Chapter 14 - I Am Your F*cking Uncle
Madam Ling's eyes were wide in bewilderment upon hearing Fu Beichen's words.
How on earth is Gu Nanyu related to Fu Beichen?
In fact, everyone in the room was having the same thought as Madam Ling.
Who is Fu Beichen?
And who is Gu Nanyu?
There's literally a world of difference between both of them.
They are not at all comparable.
"Of course I'm not talking about you, Beichen. The Fu family and the Gu family are definitely not the same." Madam Ling, at this moment, had put away her stony and stern expression.

"The Gu family and the Ling family only have business dealings. The reason that the Gu family is able to attend today is because of our joint venture in a drama shooting later on. "But, the Fu family and the Gu family are in-laws," Fu Beichen continued.

It was then that the personal assistant beside Fu Beichen spoke, "18 years ago, Miss Fu Xingchen had a dispute with Old Minister and she ran away from home. She was later married to the eldest son of the Gu family. Our minister only knew about this a few days ago."
Gu Nanyu heard him out before starting to ponder over his explanation.
The eldest daughter of the Fu family was Fu Beichen's sister.
His sister ran away from home and then married the eldest son of the Gu family. That's why Fu Beichen said that the Fu family and the Gu family are in-laws.

Gu Nanyu snapped out of her thoughts and instantly jumped up from the sofa.
Pointing at Fu Beichen, her heart was now in turmoil. The calm look on her face was long gone, even her fingers were shaking slightly.
"You...What did you just say? Come again!"
Fu Beichen looked at the way Gu Nanyu reacted, and the corner of his lips lifted a little.
"I said, I am your uncle."
Fu Bei Chen was tongue-tied. Holy sh*t! I'm your f*cking uncle!
This world was really full of fantasy!
