. Speed Queen then hit him with several fast shots. Tiger takes a swing at her but she ducks it before hitting several speedy kicks forcing Golden Tiger to block.

"You talk too much!" Speed Queen shouted as she delivers a high speed Bicycle kick at Golden Tiger's face.

Ms. Appear is avoiding Candyman's cane strikes and managed to block them off with her force field.

"Come now Ms. Appear don't be so sour." Candyman said.

"Sorry but you're too sweet for my taste." Ms. Appear said before pushing him back with her forcefield. "But I think you're outmatched here."

"Then let's even the odds shall we." Candyman said as he took out a candy bar, unwrapped the candy bar and ate it. A few seconds later Candyman gets buff. "Now we're even."

"We'll see about that." Ms. Appear said. "Let's go!"

Candyman runs towards Ms. Appear but she turned invisible. "Ah the disappearing trick. Predictable as always." Candyman said.

Genarocker then leaps forward with her sword and swings it at Candyman who counters it by turning his cane into a sword where he then swings at Genarocker causing the swords to clash.

"Sorry to interrupt." Genarocker said.

"As you should." Candyman retorts. "You've interrupted my business!"

Genarocker and Candyman both engaged in a sword fight, Genarocker blocked Candyman's sword strike and counter with her own attack, until Candyman dodged the attack and the two locked blades from the last cash.

"You're quite impressive." Candyman comments. "But is it enough?"

"Probably not." Genarocker admits. "If anything I'm just a distraction." Candyman looks at her confused before the confusion turned into realization. He quickly turns around and puts his left arm to block a surprise punch from Ms. Appear.

"Still predictable?" Ms. Appear says.

"Perhaps I was wrong." Candyman admitted before suddenly pulling out a second cane. "But then again I've never been predictable my whole life!"

Ms. Appear formed two force field blades in her hands as Candyman turns his second cane into another sword. Both her and Genarocker began again with both of the two heroes swinging their blades at Candyman but he blocks the attacks with his cane blades, until he counters and parry the attack at Genarocker while Ms. Appear dodged the attack.

Nuke is trying to blast down Firecracker and Surge with energy blasts, but the two threw/ shot both Energy blasts and fireballs at Nuke. Then Surge fired an Kamehama like attack on Nuke knocking him down, but he quickly got back up.

"Damn it." Surge said as she flew towards him but Nuke catches her by the throat. Surge tries to break free but she feels her energy being drained from her body. "What's going on?"

"Giving myself a little boost." Nuke said as his eyes began to glow yellow.

"You're draining my power." Surge said. Surge brings her arm back and punches Nuke right in the eye forcing him to release her. After Nuke drops her he was immediately hit with a right hand from Amplifier.

"Thanks." Surge said as she got up.

"Don't mention it." Amplifier said as she charged up an electric blast and throws it towards Nuke, but Nuke side steps to the left dodging the blast. Amplifier teleports behind Nuke and give him an electric kick to the face.

Parkour puts her arms up as she blocked a heavy blow from Squatch that sent her sliding back.

"Damn it." Parkour groaned. "Every time I get hit by him it always hurts. Durability definitely has it's limits against guys stronger than me."

"Then let's take him on together." Armor said as he walked up to Parkour coated in metal and his right hand turns into a mace.

"He's strong but let's see if he can take the three of us." Carolborg added as she came up next to Parkour. Parkour smirked and faced Squatch who didn't seem concerned that the numbers were not in his favor.

The three heroes charge towards Squatch, Armor smacks Squatch in the face with his mace hand. Carolborg forms two blasters and opens fire on Squatch. Squatch recovered the attack and choke slams Carolborg down.

Parkour jumps onto Squatch's back and begins to punch Squatch's head. Carolborg forms a giant fist and gives Squatch an uppercut to the face.

Squatch recovers and grabs Parkour off his back and throws her into Armor before turning his attention to Carolborg.

"Little birdie told me you turned good." Squatch growled.

"Guess you can say that." Carolborg responded.

"I remember you from Jestor's maze." Squatch told her. "Can honestly say I wasn't impressed."

"I did some thinking after I saved Speed Queen." Carolborg said as she fired a laser blast at Squatch's chest.

Squatch let out grunt but dusted his chest off. "You singed my chest hair." He growled. "You'll pay dearly for that." He slams both his fists down but Carolborg puts up a shield to protect herself however she was struggling.

"Damn it why is he so strong?" Carolborg groaned before forming a giant taser on her arm and shocking Squatch's leg forcing him back.

Meanwhile Black Ice is fighting off the Terror Crew's thugs when she notices something on the balcony of the next floor.

"Could it be?" Black Ice said before shooting ice on the floor creating a pillar that carried her to the next floor.

"Black Ice come back!" Speed Queen ordered as she ducked a hit from Golden Tiger. However Black Ice ignored her and ran out of sight. Once Black Ice runs into the second floor hallway she sees several Terror Crew thugs get blasted away. She then slowly approaches the branching hallway and sees Helios standing over several bodies of Terror Crew thugs.

"Helios." Black Ice growled as she formed her ice hammer.

"Black Ice. It's nice to meet you again." Helios said.

"What are you doing here Helios?" Black Ice asked.

"I'm just here on my own business." Helios replied. "You're just in time for our rematch."

"Fine." Black Ice said preparing her hammer. "After today you're going to the Dungeon."

"Sorry but that's not happening." Helios said before firing a ball of plasma at Black Ice who rolls out of the way.

"Where's your uncle?" Black Ice demanded as she ran towards Helios with her hammer.

"I dunno." Helios said with a shrug as she avoided the hammer before hitting Black Ice with a plasma fist. "He's probably doing hunter stuff."

"Don't lie! He's somewhere in the building!" Black Ice growled as she got back up.

"Look I do what I want." Helios tells her. "He's off doing his own little thing while I come here and do whatever I want. It's how it works Black Ice."

"I'm ending it right!" Black Ice shouted as she fired an ice beam at Helios.

"Sure you will." Helios said with an eye roll as she created a wall of plasma blocking the ice beam. "Let me know when you're going to try because I'm getting bored."

Black Ice formed ice blades in her hands and throws one ice blade at Helios, but she fired an plasma blast at the ice blade melting it. But her guard was let down right when Black Ice punched Helios in the face with an ice fist and sliced her with an ice sword.

Helios recovered from the attack and hits Black Ice a round house kick to the left side of her ribs. Black Ice groans in pain, but she quickly recovers and forms icicles and launched them towards Helios, even one of them impaled her right arm.

"Damn it." Helios groaned as she pulled the icicle from her arm. "Lucky shot." She forms two light blades. "Too bad you won't get another." Black Ice forms another ice blade and readies herself.

"Bring it." Black Ice challenged before the two charged at each other.

Back in the lobby it was utter chaos. Speed Queen backflipped away from Golden Tiger who growled in annoyance.

"C'mon Speedy I'm just getting warmed up." Tiger growled.

"Unfortunately for you so am I." Speed Queen said. Her watch then goes off.

"Speed Queen there are still Terror Crew thugs on the upper floors." Mr. Cuddles reports. "You're gonna have to send people further into the building. Plus we don't know where Phantom and Virus are."

"Right." Speed Queen said as she ducked another swing from Golden Tiger. "Amplifier, Firecracker and Crystal Princess. Head further into the building and track down any Terror Crew thugs and try to find Phantom and Virus."

"On it!" Firecracker, Amplifier and Crystal Princess replied at the same time and ran or flew off in Firecracker and Amplifier's case.

"I've been wanting a rematch on virus for a long time." Amplifier said.

"Should we go after them?" Squatch asked as he tried to hold back Wildgirl who was a elephant.

"Nah." Johnny responded as he casually dodged a swing from Ms. Appear. "I think they'll have their hands full. Zoya! Come out and show these heroes what you got." Zoya who was standing over a Tetherby Industries guard nodded and walked towards the battle between the L-Crew and Terror Crew. Prodigy who was levitating over the battle watched her with interest.

"Hmm. The student of the Terror Crew is joining the battle." She said. "Soothsayer, are you watching?"

"Indeed I am Prodigy." Soothsayer responded. "I suggest you don't take the girl lightly. She was trained by the Terror Crew so who knows what they taught her."

"Understood." Prodigy said as she witness Zoya running up to and punching her in the chest, but Ms. appear blocks it off with a forcefield.

"Easy there kid." Ms. Appear said. "You're a little out of your league."

"Oh I'm already in the same league as you." said Zoya as she gives Ms. Appear a kick to the ribs.

However Ms. Appear wasn't fazed and just rubbed the spot where Zoya kicked her.

"Um nice kick I guess?" Ms. Appear said sounding unsure.

"You're mocking me!" Zoya shouted.

"Kid why aren't you using your powers?" Tiger growled before getting punched in the stomach by Speed Queen.

"Sorry I'm nervous." Zoya said.

"Just relax." Squatch told her. "Remember your lessons. Deep breaths, calm mind."

Zoya did Excalty what Squatch told her to do. "Ok I'm good." Zoya said.

"Are you sure?" Squatch asked.

Zoya pulled her fist back and turned into steel. "Positive." She responded before punching Ms. Appear in the stomach.

"Ok that hurts." Ms. Appear groans in pain.

"Not bad kid." Squatch said. "Now take down Ms. Appear!"

"Yeah!" Zoya said before hitting an uppercut on Ms. Appear's chin.

"Gotta love her enthusiasm." Squatch said to Parkour as she tried to punch him.

"I'll wipe that smile off of your face." Parkour said as she elbowed Squatch in the face.

"What I'm not allowed to have pride over the kid?" Squatch growled as he responded by punching Parkour into the ground. He is then suddenly hit with a right hook from Petty. "The walking bubblegum."

"It's Petty!" Petty shouted as he punched Squatch again and give him a uppercut as well.

"What you are is trash." Squatch responded before hitting a right hand of his own. "You know after seeing what you did to that monster, I was expecting more of a challenge."

"Petty still gonna beat you." Petty said. Squatch looks at him and a small smile forms on his face.

"Then bring it on." He growled before the two lunged at each other.

A few floors up, Xander was making his way through the hallway when he sees a few thugs come around the corner.

"Shit it's Xander!" One shouted. Xander smirks and picks up his speed. One thug tries to stab him but Xander grabs his arm, breaks it, and then throws him into the wall. Another thug jumps onto his back but Xander grabs him and throws him hard onto the floor where he then kicks with such force he was sent flying. The final thug shakily aims his gun at Xander who slowly walks towards him.

"C'mon mate." Xander challenged. "Pull the trigger. This is the only shot you'll get." The thug then throws his gun to the ground and tries to run. "Ah. Now we have a hunt." He pulls out his hunting knife and throws it at the retreating thug hitting him in the back. "Bullseye."

Xander walks up to the dead body And retrieves his knife from the thug's back. But he hear footsteps coming down the hallway. "Ah, some more prey." Xander smirked.

He sees several more Terror Crew thugs run up and point there guns at him.

"Shoot this bitch!" One thug shouted. Xander smirks and picked up the dead body and puts it in front of him. The thugs open fire but the bullets hit the dead body as Xander runs towards them. Once Xander is close he throws the dead body at the thugs knocking a few down. Xander grabs the thug closest to him and punches him in the gut and then elbows him in the back of the neck. He grabs another thug, lifts him up and drops him back first on his knee. He sees the three thugs that the dead body hit start to get up. He runs up to them and clotheslines two of them. He then grabs the last one and slams his his head into the floor.

"That was fun." Xander said. He then hears his comms go off. "Yeah?"

"Xander there seems to be something happening on the eighth floor." Tetherby said. "Go deal with it."

"Sure thing mate." Xander said. "Maybe they'll be more of a challenge."

Meanwhile on the eighth floor, the L-Angels are avoiding some of the thugs and Tetherby's men, there weren't alot of them but the girls decided not to get involve and completing their mission.

Keep moving girls." Sharpshot ordered. "We should be approaching the room soon." They dive behind a wall as they saw a Terror Crew wrestling with a security guard.

"That was close." Beast said. The girls then quickly run across the hall to the room they wanted to get too. They go through the door and see it's an office. "Alright we're in. Gamer do your thing."

"Right." Gamer said as she sat at the desk and booted up the computer. "Let's get cracking." Everyone gathers around the computer unaware of someone approaching the office.

A few floors down, Amplifier, Firecracker and Crystal Princess were fighting through Terror Crew thugs. Amplifier blasts two of them with electricity before kicking another. Firecracker hits one with a firey right hand before blasting another one. Crystal Princess smacks a thug with her crystal bat before hitting another in the knee.

"Nice one dudes." Amplifier said. "Let's keep going."

"Right." Firecracker and Crystal Princess said in unison before running off.

"Wonder where Phantom and Virus are?" Crystal Princess questions.

"They're here." Firecracker responded. "I know it. Terror Crew wouldn't leave two guys behind in a raid this big." As the three ran they didn't notice a figure jumping from wall to wall chasing after them. As soon as he was close the figure launched himself off the wall right at the three heroes with two blades out. Crystal Princess hears something behind them and turns to see the figure coming right at them.

"Guys watch out!" She called. The other two hear her warning and leap out of the way causing the figure to crash in between the three.

"It's Pike!" Crystal Princess cried out. Pike straightened out and turned to face the L-Crew.

"Hello everyone." Pike said with an almost sadistic tone. "So who wishes to die first?"

"We're not going to die tonight!" Amplifier said with static in her hands.

"What the hell are you doing here Pike?" Firecracker asked.

"I heard that there was an opportunity to create a mountain of bodies and what better place to leave them than Tetherby Industries." Pike said. "And the fact the L-Crew get to become those bodies makes this even better!"

"No way we're being added to your kill count." Crystal Princess said as she forms two crystal blades.

"Strange. I don't remember giving you a choice!" Pike shouted before lunging at Amplifier who quickly jumps out of the way.

Amplifier threw two electric orbs at Pike, he managed to dodged them but gets striker in the back with Crystal Princess' crystal swords. Pike turned around and when he's about to slash her, Firecracker threw two fireballs a Pike, knocking him down.

"How'd you like that?" Firecracker taunted. However his bravado disappeared when he saw Pike's wounds heal. "Dang it."

"This guy is sick in the head." Crystal Princess tells him. "Black Ice had his leg trapped in ice so we thought we had him. But he sliced his leg off and then reattached it!"

"Yikes! This guy is insane!" Firecracker said.

Pike quickly gets up with his wrist up and ready to stab. "Damn right I am and going to enjoy licking your blood off my blades!" Pike said.

"Well that's not sanitary." Firecracker says. Pike then rushes him forcing Firecracker to fly backwards to try to avoid the slashes. Firecracker backs into a wall and Pike tries to stab him but Firecracker ducks causing Pike's blade to get stuck in the wall.

Pike is trying to trying to get his blade out of the wall. Amplifier teleported behind Pike and shocked Pike from her fingertips. Pike managed to slash Amplifier with his free blade across her chest.

"Damn it." Amplifier groaned holding her chest. "Luckily Prodigy and Multiple Girl made these suits so they could protect us from certain wounds." She moves her hand from her chest and sees some blood. "But those blades are still sharp as hell."

"Gonna have to be careful on this one." Firecracker said.

"Don't go soft on me yet kiddies." Pike said as he turned to face them. "The fun is just beginning!" He then lunges at them.

In a nearby office, Virus pops out of the computer sweating and breathing heavily. "Damn. Tetherby Industries has a hell of a online security system." He says. "Almost didn't make it out of there." He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a flash drive. "But I got what we needed." He turns to the computer. "But I ain't going back in there." He activates his comm. "Hey Johnny. I got the thing but the computer has way too crazy of a security system. I ain't going back in there. Gonna take the long way down."

"Whatever." Johnny responded with a grunt. "Just get down here."

"Whatever." Virus says. He's about to leave when he hears a commotion in the hall. "Sounds like something is going on out there. Wonder what's up."

Back in the lobby, Johnny countered a kick from Speed Queen with a kick of his own except this time he continued his attack with his other leg.

Speed Queen dodged the kick and gave Johnny as uppercut with her right hand. Johnny recovered from attack and gave Speed Queen a bicycle kick to the face. "Why are you attacking Tetherby industries?" Speed Queen asked while she recovered from the attack. "Was stealing that arm band wasn't enough?"

"Please. Tetherby has stuff that's worth a fortune here." Johnny responded. "A lot of stuff here can go for a million bucks if not more. But we're here for something specific and you ain't gonna find out what just yet."

"You're not stealing anything else from this place!" Speed Queen replied as she punched Johnny at high speed ten times.

Speed Queen finishes her punches and expects Johnny to eventually feel the hits. However he doesn't react to them.

"Funny." Johnny said with a smug look on his face. "I guess you missed."

"I missed? How?" Speed Queen questions and then it came to her. "Unless he was dodging the same time I was attacking. But I could've sworn I hit him. Unless he was timing my hits so he could dodge. Then he dodged them at such speeds that I didn't even see him move."

Then Speed Queen was hit by an unseen force and was smacked towards a wall. She gets back up only to get hit again. "You're not quick enough blondie." Johnny said.

"Damn it." Speed Queen growled. "He's gotten faster and he's not using the drug. He's definitely been practicing." She hears a crashing sound and she turns to see Golden Tiger now brawling with Petty. The two were almost evenly matched in strength but Speed Queen knew Tiger had the advantage in skill.

Golden Tiger gains the Upper hand and throws Petty to the wall and curb stumps on Petty's chest. "Stay down!" Golden Tiger shouted.

"No!" Petty shouted as he got back up and gave Golden Tiger a right hook to the face.

Parkour leaps back avoiding a rocket fired by Candyman's cane.

"Huh. I missed." Candyman said. "Then again it was a heatseeking missile so it'd probably work better on Firecracker."

"Didn't think that one through you Willy Wonka knock off!" Parkour shouted. But then she was smacked by Squatch's fist knocking her to the ground.

"You were saying loud mouth?" Squatch smirked.

"That all you got?" Parkour challenged.

"You know I got more." Squatch responded but before he can do anything, Genarocker and Carolborg come at him from either side of him with Genarocker attacking with her mechanical fists.

Squatch sucker punched Carolborg in the face, as Genarocker managed to sucker punch Squatch with her mechanical fist in the face. Carolborg gets back up and forms two blades in her hands.

"Time for a haircut." Carolborg shouted before rushing at Squatch. Armor blocks a swing from Candyman before going for a right hand sending Candyman sliding back.

"Is that all you have Armor?" Candyman questions. "It's sad to say that I expected that punch to hurt more."

"That's something I'm working on." Armor said. "Also shouldn't your drug have worn off by now?"

"You would be right if I hadn't already improved my drug to last longer!" Candyman exclaimed. However as soon as he finished, his muscles went back to normal. "Huh. What timing." He holds up his cane. "But I ain't done yet."

Ms. Appear sidestepped a punch from Zoya who was getting more and more frustrated.

"Hold still!" Zoya shouted.

"Sorry kid but that's not happening." Ms. Appear told her. "Look these guys are not good for you. You should leave while you can."

"Why should I? They took me in after they killed my horrible father." Zoya said.

"They what?! Ms. Appear gasped.

"He was a bad father anyway! Besides the Terror Crew are way better." Zoya replied.

"But they're murderers." Ms. Appear argued.

"Yeah." Zoya said. "And what's your point?"

"My point is that you deserve better than to be with criminals." Ms. Appear replied.

"So what you're saying is that I should abandon the only true family I've known because some hero tells me too?" Zoya questions.

"Not the way I would've put it but yeah." Ms. Appear said. "Look come with us and we can give you a better life." She holds out her hand. "Just take my hand." Zoya looks at the hand and tears begin to to fall.

"Help me." Zoya said as she took Ms. Appear's hand. However her expression quickly changed from crying to sinister and before Ms. Appear can react, Zoya pulls her forward right into an uppercut knocking her down. "Help me prove that you heroes are so damn gullible. You act like they kidnapped me and then brainwashed me. Here's the true fact hero. I wanted to go with them. I wanted to learn under them. Heroes didn't help me when I needed them but a bunch if villians did. So I'm one of them by choice. Sorry that you're wrong but that's how it is."

"Well. If you like the Terror Crew. You can rot with them in the Dungeon." Ms. Appear said as she formed a force field mace in her hand.

"Like you'd be able to put me in there." Zoya said. "Bring it on loser!"

Ms. Appear swings her force field mace at Zoya, but she blocks the attack with her metal arms and counters with a punch to Ms. Appear's gut. But Ms. Appear returned the attack with a smack to the side with her forcefield mace. Zoya tried to throw some punches at Ms. Appear but she either dodged or blocked the attacks.

"C'mon kid I'm out of your league." Ms. Appear said. "Just give up."

"Hell no!" Zoya shouted. "I'm going to break you!"

"Then bring it on!" Ms. Appear challenged.

Zoya and Ms. Appear both exchanged hits and blows on each other. But Zoya began to gain the upper hand and began to beat up Ms. Appear with her steel hands. Then she gives Ms. Appear an uppercut to the face knocking her down as her forcefield mace disappears.

"Consider yourself my first kill." Zoya said as she raised her fist to deliver the final blow. But all of a sudden she was hoisted up by some vines and Zoya was hanging up by her feet. "What the hell?!" Zoya exclaimed she looked around until she sees Greenthumb glaring at her.

"Thanks Greenthumb." Ms. Appear said. "I got too cocky for my own good so I let my guard down. Won't happen again."

"Let me down!" Zoya shouted.

"Nah, I think you should just hang around." Ms. Appear laughed.

"Your puns are bad!" Zoya shouted. Suddenly a yellow beam blasts the vines freeing Zoya. Once she lands Zoya sees Nuke with his hand raised.

"Now Zoya calm down." Nuke said. "You lose your cool then they win." Zoya nods and takes a deep breath.

"Ok." She says before turning back to Ms. Appear and Greenthumb. "I know you're more experienced than me. I know that you're stronger than me. Trust me I get it. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna surrender to you. Today is the day I make my uncles proud and knock your teeth straight." Ms. Appear looks at her surprised before getting serious.

"Alright kid. I'll humor you." She tells her. "But I'm done playing around. This time I ain't going easy on you." Zoya then lunges at the two heroes.

"That a girl." Nuke said before putting his hand up and catching Surge who was trying to attack him from the side. He then turns his head to her. "As for you, let's go somewhere more private." He then blasts the ceiling creating a hole. He then flies through it taking Surge with him.

"Surge!" Armor cried out as Squatch smacks Armor to a wall.

"Damn it." Speed Queen growled. "This is getting out of control." She presses a button on her watch. "Sharpshot." She quickly dodges a swing from Candyman. "What's the status on your mission?"

"Um, can we call you back?" Sharpshot responded. Speed Queen looked at her watch concerned.

"Is something wrong?" She asked.

"Um we kinda ran into a slight complication." Sharpshot said before readying her bow with and arrow. Around her, the rest of the L-Angels had there weapons out and ready as faced the figure standing in the doorway across from them. Xander.

"Well what do we have here?" Xander said. "A few children in a place they don't belong. Perhaps I should show you what happens when you trespass in places you don't belong."

Smoke: Sorry to do this guys, but we're gonna split into two parts. It might seem like mean, but we'll go back to the action in the next chapter. So you're gonna have to be patient and such.

Zachlor16: And for those wondering where Phantom is, don't worry he'll appear in the next chapter. Also before you all question why Zoya was able to fight Luan, please note that Luan wasn't taking her seriously and saw her as an easy victory so she let her guard down. So see ya next time.
