The tall, strong-looking man then confronted Fu Beichen in a menacing manner the moment he realized that someone had entered the room.

"Who are you? Who allowed you to enter this room..." Just halfway through his words, he let out a shriek. His body then slammed against the wall like a broken kite and fell onto the ground, not being able to move.

Fu Beichen was furious. He bent down to have a look at Gu Nanyu after kicking the man down, unconcerned about his well being.

"Are you able to stand up?" Fu Beichen asked her in a deep voice.

"Yes..." Gu Nanyu supported herself by pressing her palm against the floor surface and stood up.

Subsequently, she could see Fu Beichen stretching out his hand.

Gu Nanyu stunned for about three seconds and went ahead to put her hand into Fu Beichen's palm.

She then rose to her feet with Fu Beichen's help without much effort.

Yet, she felt weak on her legs the moment she stood up and almost fell after exhausting all her strength to strangle the man just now.

He knew those two men were not policemen at first sight.

Fu Beichen looked at Gu Nanyu who was frowning and had cold sweat on her forehead. He could tell that she was enduring the pain.

"Keep the one at the corner alive and detain all those police officers who were involved in this matter. If a single word gets around regarding this matter, your position will be removed!

After Fu Beichen finished talking, he picked Gu Nanyu up and strode out of the police station.

Gu Nanyu was as if an arrow at the end of its flight at that time, not having any strength left at all.

The pajamas that Fu Beichen wore had a unique smell like his previous life.
