The Loner - Background Story (Humanity Achievement) (part-2)

Starting from the third year, humanity had bet their effort on the research of monsters materials and as well as gates and type of monsters. Most of this research data is recorded at the World Hunter Association Tower (WHAT) at the center of the Longan City(rebuilt).

By the cooperation of the world nations' effort, each nation that survived "WWPO" world-wide portal outbreak had joined hands in order to create the hunter library system. A knowledge network which is also opened for normal human beings with another version "Monster Library" in order to preserve the knowledge that the past generation traded with their lives and to become more knowledgeable about the monsters. Each digital devices is already connect to the Monster library system, each individual can find the detail of each monster that humanity had faced during the last 6 years.

Name - Forest Slime - A type of single core organism which is made up of acidic like liquid, it consumes some plants and grass. It is harmless to normal human being. It can be found only in the gate with other type of dangerous monsters. Its inner core is used for make medicine with other ingredients and its mucus has compound that is good for the skin. That's why most people used its mucus with other ingredient like aloe or rose essence as skin care. Of course, it is otherworldly product so it is expensive but its can repair and brighten the skin in a couple days of using naturally without any side effect.

Name - Red Slime - This type of slime is considered dangerous to human lives. They are mostly found in the gate as well but on the rocky area with high concentration of lime and other elements. Their mucus has acidic properties, touching with normal hand means you might lose your fingers. They consumed lime and other compounds within their bodies. They consumes the lime and then radiate the red or orange light. Their inner core are excellent raw materials to make fuel cell and most industries used their mucus to filter the fuel or mix with other organic waste to make bio fuel.

Name - Blue Slime - This type of slime is very dangerous and considered hostile towards livings. They mainly consumed on the corpses of small to large animal, as their mucus the strongest base properties which can melt a flesh structure in a quarter of a min. They also hunted the living things in group and they causes heavy environmental damage everywhere they go. Their inner cores have radiation properties and they are toxic to human lives. Their mucus is mainly used in chemical industry and their inner core is the excellent material in the processing nuclear waste according to the late research.

Name - Metal Slime - As the name suggest, this type is slime has very high inner heat that it can melt metal slowly by gathering them around their inner core. Their inner core radiated heat enough to melt an aluminum alloy melts and other few type of metal. They can be found inside the gate when the volcano like structures exist with very high surround temperature. Their core is excellent material for possible electricity producing methods while their mucus is used in the space shuttle because they have extreme thermal insulation properties.

Name - Crystal Slime - They are very rare and they can be very dangerous towards human as well. We also named it as "Electro Slime" as they emit over 5000 volts of electricity upon sensing danger. They consumed mainly crystal like material and sometimes small lowest grade magi stones as their main sources. They are not hostile as long as you don't make them think of use as a possible danger. Most of the them are captured for the electricity producing facilities without being exterminated because they are excellent and efficient way of producing electricity environmental friendly. Of course, they can only be found inside the gate.

Name - Giant Mantis - They are mantis of large size typically ranging from 5 feet to 6 feet. They are predator of everything, they hands can chop down a small size tree in an instant, they typically hunt in group and that makes them extremely dangerous. They live inside the dungeon, upon dying, they corpse decomposed quickly leaving only a low grade magi stone and sometimes other unknow drops.

Name - Blood Mantis - They are mantis of large size but crazier and more aggressive than giant mantis. Their sizes range from 6 feet and above, they are enormous and they body is covered with red scales which cannot be cut down with the most sharpest knife in the world, their hands and metal like cutting edge which can cut a big tree easily and from the record, they cut down the a large size car in half with a single slash. Their blood are green and it contains mutated genes which can increase human immune system, now the researchers are saying the blood might actually be the possibly element in cure cancer naturally. Its other body parts are used to make daily accessories. They can be only found inside the gate.

Name - Green Mantis - They mostly can be found inside the forest type dungeon. They can blend into the nature very well and they attacked their prey mainly by targeting the head of the prey. They also have hands sharp enough to cut a living head easily. They consume everything be it plants or animals. They are quite big ranging form 3 feet to 5 feet in height. They live in groups as well, and they are pretty hostile against living creatures. Upon dying, they drops a bottle of 250ml of regeneration potion (health potion), which upon consuming, you can regain you stamina, your fatigue will be gone, small and medium cuts and wounds will be repaired after one night sleep.

Name - Toxic mushroom - They are plant like monster, mutated plants which have ability to emit toxic gases when their prey is near their main host. They are parasitic and when the victim died because of toxic gases near their host plant, they emit spore to further consume the corpse body's as a nutrient for the new seeding. They target every living organisms and but when the temperature is very high or on the sunny day, they aren't active while they only active at night or moist weather condition. They can found inside the gate as well. Their essence is one of the ingredient to produce dream elixir for magi sickness. Sometimes, a magic stone is found inside the plant core as some monsters might have fallen into their hands. Magic stone quality can be ranged from lowest to middle grade one depending on the luck.

Name - Blood Sucking Vine - They are plant like monsters as well, they trapped their prey with confusing look of their vine. When the prey is inside their trap, the vine emits sweet fragrance which can confuse one mind to be in a state of hallucination. Normally, the victims lost their sense of direction and they kept going around and around ending up in the same place and when the vine thinks that the prey is exhausted, he attacked by wrapping around the prey with his unbreakable vine and slowly secretes chemicals that numb the flesh and then acid. They are active in all condition and can be found inside the gate. Their vine and secreted liquid can be used to produce strong hallucination potions and medicine that can extent one's live span after long time consumption.

Name - Lucky Grass - It is the only plant that doesn't bring any harm towards human species. It was originally form the gate that mostly goblin races are occupied. Goblin races worshipped this grass as their god and whenever they go to large scale hunting or war, the shaman of the race bring the grass with him to give more moral to the soldiers. The grass is said to bring good luck to whoever nears it and it give clean energy to the surroundings, its color is golden during the day and silver at the night. After some goblins that occupied earth had been wiped from earth, the human discovered this grass existence and since then most powerful hunters and families put this grass in this households. Currently, there are only one hundred of this kind on earth.

Name - Bloody Tree - It is the plant from the gates as well. It can't be transferred from the gate so hunters risked their lives into the gate and retrieved it branches, leaves and roots whatever they can. The tree is originally occurred when there is a massive bloodbath battle of different races with different DNA structure. The parts of the tree can be consumed by human to refine their bloodline, which means better health, no genetic diseases and also can make the blood purer even its fragrance is that of a flower. Mostly consumed by celebrities and powerful people and it is more effective towards female, and upon consuming every female can become a whole new person.

Name - Charm Flower - it is the plant from the gates as well. It can't be planted on the earth, and it said to have the effect of charming monsters of some kinds which have intelligence that it can be tamed by a human. Most hunters who want to have some kind of monsters as pet use this. But the success rate are only depend on luck.

Name - Gold Goblin - Unlike it own kind, goblin, gold goblins are very obsessed with things that is priceless whether be it medicine, potion or weapon, jewels. They collected it all, many hunters considered them as lucky pots as they always have something priceless on their hand. They are not powerful but quite troublesome and hard to catch. But mostly they are rare.

Name - Magi golem - Have you ever heard of the word "Golem", a big monster who body is made up of stone. Yep, you are thinking it right. Here, after magi particle appeared, some of the mineral on earth absorbed this particle and become magi stones of middle grade, somehow a golem is born from the magi stones of such grade, as they channel their magi into surround dirt or rock or even ore. They are also aggressive against every thing as they are living mostly individually. They even considered each other as enemies. They are quite big as two stories building and their attacks are powerful even though they are slow. They appeared in the gate and killing one can give you 2 or 3 middle grade magi stones depending on your luck.

Name - Golem Knight - They are not naturally born as they are designed by the entities to test against human race. They can be found inside the dungeon of highest difficulty and they are quite a tricky monster to handle as they are intelligent and master of swordsmanship. Some of them possess abilities and title that compared to that of hunters. Normally, an average golem knight can be considered Rank B hunter. 2 or more rank B hunter is needed to hunt down one golem knight. They are most dangerous with the hunter's death rate highest while raiding and failed to success, they are mostly form the dungeons called "Ruined Castle". And only 23 dungeons of this kind is successfully raided out of 127 in the world. Upon killing one golem knight, a couple of magi stones and random items is dropped but if your luck is good enough, you will get a silver chest which can give a lot of rare and precious items.

Name - War Pig - They are once ridden by the goblin warrior races, which can be said dangerous that it took thousand of hunters on a national level to counter the outbreak of the triple middle class cracks opening in Corea. Each goblin warrior can fight against Rank D hunter on equal terms and in group they can even fight against Rank B hunter. In the triple cracks event, a lot of goblin warrior rushed out from the cracks and hunted the humans and animals, there were hundred of thousand of them, within three days. After goblins were wiped out, the war pig that lost their ridder fall into chaos and now the Corea Government is containing them in the special farm, as their meat is one of the kind and they are better than A level beef. As the numbers is limited, the government didn't permitted the trading but each year, 50 of the war pig is auctioned by the government to open market of different nations or individuals with high price. Each one catching the price of nearly a 100K USD every time. But they are also people or hunters who bought the war pig to make a pet. Upon dying they don't disappear which proves that they are not from the dungeon but a gate.
