Chapter 24 There Really Is A Monster In The Lake

A day has passed since the Dr. Animo incident.

The old vehicle was left next to a large lake. It is a vacation spot with beautiful scenery and sparsely populated.

Early in the morning.

Bryce, who was still asleep, felt his arms sway from side to side, as if someone were shaking him, and woke up from his dream.

His eyes narrowed slightly, looking at the blurred figure in front of him, he could vaguely make out that it was Ben.

"Bryce, get up quick."

When Ben saw Bryce open his eyes, he quickly lowered his voice, "Gwen and I are waiting for you."

"than?"

Bryce yawned lazily and, as he rubbed his eyes, he inexplicably asked, "The sun was upside down, why did you get up so early today?"

"Of course I want to go swimming. It's such a big lake here and the scenery is beautiful. It's so much fun. If grandpa was here, he wouldn't have let us in the water to play," he said eagerly.

Bryce hesitated, his real age past playing age.

But he couldn't bear to see ben and gwen's expectant expressions.

Besides, if you don't go, telling Grandpa is like betraying them both. But if you don't tell Grandpa, what will happen to both of them when they're in danger?

"Forget it, I'll go with you!"

Bryce held his forehead helplessly, sighed, and crawled down from the top bunk.

Bryce saw through ben's thoughts, but she didn't reveal it, she sat on the port and slipped into the water.

Now it's summer and it's hot.

Bryce just stuck his head out of the water and wiped the water off his face with the palms of his hands.

Ben next to him smirked, picked up some water and sprayed it over Bryce's body.

"Okay, ben I know you're bored and I don't want to play this kind of childish game", Bryce was speechless, turning his head to the side and complaining.

Ben sprayed water on him two more times.

As if his male instincts were stimulated, Bryce and Ben began this bloody combat, splashing water and swimming with each other.

Even gwen laughed and joined the game between the two.

It wasn't until the three of them were tired of playing that they all rested in the harbor.

Looking at the lake, Ben was fascinated: "Bryce, nerd, can they swim tens of meters in a few seconds?"

"Ben, you better not do that, you'll get muscle cramps and you'll drown and then I'll have to rescue you like a damsel in distress," Bryce joked.
