Chapter 14

I walked out the room in and headed towards the storage room. I put on some gloves a mask and grabbed few more bottles of potassium chloride placing them in inside my pocket before picking up a random chart there. I then walked out towards his room. I opened the door, and noticed his room was empty, I closed it before walking towards his bed. I took his paperwork by the door adding it to the roster and then placing it by his bed. He was still unconscious, so I quickly took out the bottles then needles.

I transferred the liquid into the surging before injecting it into the IV bag through the injection port. I did that a few more time till both bottles were empty. Then I placed the bottles and needle back into my pocket before cleaning up the IV with an alcohol whip, and then walking out of there.

I walked back to the other room to see Kyle was busy on the computer. I asked him, "Did something happen?" He shook his head saying, "Nothing's wrong with the cameras, you done?" I nodded walking inside the restroom changing back into the old outfit before placing everything inside a plastic bag. I walked took the gloved off after putting the wig away and then cleaned my hands before placing the stain ones on. I walked out noticing Marcus had returned with a bag of food.

I took the food out before placing the evidence inside the bag than placing some of the food wrappers on top asking Kyle, "Kyle, how are you feeling?" He shrugged and I nodded saying, "Keep an eye on the injury, let us know if you feel worse."

I spoke to him, but he could tell I wasn't talking about his own leg as he nods saying, "Thank you to you two love birds for visiting me today." Marcus smiled saying, "Anything for my best friend, bye bud rest up." He nods as we gather our things and walk out closing the door softly. I placed my arms around Marcus's hand, and he held a kind smile as we walked out together.

"So how did it go?" he asked as he drove away and I looked outside saying, "I put 5 bottles worth of it in his IV bag so he should pass slowly. I think by midnight he will be done for." He nods asking, "You want me to burn these?" It was the evidence and I nodded saying, "Of course."

"How are you going to explain about work?" he asked, and I sighed getting into the back seat. I started changing before I said, "I had someone check in for me today, and I will be covering her night shift, so the manger doesn't care." He nods asking, "Where do you want me to drop you?" I looked outside noticing the familiar road saying, "Just drop me a few blocks away." He nods as he pulls into an abandoned alleyway. "Thanks, Marucs," I said walking out with my stuff and I sighed letting my hair out. I had to switch between two different wigs, so my hair wasn't being nice.

I played with my hair till I got to work where I tide it up and started. It seems no one noticed since most of them female employees here look the same. I sighed as I grab another order and I moved tables to see a familiar face. "Nyx, you free tonight?" Elliot asked as I walked towards his table. I shook my head gently saying, "Not tonight, I am covering a shift for a friend, so are we ready to order?"
