Need to beat him

Driving to the library took me some time. Almost missing my one-stop. No idea, but I keep thinking about Paula.

When I finally got there, I walked directly inside. Paula has not answered my text.

Therefore, I hope she will know where to look for me.

After coming inside, I smiled and took a few books. Just to learn more about the petty stuff. Better to be prepared earlier than not.

While having them with me, I looked around and started learning after sitting in my normal place. I enjoy being here. A well-hidden place for everyone around.

A few times, I could see people from my school. So just in case, I hide here.

Learning passed so peacefully. Fully, I focused on what was in front of me. This time my phone broke. As it started ringing. Hearing it, I answered and said, "Yes."

"Oh, Jack. Where you are?" Paula's voice comes.

"Same place," I said.

"Ok," she said, and I hung out. After I had done this, I moved back to what I was doing. Who knows when Paula will come? Therefore, I can still have some more time until she will come.

At one point, I could see her coming to me. Seeing Paula smiling, she sat on my side and asked, "So, Jack?"

"Yes," I asked when she showed me what she wanted to do. It is so similar to what we had done yesterday.

Seeing it, I looked into her face. She kept smiling, so I nodded and started helping her.

This took us some time.

She is like me. I could see this.

If someone, explains it to her, she would understand. Maybe with the previous one, she had bigger problems. Therefore, she learns more.

She asked me what I had done last school year. I know this, but it's becoming hard for me. After some time, I remembered how to do it.

Therefore, I started helping her with all that I learned. This is so good for me to remember everything. We should not have this.

However, it might show in extra questions during our test. So a good idea came from Paula that she wanted to learn this.

After it ended, she looked at my phone, and I started ringing. Hearing it, I said, "I need to answer," as I could see that Sophia was calling.

"Ok," Paula said, and when I moved to the side. Here Paula should not hear my talk with Sophia. I answered while saying, "yes."

"Oh, Jack. Where are you? What will you say about lunch?"

"Oh, sorry. I am busy now. Maybe another day," I said.

"Oh, come on," Sophia said, and I could hear Joanna's voice, "he is busy. Let him do what he is doing. He might meet someone."

Hearing it, I hope Joanna is joking. He has sent no one to look at me.

I hope so.

Before Joanna finished, Megan's voice came. "Come on Sophia. We will have dinner with him. Jack might cook. Alternatively, we will order something good. "

"Ok. See you at dinner," Sophia said, and she hung out.

Before sitting, I looked into the place where I was.

No mirrors, nothing. Therefore, I should be safe.

Hearing me, she nodded, and I looked at her. Seeing her smiling is so nice.

I can observe her all day.

If I could make a picture of her.

This might be a dream. However, at one point, I might.

Not now.

I do not want to be so obvious about this.

As I looked at her, she finally said, "So, Jack. I still have a few things to do."

"Oh ok. Let us do this. I have some plans for the latter," I said.

"Oh, which are?" she asked.

"Training. I want to learn self-defence," I said.

"Oh. To not happen earlier," she asked which I only answered with a quick nod.

Seeing it, she nodded and said, "Ok. So now chemistry."

"Oh."

When she heard me, I smiled, and we moved to it. I hope that all will be about what I learn.

I might not be the best at this, but I tried to help her with everything. Still, I might be slightly better than her in chemistry.

This now becomes a bigger problem than I thought.

Good, that we are in the library.

I learned it, but I could not remember it all. Therefore, I got up and looked at her. Seeing my look, Paula asked, "Something is happening?"

"I will go for one book. It will help us."

"Ok," she said.

I spent hours here, so it took me a quick search for a book. Which we will need.

When I found it, I came back to Paula, and when she looked at me, she asked, "this one for sure."

"It might look old. If I am not mistaken for the eighties, it is great for this. Trust me."

"Oh, I hope so," she said, and when I looked at her, I saw what we required, and I showed this to her.

Seeing it, she nodded, and when she read, she said, "oh, good one. I might buy one."

"It will be hard. Oh, wait," I said, seeing Paula look.

As she smiled, I looked back, and I could see, Emily coming to us. Seeing her, she said, "Paula."

"Oh, the time has come," Paula asked. Hearing it, I got up, and when I wanted to let them have free time. I walked to buy water.

After buying it, I came back, and when I looked at Emily sitting in an empty place. Seeing it, I looked at them, and Emily looked at me. Seeing her look, she said, "So you keep learning about this dark magic. This is unbelievable."

"Oh it is not," I said, and as I could see her look, I smiled and started telling her what all.

I could see Emily looking at me. She did not probably like me telling her this.

I finished as quickly as possible, and when she smiled, I said, "I will go now."

"Oh Jack," Paula said, and when I smiled, I said, "I told you."

"Oh, ok," she said, and after grabbing everything, I walked away.

Still having some time before I will go to my training so I can go around. Just to lose time.

I do not want to be close to Paula. Emily looked if it could kill it, and would do this to me. She is scary sometimes.

Paula POV

As I looked at Emily, she smiled and said, "Really? With him?"

"Girl," I said, looking into her eyes. She came an hour earlier than I wanted. My time alone with Jack has ended.

I hate it so much. As Emily looked at me, she said, "Calm down. Don't tell me."

"What. I asked him to help me. You should know this. I need to beat him. So how I can do this if he will not teach me some extra things? He is so smart."

While doing it, I showed her maths.

Seeing it, I continued, "I have problems. As I told you before. He is brilliant with maths. Therefore, I need his help. Girl. Don't add unnecessary things to your thinking."

"Not about this," she said.

"So what now?"

"Oh, you look. Disappointment. The girl woke up. Nobody from your home will accept him."

"I do not know what you are talking about. So now. Let us move from this. Where is Lucy? She should come with you here. An hour later," I asked.

"Oh. She might be late. You know," Emily started saying, and Lucy showed up.

Seeing her sitting on my side, she said, "I thought I would be earlier. Sorry about being late."

"Oh no. I came here an hour earlier. So we can go shopping now," Emily said while showing her card. Seeing it, I shook my head.

I wanted to spend much more time with Jack. Now I need to be with them.

Sometimes their shopping addiction is too much for me. Going around buying nothing. It sometimes might become too annoying.

I enjoy going there, but they can spend at least three hours each day there. Weekdays might come to eight.

Knowing it, I said, "So let's go. Who will drive? Brother gave me a lift here."

"Oh, no driver or car?" Emily and Lucy asked at the same time. When I nodded, Emily said, "So come in, mine."

"Ok," I said. I will buy a few clothes at max. Maybe nothing.

I could see their smiles, so I walked after them outside and after sitting in Emily's car. While there, she started her Mercedes. Seeing it, she smiled, and we drove to RICH.
