Bestie!

After she came inside her apartment she closed the door and leaned her back while sitting on the cold floor, though she went through so much because one man, she hoped for everything to be a dream for she loved that same man who put her through hell, but she knew well that this was not a dream but a reality. "I can't be more dramatic and all heartbroken we don't have time for that do we" as she said she stood up from the cold floor.

'knock knock'

Just as she was about to leave she heard a knock on the door, when she opened it there was no one there but then she noticed her groceries on her doorstep. 'who would be so kind enough to do this hmmm' she thought but brushed it off as she was so hungry. But unbeknown to there was a certain someone who was watching her with a slight smile on their face. After eating so much, Yeona sat in front of her monitor looking for a job that was related to fashion designing if she wants to make 'Yeona's' dream come true she need to start with baby steps, as she was looking through she found one from Diamond Dusk, it seems they were looking for a designer too, as she said out loud "well if this isn't destiny, I don't know what is" without wasting a second she applied for the job then dug out information on the company and was more than happy to do so. Their works are of those high-end ones, seeing their designs Yeona was in love.

Suddenly her phone lit up with a message which she had no idea of who it was from.

... - "hey bestie!"

... - "guess what!? what? what?"

... - "I'm finally returning from abroad (づ￣ 3￣)づ"

Yeona could see the excitement through the texts but the thing was she wasn't sure who it is, hell! she didn't know who on earth was just buzzing her phone up.

... - "are you not happy? ＞︿＜"

... - "do you not love me anymore 'pouts innocently' "

The text made her laugh lightly, 'whoever was on the other side sure knew to entertain people' she thought but was snapped out of her thoughts as her phone rang, it was from the same person, not sure on what to do she hesitantly answered the phone.

"Yeona! how dare you ignore my texts!" she shouted on the other line it made Yeona flinch, 'her voice it umm a little too loud I think', "uh..I... I", "why are you ignoring me huh?" "I swear if were you in my line of sight right now I would have roasted you" "hehe is that a joke or..." "of course not if you don't come and pick me at the airport in 15minutes I will surely do it!" and hung leaving no room for her to talk. Feeling flustered she didn't know what she was supposed to do, but she surely liked the girl for some odd reason she didn't know of.

"Oh my god! I missed you so much, how have you been? how is your mom treating you? did you miss me once at least?" as soon as she spotted her best friend Yeona at the airport Min Yanzi hugged her so tight it's been so long since she last saw. Being flooded with questions Yeona was in shock she didn't even know the person's name in front of her but then a name left her lips before she even realised "Min Yanzi" "yes it is I, your truly" she said playfully "can you let me go now I can't breath" Yeona said "oh oops" Yinzi said as she let her go. "Well....." Yanzi said as she tilt her head sideways facing her best friend who was driving "well? what?" Yeona asked, for some reason, she felt comfortable around her it's like she knew her ages ago but brushed it off thinking it might be 'Yeona's' memories.

"Well, how are things at home? more specifically with that roach of a boyfriend of yours" Yanzi said, she was scared her best friend would be mad or something but to her surprise she heard a laugh coming from her right side, she widened her eyes in shock. "So you are not mad at me for calling that roach a roach?" she asked, Yeona replied as a mischievous smirk formed on her lips "well I don't know should I be?" "don't tell me you ended with him, because if you did I will treat you to a whole buffet" she exclaimed, of course, it would be the best thing of her bestie breaks up with a guy like Hao Jin. "Really? if you insist I shall obey your command" Yeona replied jokingly, her reply only made Yinzi scream in happiness and the rest of the ride was filled with more fun talks.

"Thank you so much for letting me stay with you" Yanzi said for god knows how many times now, she had asked Yeona if she could live with her as she just didn't want to go back home yet, "will you stop it already, I was feeling lonely anyway" she replied as both of them came out of the elevator entering the 17th floor. "Does anyone else live here" Yanzi asked. The hallway seemed so quiet and there were only three apartments on this floor, which was not surprising to Yanzi it was Royal Hills where each floor consisted a certain amount of apartment in each floor, "hm, I'm not sure haven't really seen anyone" Yeona shrugged as they went inside their apartment.

After a few hours of helping Yanzi unpack her things, Yeona knew a lot of things about her she was a talkative person that was for sure. 'Hmm, it feels so nice to have someone to call a best friend' she thought, Yeona hoped for this friendship is not repeating history again as she inhaled deeply while looking out her floor to ceiling window. The city was bustling with so many cars and busy people and the tall buildings stood among them reminding her of a forest but instead of trees it was tall building and instead of grass it was people and the various vehicles on the street almost like a "modern forest" she shrugged as she sat down in front of her sketchbook.
