Chapter 28 Trigured

Jenny looked and Mike felt like her glare could bore a hole in his skull but never dared to look her in the eyes.

Tapping her shoulder lightly, Jerry chuckled harmlessly. "Jenny, I'm fine. And besides, it was a good warm up!" She glared at him and he gulped. "It's been a while since I last beat some people up." He smiled and Jenny's glare died out.She pouted as she examined him once again.

"How do you feel now?"

"Good!" He exclaimed with a huge smile.

"Okay." She said and scanned him up and down then the next thing she jumped on him and hugged him tightly not minding the audience she had. "I missed you so much!! I thought I had lost you!!" She cried her eyes out as the memories of that dreadful day flashed in her mind. "When the car fell into the valley...I...I thought..you had died Emma!!! Waaaaa!!!!"

"Shhhh, don't be such a cry baby!" Emma held back his tears and hugged her back.

"I was scared Emma. I thought I was going to remain alone on this world!!!" Jenny continued to let her grevances out that she had kept in her heart.

"Oh!" he exclaimed dramatically. "Someone's gonna get offended you know!" Emma chuckled.

"Who?!" Jenny asked without drawing from his embrace.

"I beat him up. He's in the hospital right now." Emma told her with a small laugh.

Jason drowned in vinegar where he sat, his jaw clenched and hands in fists at the sides.

"Haha, you never cease to torture poor Jerry...." she pulled back and looked at Emma wide eyed. "Jerry is alive too!!!!!!!" He had been shot at the heart! How did he survive?! Does that mean all the others didn't die and were somehow miraculously saved!! Jenny's eyes continued to water at the hope and the joy, she hiccuped and couldn't find her voice, like a lump had been stuffed in it.

"The one and only!" a coarse voice rang out from the entrance and Jenny snapped to its direction to see a man in his early thirties smiling at her.

"Jerry!!!!!!" she screeched and dashed to where he stood jumping up on him and wrapping her legs around his torso and face burried in the crook of his neck, she cried silently. Jerry held her mid waist and hugged her back with a fond smile and tears dripping from his eyes silently. How he missed his little bunny!!

"Her proximity with men would drive me crazy if I were her boyfriend!" Emma chuckled as he looked at the men frozen in their seats.

However, Jason was the coldest and his anger was barely held on a leash as he stabbed Jerry to death with his glare. James, Mike and Travis were observing Jason from the corner of their eyes while Liam gulped down his drink to swallow the bitter feeling in his chest.

The Temperature in the room continued to drop and when Jerry's eyes accidentally met Jason's and as a man, he kinda picked on the signal that roared 'get your hands off!!!' ,he gulped and released Jenny. He felt like he could die if he continued to hold onto his little bunny anylonger. He tried to pluck her off himself but she was stuck in him which was not being good news to him. "Get down already! Your nolonger small and weigh tonnes!!" He faked annoyance and Jenny forced herself to let go. Jerry drew some space between himself and Jenny.and smiled ruffling her hair which was also not warmly welcomed by Jason who hardened his lethal glare at him.

"It's been three years and your already pushing me away. You've only compensated a hug for a day. You still have1094 hugs to go." Jenny complained with a pout and a red nose with beady cow eyes.

Jason, who couldn't hold it in anylonger, without his awareness moved from his seat and took Jenny by the hand. He dragged her away from Jerry to where he was seating earlier. Jenny was confused but still followed and sat. Jason handed her a glass of water and knelt on one knee near her. "Drink!" He took out his handkerchief and dabbed her eyes. He complained with an expressionless face. "You look ugly when you cry."

Jenny chocked on her drink and glared at him. "Then don't look if I'm so ugly." She snapped and Jason stopped his actions and scrutinised her red face. "Don't hug random guys again....." he spat coldly and took the glass from her hands. "...and don't choke on your drinks again!" He stood up and looked down at her.

Jenny ran short of what to say to Jason as her mouth hung loose. The others in the room also looked on puzzled. "Those are not random guys!!"

"They are not, I know. Don't hug them again." Jason looked at at Emma and Jerry with a hard look and walked out of the room.

"Jealous beyond redemption!" James sneered and Mike nodded in agreement.

"And the worst is that he doesn't know!" Travis joined in and Emma along Jerry watched on puzzled

Jenny creased her forehead and tried to follow what the guys were saying. "Jealous? Who is Jealous?!" she asked no one in particular.

They all sighed and shook their heads in resignation.

Jason walked in the hall way towards his chambers. He couldn't keep on pretending and the pain was getting to him slowly, his vision blurred and breathing became ragged. He was feeling dizzy and had to hold onto the walls for support, he felt his nose damp and reached out a hand only to find that he was bleeding. 'Not now, please not now!' He pleaded internally and dragged himself till he was at the door. But opening it became hard as he felt his head shatter at the rock splitting headaches. Groaning, he gave up and collapsed to his knees, his breath getting more uneven. He drew back from his knees and leaned against the door for support. He reached for his emergency button in his pants and pressed it to call for James. This headache was sure to drive him to madness!!

As he waited for help to arrive, he smiled at the thought of Jenny, she reminded him of a long distant friend of his that he lost.
