Jack, what are you doing here?

Jack POV

As I kept waiting, the horn woke me up. Seeing JJ coming, I looked at him and sat at the back.

"What is happening?"

"Nothing," I said, and as I looked at him, I asked, "Will it signal that I don't have seatbelts?"

"No," JJ said.

Hearing him, I nodded and said, "Good."

When he looked at me for a second, I smiled and started changing. While I kept doing it, he said, "Flexible."

"Oh, not the first time."

"Good to know," he said. Hearing it, I shook my head.

When I did this, I put on shoes and a hoodie just after. When I did this, I smiled and started moving from my suit jacket things to my Jeans.

While I kept doing it, he said, "You will need to go from the back."

"No problem. Who knows this from security?"

"Oh, everyone from our divisions. Only your grandparents don't know," he said. Hearing it, I nodded and lingered in the chair.

When I fixed the mask, I smiled and looked outside. It only took seconds, and when we came to our destination, I said, "So see you later."

"Ok. Call me when you come out," he said.

"Oh what? Finally, going to eat?" I asked.

"To the bathroom. No idea how long I will spend there," he said. Hearing it, I started laughing and walked out.

Seeing JJ on his phone, I looked at the doors and started walking slowly there. Good, that they are open, so I walked slowly inside.

Seeing people around me smiled and started walking.

While I kept doing it, I could feel someone grab my shoulder. Feeling it, I looked at who and said, "Yes."

"Who are you?"

"You are," I asked.

"Old master Cole bodyguards," he said.

Hearing it, I looked at him. Why can my luck be so bad? The first person I am meeting is someone who does not know about my existence.

What I can do now?

With quick thinking, I said, "Joanna Williams called for my help. No idea what is happening."

"You," he started saying, and I took my phone saying, "I can call her."

"Do it?" he said. When I looked at him, I wanted to hide how she was there. As I keep calling her, she does not answer.

"Oh well. Do you have her private number?"

"No. We can't have young missed numbers. You're going with me," he said. Hearing it, I looked at him. Once again, I am taken by who knows where.

As I kept following him, we came to one room, and I could see nobody there.

Seeing it, he said, "Soon someone should come, and we will know it all."

When he was done saying this. I could hear him cracking his fingers.

"Really."

Only this escaped from my lips. As I looked at him older, a man came inside. Looking at him, I recognise him.

Grandpa Cole.

Seeing him, I smiled, and he said, "Who are you?"

"I was here with Paula Evans," I said.

"Well," he said, and when I removed my mask, he looked at me.

I could see him nodding, and he continued, "So you come here to do what?"

"Meet with Joanna Williams."

"What do you want from my granddaughter? Jumping from Evans to Williams. You should know what will happen to someone like that," grandpa started saying while taking the phone out.

Seeing it, I said, "please. Don't."

"So, what are you planning to do?"

"Oh, any of your granddaughters know me. If you can tell any of them that Jack had come. They should know," I said.

Hearing me, he looked at me and said, "If you are a liar."

"Oh, you can do what you want to," I said. Hearing me, grandpa nodded, and he walked out. It only took him a second, and he came back.

Seeing him looking at me, he smiled and said, "So can you tell me why you had come."

"Oh, I received a text message from Joanna. That I should be here."

"You were with the Evans girl earlier," he said.

"Yes. During all this I received it," I said. Just wanted to let time pass, so I kept repeating the same words just longer.

As he looked at me, I could see Marko showing up. Seeing me, he asked, "Jack, what are you doing here?"

"You can see," I said, and when he nodded, he asked, "JJ is."

"Outside," I said.

"Ok. Go there. Young miss, don't need you for now," he said. Hearing it, I nodded, and when I fixed the mask on my face, I walked out.

Therefore, something happened. Knowing it, I looked at him, and grandpa said, "Oh, like that."

"Yes. I know him well. Almost everyone from our unit knows him."

"Oh," grandpa said, and as he looked at his bodyguard, he added, "Why?"

"He is training there. Do not ask why. Young misses a decision," Marko said. Hearing it, I suppose something heavy is happening.

So as fast as possible, I came out. After coming to the doors, I could see grandpa Williams. Seeing me, he asked, "Who are you?"

"I am going out."

"Wait, I know you," he said.

Hearing it, I looked at him and said, "Yes. I came here with Paula Evans. Joanna Williams called me, but now she does not need me. So I am going out."

"Oh," he said while realising me. Seeing it, he comes with me out.

I asked, "Might I know what is happening?"

"I am just curious about you," he said while lighting his cigarette. Seeing it, I nodded.

"So you come here to meet with Joanna?"

"Yes. She texted me to come here. No idea why," I said.

Hearing me, grandpa nodded, and when we came out, I could not see JJ in the car. Seeing it, I looked at grandpa, and he continued, "So how did you meet?"

"Oh, hard to say. She once had a problem, and I helped her with this. No idea why she told me to come here," I lied.

"Oh, maybe she wants you to be shown in front of your family. She can be jealous of you being here with Evans, the girl."

"Oh no. She knows about this. We do not have this type of relationship. Do not worry about this," I said.

Hearing me, he looked into my eyes. Seeing it, I smiled and continued, "everyone knows me. So this will never happen."

"Oh, woman's heart. You will never understand," he said, and when I looked at him, I could feel something cold on my neck.

Seeing it, I could hear the voice, "money out now."

"Wait," I started saying while moving my hand into my pocket.

I could do nothing now.

Especially as this could hurt me so much. While feeling this cold metal on my neck, I looked at grandpa.

He is Stoic like hell.

No idea why. Perhaps he could call someone or do something.

He is just smoking.

Seeing it, I slowly started moving my wallet out and could hear, "knife out from the young master's neck. If you hurt him a little. No idea what might happen. Commander."

"Wait," grandpa said while looking at me.

I could feel metal disappearing, and I looked at JJ, and the man was behind me. Seeing it, I said, "really? You could use my name."

"I am sorry, young master. I can't," JJ said.

"Wait. What young master," grandpa and a man who kept holding a knife in his hand said.

"Fourth division commander, what are you saying? You have it has promoted just to this position recently," a man with a knife said.

"Commander. You might wonder why the fourth division was created." JJ said.

"Wait. What a young master! What fourth division?" grandpa said.

"Master. The person here is the fourth division commander. You accepted that each of your grandkids should have separate divisions."

"Yes. I know this. Still, why fourth was created?" grandpa said.

Hearing it, I looked into his eyes, and when I removed my mask, I said, "Oh well."

Before I could continue, I could see mom running out. Seeing it, grandpa said, "Helen."

"Jack, are you all right?" mom said while checking my neck. Seeing that nothing was there, she said, "dad. If you want to act like that, you should know what you are doing."

"I wanted to test him. Do not worry. The knife isn't sharp," grandpa said.

"Still," mom said. Hearing her words, I said, "All is good. Now we probably need to explain it all. Mom."

When my words came out, grandpa looked at me.

Seeing his look, I grabbed grandpa's hand and said, "Let's come inside. We probably need to explain it all to them."

"Yes. You need it. Especially Helen. Who is he? Why is he calling you mom? You had a child without our knowledge," grandpa started saying.

Hearing it, I shook my head and said, "Let's come inside."

"Yes. Dad listens to what Jack has said," mom said. Hearing her words, grandpa nodded, and we started walking slowly inside.

While seeing it, I looked at JJ, and when I shook my head, I said, "Really?"

"I needed to," he said. Hearing it once again, I shook my head and walked after everyone.
