When Gu Nanyu handed the information to Fu Beichen, he merely took a glimpse at it without doubtful eyes.

"Are you sure you remembered them correctly?"

Gu Nanyu pointed at her temple and replied, "There is something called a brain. Even if you don't seem to possess it, it doesn't mean everyone else is intellectually-challenged as well."

Fu Beichen merely side-eyed her and said, "Remember this."

Pausing for a moment, he tucked the paper with all the peculiar symbols into his pocket. Then, he sat down on the sofa next to them, with one arm resting on the back.

He casually continued, "I will settle the issue with the police this time, including Gu Xiang'an."

He thought that it would make her at ease. Instead, Gu Nanyu answered in a serious manner.

"Leave Gu Xiang'an to me, you can deal with the rest."

This reply was completely out of his calculations.

"Leave him to you?"

"My father's shares are in Gu Ming'an and Gu Xiang'an's hands, while I only have 50 percent of them. Furthermore, I can only use them after I become an adult. If anything happens to Gu Xiang'an, Gu Ming'an will hold all the shares. By then, he would be too powerful for me to deal with." It was not that Gu Nanyu did not want to dispose of Gu Xiang'an.

As he looked into her eyes, he suddenly recalled what Jiang Yishan said in the morning.

As he gazed pensively at her, he straightened up and took a book from the table, before tossing it over to her.

Gu Nanyu flipped the first page open. It was a book of military strategy.

When she read the few words written on it, her brows scrunched up in confusion. However, suddenly, she had an epiphany.

The words clearly stated that "Appearing weak is also a survival skill."

Fu Beichen delightedly stared at Gu Nanyu's face lit up with enlightenment, knowing that she had understood what he was going to say.

Fu Beichen continued, "If you know how to appear weak, success will be at the tip of your finger. Tomorrow, I will let Jiang Yishan send a book called 'The Art of War' to you. There is a tactic called 'watch the fire from across the bank' in it. Go back home and analyze it. The 50 percent of the shares in your hand can ignite a fiery feud for you."

"Are you implying that I should use my 50 percent of the shares to incite animosity between Gu ming'an and Gu Xiang'an? Then, I can just sit idle and reap the benefits after they ruined one another." After seeing the words 'appearing weak,' this idea emerged in her mind.

"Exactly. It seems you aren't completely dumb, after all." Fu Beichen eyed her with absolute satisfaction.

50 percent of Hua Xing Company's shares was not a small number, indeed.
