Gu Xize was placed next to Fu Hongtao's ward. However, Fu Hongtao was sound asleep then.

Fu Hongtao was oblivious to the situation outside, and Fu Beichen did not bother him with it. Instead, he immediately made arrangements for Gu Xize, having a specialist doctor and nurse to watch over him.

Fu Beichen did not pressure Gu Nanyu to reveal the information about the contents of the flash drive. Instead, he ordered Jiang Yishan to send her to school after bringing her to visit Gu Xize.

While Jiang Yishan was driving, he peeked through the rearview mirror to check on the two VIPs in the back seats.

Not a single word had been exchanged between the two ever since they entered the car.

Gu Nanyu became anxious when they were about to reach her school. Fu Beichen wanted the contents in the flash drive, but he had not asked for it as yet. She had no idea at all what was going through his mind.

Soon, the school was just in front of them. Fu Beichen's white Humvee was eye-catching as there were red words on the car. At the present moment, Gu Nanyu had no intention of using Fu Beichen to create rumors yet. Hence, she called out to the chauffeur when they reached the nearest intersection to the school.

"Just stop here."

Seeing that the car was still moving, Gu Nanyu could not help but raise her voice to shout, "Stop here."

Gu Nanyu merely looked at Fu Beichen. He's always so straightforward and blunt.

This was indeed the main reason why Gu Nanyu tried to approach Fu Beichen in the first place. She wanted to find out the truth.

Fu Beichen opened his mouth to break the silence between them, saying,

"Why don't think about it? You can either choose to hand over all the information so that I can investigate with you, or you can choose to hide the information from me. You decide."

After saying that, Fu Beichen wound up the window and the car drove off, leaving Gu Nanyu standing alone by the roadside.

She had had a million and one unanswered questions ever since she was reborn.

For instance, why did Fu Beichen imprison her in the past life?

If it was simply because of that night in the hotel, Fu Beichen should not have treated her with that kind of attitude.
