Ling Xiuqi watched them enter the room and pulled Gu Nanyu away without a word.

He stood up instantly and in a low voice, he shouted, "What are you trying to do!"

However, Ling Xiuqi's words had no impact on their actions.

Meanwhile, Gu Nanyu was experiencing chills from the pain on her lower abdomen, not having any energy to struggle at all.

Just when Ling Xiuqi wanted to step forward to block them, he was warded off by one of the men, and the door was then locked.

"Let me out! What are you trying to do? I demand to see the director!" Ling Xiuqi was eager to get his hands on those two men but he was locked in and was unable to get out.

That moment, Ling Xiuqi noticed that part of the jeans in between Gu Nanyu's legs was already stained with blood.

Ling Xiuqi felt a tight knot in his heart, thinking that Gu Nanyu must have been hurt from the fight today looking at how pale and sweaty he was!

"Let go of him, he's hurt!" Ling Xiuqi bellowed.

However, his shoutings were completely useless. Those two men had already taken Gu Nanyu out of his sight.

Fu Beichen held a meeting tonight to discuss the reason behind the last failed mission.

The meeting ended rather late this time.

"Alright." Fu Beichen responded lightly. Gu Xize was suffering from severe autism. He would not communicate with anyone else besides his family.

Fu Beichen then recalled how Gu Nanyu used to care for Gu Xize. It was impossible for Gu Nanyu to not care for Gu Xize who was ill.

"What about Gu Nanyu?" Fu Beichen frowned as he asked.

"She was not seen today, Minister," Jiang Yishan replied to Fu Beichen's question.

Fu Beichen frowned slightly deeper.

He was not familiar with Gu Nanyu, yet, he knew that family was always Gu Nanyu's first priority.

Given that Gu Xize was alone in hospital along with the fact that he had autism, it was impossible for Gu Nanyu to leave him alone.

Something must have happened to Gu Nanyu. That was why she was unable to make it.

"Go investigate."

"Yes."

Gu Nanyu was brought into a room at the end of the corridor after being taken out by those two men.

They pushed Gu Nanyu into the room as soon as they reached the doorway.

Gu Nanyu got the idea that this was probably the 'secret room' after she saw the place.

Certain measures would be implemented here against disobedient criminals.

However, these measures could not be exposed, so there were no surveillance cameras in this area.

Gu Nanyu was pushed down onto the floor. Her face was pale and cold sweats continue dripping from her forehead.

The two men locked the door from the outside after they entered the room.
