7. Xu Xuxing's Cuteness

After Tian Ye and the rest finished cooking, Tian Ye got himself two bowls of the soup they made. As it was easiest to make soup for a large number of people they often made it, every chef made the same soup they all pored what they had made into one very giant bowl so it would taste the same for everyone and it was also easier to keep hot with just one fire needed.

But before that happened Tian Ye took the bowls he grabbed and scooped some of his soup for himself and Xu Xuxing. Tian Ye grabbed her tiny hands and stuffed the bowl in between them not caring for what she was about to say, he then placed his bowl on the counter where he cooked and then Carried his pot to the enormous one a little distance away.

Xu Xuxing carefully looked at the bowl in her hands, the soup that Tian Ye made, the look and smelled like something out of this world, just a whiff of the fragrance made her mouth water and her belly empty. Luckily the fragrance was light and would not travel more than a meter or so, so almost no one noticed it or there would have been many people pouncing on Tian Ye for some of his soup.

She took a little sip of it and instantly fell in love with it, even though it was piping hot it was also insanely refreshing, she wanted to gulp it down it one swoop but it was still very hot so she had to blow on it for a while. Other people saw what she was doing and were confused, why is she so obsessed over it?

One of the aunts came over and warned her. "Sweety, don't down it so fast, it is still very hot and you should enjoy it slowly."

Xu Xuxing paid little head to the aunty and continued to drink it like a mummy who just came back to life, the auntie who came over to warn her out of worry just shook her head and left. 'Whatever, it's just soup, what is so special about it?'

After Xu Xuxing greedily finished the bowl of soup that Tian Ye gave her and then hesitantly looked at the bowl of the soup that was unguarded on the counter.

When Tian Ye came back to his spot he noticed that the bowl of soup that he reserved himself was not there. He looked suspiciously at the little girl that suddenly grown a little brown mustache, he just shook his head, "Naughty little girl…"

Xu Xuxing looked a little guilty when he said that, "But uncle, it was soo good…" She somehow got shy from admitting that.

"You still did a bad thing, so what do you want to do to repay your starving uncle here?" Tian Ye said in a slightly reprimanding tone but he was not angry at all.

The little girl looked around at what she to make it up to the kind uncle, she looked around for a bit and then an idea hit her, she suddenly ran off. She got a bowl and cued up for the soup, there were many people who saw that and let the cute girl go first but she refused and waited patiently.

Jin Wenxue who was watching this was surprised, the little girl acted so closely who she had just met. Xu Xuxing was not a shy girl but she did not get very close to others, it took her almost two years to get as far as she could with Xu Xuxing but this man showed up out of nowhere and was somehow very intimate with her. Jin Wenxue was not very jealous of the man as she wanted Xu Xuxing to interact with more people. (hahhhhhh… I'm having a hard time writing this… it seems… so stiff.)

When she finally got to the very large pot she climbed up a ladder made just for the little kids and scooped up some soup and then carefully walked back to Tian Ye. Tian Ye smiled once he saw this, she was even cuter than when he had originally met her.

Once she cutely handed the bowl to Tian Ye he held it in one hand and patted her head with the other, she seemed to be really enjoying it and somehow got carried away as once he carried his hand away she had a blank look on her face which was absolutely adorable.

Tian Ye drank the soup that she had handed him and it was… ok from his standards, the soup he made was amazing but once it had been diluted by others, the taste died down by a large margin but it still had a similar refreshing feel. Due to that others had started discussing how much better the soup was today, not many people were attracted to Tian Ye's show so they did not know how good he cooked so he had gone by unnoticed.
