Ch.44

I got my solar tech patented and went to Vegas with the girls where I broke the Casinos, fought several alphas tied to them and made half a billion in cash along with a free Maserati. I gave it to Isaac when we returned to Beacon Hills along with the upgrades to all the vehicles so they ran on solar power. Aiden went to see his brother over the summer and had fun in London. Boyd helped sheriff Stilinski in cases while Isaac found a girlfriend in Tracey Stewart, a potential Chimera.

They made like bunnies all summer and were very happy. Isaac and Boyd had become true alphas with my guidance and nearly every shifter in my pack, Aiden included, had become evolved enough to turn fully into wolves. Lydia called it cute and so did Allison until they saw my wolf mount Malia on a full moon. It was less cute and more weird after that.

I shrugged afterwards while Malia was satisfied and very friendly afterwards, telling them I'd let the wolf have control and gave way to the animal mind. I told them they'd likely have gotten the same treatment had they been close when it finished. Lydia said she'd pass because of the claws and Allison said it was the animal that was weird.

I shrugged and Malia rubbed up against me while we dressed. We'd left the next day for Vegas and stayed gone a full month, heading across the globe to Casinos all over where we'd become a bit famous for taking the bank as it were. From poker to blackjack and slot machines, we never lost and I never needed to cheat, not really anyways. We slept in the best beds, ate the best foods and fucked on every continent on earth except the poles.

We'd all joined the mile high club in a private jet I bought and upgraded before having patented. I bought land all over America where I struck oil and natural gas, getting richer as we went. I'd soon turned the half a billion into a full ten billion dollars in cash. I'd soon become a very rich man and that was only the beginning.

On the flip side, when we returned to Beacon Hills, it'd been quiet mostly beyond the human stuff. Parrish had been told what he was and the hellhound's power was revealed to him, Boyd and the sheriff brought down a lot of bad guys and cleared cases like they were child's play and the only hiccup came when Liam ran through the streets naked as a dog boy from the police calls.

Scott and Stiles dealt with that so he was fine. We all made it, Aiden included, for senior scribe. I was driving uncomfortably because I'd gotten new piercings to please my lovers and even healed, I wasn't used to them yet. When we arrived for senior scribe, I heard something and Liam stopped thanks to Malia and Boyd. He said Scott was in trouble so we went to check it out and I tore the glowing harpy eagle talon like claws off the chimera that tried to use them on me.

All five claws were mine so I broke his arms and told him to fuck off or I'd drop his ass with enough Kanima venom to make him a paraplegic for life. He fled and I turned to the fake wolf that came pretending to be a friend of Scott's. Malia said he smelled weird and I told her while the others were listening. "That's because he's part werecoyote, yet he smells human as well like an experimental human engineered hybrid instead of a true werewolf and coyote hybrid. He also smells like a murderer. The scent of blood and the perverse smell of psychosis put him at Peter's level of crazy."

He growled at me and I snorted. "Try and scare trick or treaters asshole, I don't fool easily and I'm not interested in whatever schemes you have cooked up. Touch my pack or try and come near them and I'll rip out your throat with my teeth, end of story. Unlike you, I'll admit I'm a killer."

I grabbed the talons and grunted. "The power to steal any power from others and he wastes it on coming after a true alpha."

Isaac and Boyd laughed while their eyes went red. I put them away in a bag and told Scott and Stiles. "Be careful, he'll play games with you, trick you and break you and Liam apart to try and get Liam to steal your power so he can steal it. Only a beta made from a true alpha can steal a true alpha's power. He'd kill Liam after Liam kills your if he can. That's all the advice I'm giving you because I warned you about Peter and I'm not wasting my breath on this kid."

Scott nodded slowly and we left. We did senior scribe and I held Allison when she said she felt odd doing it. I told her that it wasn't anything, but I held her nonetheless and kissed her neck. Once it was over, I gave everyone of my pack necklaces and rings.

They asked why they hummed and I told them they'd understand later. I told them they were protections against assholes who use things similar to a hunter's corralling beacon only with more frequency tech. Allison and Lydia both had them as well and they didn't complain. Lydia just asked if it was more trouble I saw coming before anyone and I nodded.

My pack happily accepted them and I told them never to take them off at any time this school year. I saw Deaton the next day and told him about the power of the claws. I told him what Theo and the guy that had the claws smelled like and told him I suspected the Dread Doctors might be in town. I told him my pack was protected with amulets and rings I placed a frequency modulating jamming device with a kinetic frequency discharge in so their power was useless on them.

I took out a case and opened it, showing him all the rings and necklaces in there. "Consider it a gift. I've sent a ring to Chris and I have more. I'm not exactly friends with Scott, but he asks enough favors so I didn't feel right giving him advanced tech that can stop bullets or render radio signals useless. I figured I'd owed you enough to make a pit stop and give a gift. After all, Marin has agreed to be my emissary because of you."

He sighed. "Very well. Scott should be in soon so I think I can deal with the rest."

I nodded and removed a tray, showing him the device below in the case. "This is a building size jammer. It won't cover the school, but a small building like your clinic shouldn't be a problem. Just flip this switch and it'll disable their frequency tech within ten yards of this place."

He nodded and I left with the claws, telling him Malia would use them to take Corrine's power for good and end the sociopathic bitch's slaughtering streak. I left and headed to school to meet up with the others. Isaac introduced me to Tracey and I smelled how off she was. I had him bring her with us to an empty classroom.

I told her that her nightmares weren't fake before giving her a necklace and clawing her neck. I helped her see everything before asking her if she'd like me to make it stop. She said yes so I bit her and bandages the wound. I told her about the supernatural and that once the bite changes her, she'd no longer be dying. She threw up black and silver mercury with feathers in the chemistry sink.

I told the others about the Dread Doctors and how they were making ordinary people into were creature chimeras without actually turning them so they were immune to things like mountain ash and wolfsbane. I told them Tracey trusted me so much because she was part wolf and part Kanima. Isaac held her and I told them there was no danger of her dying because the genetic manipulation the doctors did added Kanima and werewolf genes to her DNA so it'd be like biting and turning a human born of a werewolf and another human.

Allison said it was possible because the Hales were known to have human children. I nodded and comforted Tracey, telling her. "Isaac will stay with you and the necklaces will keep you safe and from hallucinating. Their frequency is interrupted. Just take a day and let Isaac teach you control alright?"

She nodded and rinsed out her mouth before I turned to the others and told them to be careful of Theo Raeken because he wasn't clueless. He knew about the dread doctors or he wouldn't be trying to worm his way into Scott's pack. Lydia, Malia and I went to our one class we had this year, AP biology. Isaac and Tracey took it easy for the day like I suggested and since Boyd was still seeing drunk girl and the girls she hooks up with, I saw no need to step into his personal life.

All of my pack, alphas or not, were doing well. Tracey would be my first true beta, but she'd have died if I hadn't bit her so I didn't see an issue. I texted Chris to tell Araya what I'd done and why as well as what the Dread Doctors were doing to kids. Allison forwarded the information to Scott so he and his pack knew all about the Dread Doctors and what I suspected of Theo.

I told Malia during lunch what the talons could do for her and that it was nearly time. I told her we'd deal with her mother on the next full moon so she can take all the power and become whole. Boyd helped Liam out himself to his best friend as a werewolf.

As for Tracey and Isaac, they called later that night when the Dread Doctors came and left because they couldn't control Tracey. Isaac tried attacking and found they could defend themselves even if they couldn't hurt him or Tracey. Tracey accidentally clawed Isaac with venom and babied him for an hour which I found hilarious. Two days later a prison transport vehicle was attacked and while the humans survived knocked out, the prisoner escaped.

Boyd and the rest helped tracked him down while Lydia, Allison and I helped teach Malia to drive her new car away from crime scenes. Donovan, the guy that was caught again, was back in the precinct jail while his lawyer was working on getting him transferred to county when the Dread Doctors freed him. The next day I taught Tracey how to control her Kanima tail. I worked with her in her mind on control as my Kanima claws were the only thing that could pierce her skin easily.

Isaac practiced with her in werewolf claw mode and helped her learn better control. I spent a lot of my time helping Isaac teach her when I wasn't getting ready to launch my own company and satellites or doing online college courses. When I wasn't doing all that, I was helping Parrish with his own control and identity issues. Malia pulled me away from all that with Allison and Lydia saying I needed a break one night so we headed to a club called Sinema.

There we met Hayden, a sixteen year old serving girl with three hundred bucks of drinks on a waiting tray. I gave her four grand and told her to keep the drinks coming which she happily did for that kind of money. Malia, Lydia and Allison pulled me into dancing after we finished about half the drinks, mostly between Malia and I. The bartender sent over some ecstasy as a party favor with all the drinks I purchased.

We only stopped dancing and drinking when Liam showed up and knocked over one of the trays coming to our table. I told Hayden not to mind it and gave her an extra three hundred before telling her to keep all the change since we were headed home to continue the party in bed. I gave Liam a grand and told him to stop being clumsy, sit and finish the drinks on the table for us. He agreed and apologized to Hayden once more.

She told him it didn't matter now before thanking us. Lydia told her that if she doesn't want Liam, she could come join us in bed because I was an excellent lover and they each had their kinks. Hayden blushed and I grunted, pulling Lydia away. She was drunk while high on ecstasy with us and very horny.

I patted Liam's shoulder and left while Malia gave Hayden our address and her phone number. Once we were outside, Lydia said we needed to get back inside so I sighed and we followed her to a fight that started between a beta werewolf from Satomi's pack and a werewolf/girtablilu, a scorpion shifter. I knocked out the scorpion guy that Mason, Liam's best friend, said was named Lucas. Scott and Liam arrived and when an arrow came from out of nowhere, I caught it before the Dread Doctors could kill the guy.

Growling, I told them he was no longer their concern, but if they attacked again, I'd make it my concern to end them here and now. They saw my Kanima tail come out and my alpha eyes before calling me a success of nature. I released the arrow and they said he was no longer their concern. I carried Lucas out to the car where I woke him up with my claws in his neck and our minds connected.

I filled him in and told him that he could join my pack or I could leave him to die because of the mercury. Scott said the bite could kill him and I told him no, it couldn't. I told Lucas that him being genetically altered to be part werewolf meant it would take much more smoothly than any normal turns. I told him he could join my pack, learn control and even learn to fully shift into a wolf along with keeping and controlling his stingers.

I offered him my hand and a choice to join me or I'd leave him to die of the mercury poison in his system killing him because modern medicine couldn't fix him. He chose to live and I bit him before giving him a ring and telling him the Dread Doctors couldn't mess with his head or touch him while it was on. He thanked me before puking up all the mercury in his system on the parking lot.

I patted his shoulder and told him to let it out because the bite was forcing the dangerous toxins that didn't belong out. I tossed my keys to Scott and told him to drive the car while I take his bike and follow to my place. Liam and Mason followed and Mason was psyched because he'd heard about my mansion where badass parties broke out and he'd only been once during a lame freshman party.

I spent half the night by Lucas's side while he slept through the change in a fitful state. Lydia called it a wolf thing because I seemed incapable of leaving those in my pack alone when they were in pain or scared. The next day Tracey showed everyone the book and I noticed Kira's aura had grown too strong for her. I called her mother and told her what was happening to her before telling her about the Dread Doctors.

I told Kira she needed to speak with her father before telling her to read the book copy of the Dread Doctors backwards because it was a mental trick and the kitsune in her would just get confused reading it regularly. I told Scott and everyone what the Dread Doctors clearly did to boost Kira's power and bringing her into Eichan house which is a supernatural prison, would break the telluric current energy keeping the monsters in and the few like the Dread Doctors, out.

Scott said Theo showed him the doctor's name in the book and I told him he was planning and working with the Dread Doctors then because Dr. Gabriel Valack was a former Dread Doctor hunter and they may want him removed because his third eye can see passed their shtick. I told them I don't know his full story, but I do know he wrote the book and has one of their masks in a hidden sub basement of Eichan house where he used to work before he was caught experimenting on patients and himself, hence the third eye that drives people insane seeing it.

I spent the rest of the day after class training Lucas and helping him understand his power with Tracey. Kira got help from her mother and they had to leave town for a while. The Dread Doctors failed to enter Eichan house and Lydia went with Stiles where they learned I was responsible for the Dread Doctors returning to town by giving power to the nemeton by sacrificing thousands of creatures and one human.

Lydia already knew most of it along with my plans for the future, but she was surprised to hear about the human and the number of creatures I killed. Stiles laid the blame on me and said everything was my fault as soon as they returned from their trip and faced me on my lawn. Scott asked if it was true and I shrugged. "Partially, but not entirely accurate. See, I knew something was going to happen to give power back to the nemeton. Jennifer made sure of that when she started sacrificing people."

I sat on the tailgate of my truck and sighed. "I'd no idea you three would be sacrificed, but I knew it would get it's power back somehow because you don't fuck with something like a nemeton and just take it's power. The world will always have a balance, so I decided that since the beacon would be lit, I'd use it's power to protect the humans of beacon hills from the supernatural. I used an old Druidic ritual and channeled the power I gave to the nemeton into a sort of protection net over Beacon Hills. Haven't you wondered why there haven't been a lot of supernaturals murdering humans in town lately?"

I looked to Stiles and grunted. "So I sacrificed a lot of creatures, none of which were remotely human."

I stood up and pointed a finger into Stiles's chest. "Not even the last one Valack claims was one. He wasn't-"

I clenched my fists before sighing. "Of all the creatures you've learned of, of all the beings you've seen, you've never come close to the thing I sacrificed that regrew the Nemeton and sparked and inferno of power into the telluric currents, protecting this town."

I turned to Scott. "He may have looked human, but he was no more than a shell, hiding the visage of a being so powerful if it were released, it would've wiped half the western seaboard clean for a laugh. Trust me when I say that power that fed and regrew the nemeton wasn't anything remotely human. It had more in common with the Nogitsune than it did with anything that lives on earth."

Liam asked. "Well, what was it then?"

I grimaced and knew they'd know if I was lying so I looked to him. "I won't say what, but I will say it was older than the human species on earth and more powerful than anything we could've ever hoped to face and survive. The only reason I managed to sacrifice it was because it's shell was a brain dead human corpse it couldn't control anymore. It was trapped and I took advantage of that fact before it could free itself and kill us all. It's killed more humans than any single disease or war known to man and it did so while covering it's tracks as those wars and diseases."

I looked to my pack and then to Scott and told him. "I won't apologize for killing that thing or casting the net. The beacon was bound to be lit and this town needed someone to protect it. Even if the net only makes it hard for supernaturals to kill humans, it's doing more than any pack or law enforcement office can do."

I turned to Stiles. "And don't assume because I don't tell you anything that I'm automatically the bad guy. I've never done anything to any innocent person out of personal malice in my entire life. I may be a killer Stiles, but I'm not your enemy, so suck it up and leave because we're done here. I've saved your ass time and again so unless you've come to tell me something helpful, I think it's time you and Scott stop treating me like I owe you the world. You may be friends with some of my pack, but we aren't friends and I don't owe you jack."

Scott asked. "Wait, if the net stops supernaturals from killing humans, how are the Dread Doctors doing it?"

I grunted. "The Dread Doctors are human. Despite their appearance and advanced age, they aren't supernatural. They just use supernatural means to maintain themselves. It's human on human violence and not something the nemeton's power can stop no matter what focus it has. They were here before and I'm sure they have a lab still, but they moved on when they failed last time."

I leaned against my truck and sighed. "They have labs all over the world no doubt where they constantly experiment to try and create whatever it is they're searching for. Don't ask me, I'm not a crystal ball. Besides, Theo was from here and since he seems to be their first successful chimera that isn't dying from mercury, odds are they would've come back sooner or later without the nemeton. They're human after all and while the nemeton makes it easier for their frequency crap, they don't need it to maintain themselves or do their work. Otherwise they'd only stick close to other nemetons around the world and not have bothered coming back at all."

I turned to Stiles. "I'm not to blame for their shit. They're human like you, just two hundred and fifty years old give or take. Their leader, they call him the surgeon, his human name is Marcel. He was the best friend of Sebastian Valet."

Allison covered her mouth and I looked to her immediately and nodded. "Yes, that Sebastian. For those of you who don't know, the most famous werewolf in history was La Bete Du Gévaudan or the beast of Gévaudan if you prefer. He was brought down by his sister and his human name was stricken from the history books by the hunters. All records and proofs of his human existence was wiped away in a Roman practice called Damnatio Memoriae, literally meaning damnation of memories."

I sat back down and continued when they remained quiet. "Sebastian Valet was his real name and he was the brother of one of Allison's distant ancestors and the same woman who killed him with a silver pike made of mistletoe, rowan wood and wolfsbane. The silver blade had the ingredients beaten into it for good measure and with it, one woman killed history's most prolific serial killer with more than five hundred victims on his real kill found, perhaps even more."

I looked to the disturbed packs. "Marcel worshipped the supernatural for it's power and ferocity so he gathered more likeminded individuals and made themselves a pseudo immortality of sorts. I don't know their full goals and k can only guess at what they hope to accomplish with making chimeras, but the best we can do until we know more is try to save as many as possible."

I turned to Scott. "What I said the other night to the doctors about being able to fight them, it wasn't entirely a bluff, but the odds of us winning against their power even with the tech in the rings and necklaces is very low. I've come to learn that it was Marcel who took the pike and not the Argents so his cane is the melted down remains of a weapon that can kill any supernatural I've ever heard of."

I got up and sighed. "That's why I've been hesitant to act. I don't fear dying by their hands, far from it. But I do fear what will become of my pack and friends if I die in a pointless fight with no real weapon that can harm them."

I held up my ring. "These are only shields and even the larger ones in the house only dampen their power outside of themselves. Their suits give them power equal to a werewolf and damn near immunity to anything that could hurt them. We have nothing to kill them with and no way to stop them for now. So yes, I bide my time, saving those I can from sadistic humans with Nazi level fascinations with genetic experimentation."

I growled low and turned to Liam and Scott's small pack. "And I'm teaching my pack as fast as I can. Now that I've answered all the questions I don't really owe any of you answers for, leave. I'm done talking and you have nothing I want so buzz off."

I turned and went inside while my pack followed. Inside I told them that I hadn't said everything to them before because the Dread Doctors have ways of extracting such information and even with the protections we have, one slip up could find us all killed. A week later eight more holes were found on the lacrosse practice field no less. Lucas and Tracey were well integrated into the pack now so they were fine and trained enough not to go crazy on full moons.

Isaac trained Tracey himself more while Boyd helped and took Lucas under his wing, seeing the stress I was under and the decisions I had to make as their alpha of alphas. Aiden achieved his true alpha status after a long and hard reflection inwards and the help of his brother who flew in for a couple days. Ethan himself had achieved the evolved wolf status while still working on himself as well, though he was having an easier time of it.

As for Jackson, he had barely achieved full control of himself. His own issues were a major bump in the road that could take him a lifetime to achieve. Aiden was aggressive to outsiders, but calm to the pack and supported me absolutely. Surprisingly, he didn't chafe under my status as his alpha, none of them did except the newbies and only a little.

I was just too caring and well respected from them and their appreciation of me was bone deep from what I could tell. The only thing any of them regretted was not having joined me earlier when I offered each of them the chance. The next to join the pack was Josh Diaz, an electric eel and werewolf chimera. We found him eating power lines on top of the hospital and after an agonizing jolt, I'd pinned him down and helped him settle his mind.

When he knew he was going to die, he agreed and ended up spewing mercury and eels all over the rooftop. He retained the power electromagnetokinesis, the ability to siphon, create and manipulate electricity, magnetism and magnetic fields. He had the power to sense electrical and electromagnetic forces around him as well, but he needed to feed on electricity to maintain his power. A day in, I showed him how to safely feed and unfortunately he lost all reason and common sense.

He attacked the pack in the mansion and tried to kill us all. I was forced to use the Garuda claws to kill him, draining his pain, power and life, adding it to my own. I wept over his body and Isaac told those watching that he'd heard from Cora that losing a beta wasn't like losing a friend, it was deeper, like losing a limb even with how short of a time I'd known him. I buried Josh under a spiral of wolfsbane on the edge of the property and was inconsolable for the next few days.

The pain I felt was worse than losing a limb, I should know. It was Boyd, Aiden and Isaac that pulled me out of it, understanding and telling me that I was their alpha because I felt the pain so deeply, but I had to remain strong for the pack. The slayer in me agreed so I began leading them again, training, coaching, teaching and preparing them for anything we might face.

I taught them not to rely on their sight or hearing entirely or even their sense of smell. They fought by touch at first and when they could hold their own, I added a sense, heightening their battle difficulty until they had all their senses and fought me full throttle if not full strength on my part. I did similar training with all of the pack, telling them of the creatures that can fool the senses or kill you with them. I told them I never wished to loose another pack member again, so I'd ensure they were all strong and prepared for anything I could teach them.

I taught them to wield weapons as well and told them that they weren't just creatures, the were meant human, so they can and will train to fight like humans when necessary. Allison and Lydia appreciated the training methods I used the most and the weapons training, specifically the tactical and bow training, tracking and hunting, was well appreciated by them more. I made sure to get permits for all the weapons and seal them in a vault under the mansion.

With Derek's permission, Malia had helped me study the vault's locks and how it kept others out. Derek knew he had nothing I wanted besides that, so it had been one of the favors he'd owed me. In that time Hayden and Liam had been taken by the Dread Doctors, another unknown female chimera was found dead, Hayden and Liam were saved and I'd let Scott deal with Hayden. She and Corey were alright and healing faster even.

Kira was out in the desert with the skin walkers, Scott was using an inhaler and Theo was working his way into Scott's pack despite my warnings. Liam and Hayden were far closer and a couple now so some were happy until Hayden started dripping mercury. I saw Scott struggling in the locker room with his inhaler before talking to Liam. When Liam left, I did so as well, telling Lydia that Theo was in Scott's inner circle.

When Corey came to me instead of Scott because Scott clawed Corey's neck and hurt him. I told him I could turn him, protect him even, but I couldn't allow another member of my pack to die so he'd have to learn to protect himself as well. He agreed and even gave me a hug, seeing that I was in pain still from the loss of Josh. I saw the mercury and asked if he was ready.

He agreed and I told Isaac to hold him with Mason. I apologized for the pain before biting his side. Minutes later he puked up mercury in a trash can and Mason held him while I just looked sadly on, hoping I wasn't wrong about the genetic matchups. I helped clean and patch him up before giving him a necklace they would protect him from the Dread Doctors.

I told Mason to bring him to the mansion after school and I'd begin teaching him all he needs to know. They both agreed and I left while Isaac kept a close eye on them with Tracey. Later that day Malia mentioned a Chimera named Beth and that she was killed by a Dread Doctor at school. Corey was fine and safe though so I held Malia through her pain.

After school, I trained with the pack, Corey included. Lydia brought Parrish and I told him what it was Hellhounds do, make sure the supernatural and the human worlds remain separate so that there's no war between species. I told him that he, other hellhounds and the ghost rider species all keep the secret of the supernatural so that humans don't find out and freak.

I patted his shoulder. "You keep them from trying to exterminate the supernatural or use it for super soldiers and in return there's no uprising and world war between the supernatural species and the humans. That is your purpose other than preventing creatures like La Bete and Anuk-Ite's from committing mass murder and exposing the supernatural to small towns. Otherwise those that survived would be taken by the ghost riders to continue the wild hunt, keeping the balance between those that know, and those that don't."

I told him not to freak out because of the bodies because the nemeton would keep normal humans from finding them, as is it's nature. I told him that it moves along the telluric currents around Beacon Hills, but those who know and need it can summon it to them by feeling instead of thinking. I closed my eyes and opened them, revealing the nemeton at the edge of my driveway.

The dead bodies around it were there as well. I let them be and sent it away, telling Jordan that he needn't be afraid of what he is, because the hellhound is what's keeping him alive. I told him how hellhounds take the bodies of warriors and guardians upon point of death and keep them alive so that they may continue to do so after death. Jordan asked if he was alive and I nodded. "You are as alive as I am. If I somehow lost the wolf in me, it would kill me, literally. Just like if you lost the hellhound, you would die a permanent death as well."

I told him to have sheriff Stalinski come to my place if he has doubts and I can put things into perspective for him. He nodded and I spoke with the hood sheriff later that night, explaining exactly what would happen if he pushed too hard and how even if Jordan failed and the world found out, there would be a war and humans wouldn't necessarily win. I told him that I'd defend my pack and my friends, my town even if I can, but millions would die at the very least and all that blood will have been on his hands.

I told him it was an unfair burden, but one he took on and will have to carry until he leaves office or causes a world war. Sighing, I told him. "I didn't choose to become what I am, I was bitten because Kate burned the Hales alive and Peter needed a pack. I hated my existence until Lydia told me that I was loved no matter what I became against my will."

I glared at the sheriff. "Continue to play the hard nosed sheriff, make your war when it's humans cooking up the problem in the first place and in the end I guarantee you that you'll only live long enough to regret it. I'm speaking from experience on this. I regret every day ever driving that night, even if Lydia can accept me as I am."

I set the flash drive in front of him. "Everything. Every creature, every beastie and every human involved in the supernatural either by family or by trade like the Dread Doctors. That's everything I know about everything. See for yourself, then ask yourself if you're willing to be the one to give those things the opportunity to drop the pretenses and step out of the shadows to declare open war on every defenseless innocent family who previously knew nothing about the supernatural and didn't want to learn it all to be eaten, mauled and torn apart now because they did."

He said I couldn't put that on him and I nodded. "You're right sheriff, but then I'm not. You're the one that's choosing to be this way because he thinks it's unfair. Well guess what I've learned in my short time in the supernaturally fucked world, life isn't fair so grow the fuck up and accept it as it is or take that choice from others like it was taken from us."

I stopped at his office door and told him. "At least you get to be human through it all. Some of us don't have the luxury because there is no cure. Buck up or shut up and pull that trigger, start your war."

I left it up to him and headed to the clinic where Scott and Stiles were having it out over Donovan which Stiles killed accidentally in the school library when he came after Stiles for revenge on the sheriff. I walked into it and snorted, walking passed them with disinterest. Theo was inside with Liam and Hayden. Scott said no to turning Hayden to save her so I told Liam I would if there was no other way to save her.

I told Scott to call his mother and see what she can do for her. By morning Malissa was with us and helping Hayden. I saw him grab Malissa when she put the IV in because it hurt Hayden. Scott and Liam almost had it out, but Theo stopped their argument.

When she wasn't improving, she asked to see her sister because she didn't want to die without seeing her. I told her there was no need because I wouldn't let her die. I asked if she wanted to be in my pack as a beta and I'd save her right now. Scott said I couldn't and he found him bouncing off the wall. I looked at Liam with a raised eyebrow and shrugged before turning to Hayden who said yes because she didn't want to die.

I nodded and removed the IV from her arm, telling Melissa to stand back so I didn't hurt her if she tried to stop me. I raised Hayden's shirt and told her to close her eyes and go to her happy place. She did so and I shifted partially, biting into her side. I released her and spit partial mercury and blood out.

She groaned and I touched her face, shushing her. "Don't worry, once you purge the mercury the pain will ebb and you'll heal fast."

I cleaned and bandaged the bite wound before taking her pain away. She soon vomited a lot of mercury into a trash can I held for her. I stroked her hair and told her of all the pack members I had and of the one I'd failed. I told her it killed a part of me to put him down and I hoped to never have to do it again.

I sighed and told her he was a druggie before he was experimented on and afterwards he couldn't help himself, he got high on power and tried to kill the entire pack in a high from feeding on electricity. I told her it felt like I'd carved out a piece of myself I'd never get back. More than a limb, like a piece of my soul or whatever made me a decent person before. I told her that it gave me his strength, but I never wanted it to begin with and I never wanted to experience it again.

Smiling sadly, I told her that I loved every member of my pack like family, but really they were each an indispensable piece of me I'd rather be dead than lose. Her spots and shiver cleared up as the last of the mercury was out. I helped her was up and sighed. "I'll take you home and you can spend this full moon with the pack. We'll run, hunt deer, party and live like a pack should, happily, safe and together. Tomorrow you can see your sister and we'll talk with her about everything, alright?"

She nodded with a small smile on her face before I lifted and carried her. Liam looked to me and I shook my head. "She may be your girlfriend, but she's my beta. You can relax, I've no designs on her love life. Go, be with your pack, such as it is, and tomorrow if she wants to see you, she can."

He thanked me and I nodded. "I just did what any decent person would do, saved an innocent."

I turned to Scott. "You should understand that fear causes inaction and deciding not to act is just as bad sometimes because while the blood may not be on your hands, it's on your conscience. Your decision not to save her would've been her death sentence had I not been here. So hurray for keeping your hands clean, I hope your moral high ground is comfy up there alone."

He asked how I did it and I shrugged. "Her life was forfeit the moment you let the dread doctors inject her with the second vial of mercury. Modern medicine can only do so much and we both know that she was dead. I simply decided to give her a hand instead of standing by to watch her die like you did."

Liam was huffing and his eyes were glowing, but Melissa told me to just leave so I did after telling her she should be careful whom she orders around the day of a super moon. I took Hayden home where most of the pack was gathered. I left her there with the others and went to get Lydia from the school library. We picked up Malia at the hospital where I had to chase off a berserker chimera because it literally was the definition of unreasonable.

It ran and I told Malia that Allison was waiting with Braeden outside. I told her that the desert wolf knows she's alive and she's coming back to Beacon Hills. Braeden stayed in the mansion with Lydia and Allison while the rest of the pack either partially or fully shifted. We ran as a pack with Hayden and Corey as the newest members, bringing down half a heard of deer before I roared and called a stop to feast.

They tore into the deer with me and ate it all raw only after I'd take a full deer for myself. I shifted back to a partial shift and carried the buck to the mansion. There, I skinned and cleaned it before frying it up for my women and the guest. An hour or so later Boyd and Isaac brought the rest of the pack back. They growled at the humans and my deep roar made them shift fully into their human states.

I waved them off. "Go get washed up and if you have shifter mates, enjoy the rest of the moonlight having sex under it. If you don't or they aren't here, I suggest you run or tug some out in the shower. Now piss off or I'll beat your asses for growling at what's mine."

They ruffled and went about their business, particularly Isaac and Tracey. While Braeden, Lydia and Allison ate, I carried Malia to the bedroom where we tore each other's clothes off. We were ravenous and when Lydia and Allison joined us, Braeden went to bed on the third floor across the hall from us so she was safe. When each of my women were sexed out, I left them in bed and told Boyd and Aiden on the first floor to keep watch because Theo may come for Malia and if he did, I wanted him dead the moment he stepped in our territory.

They were more than happy to oblige and I had places to be. I visited the hospital and saw Scott was there, injured and with Stiles who was angry at him. Sheriff Stilinski was sick and injured. I told Melissa they were looking for a bone fragment from a berserker chimera that attacked him.

I told them to dig into his wound and pull the fragment out which will stop his blood poisoning. Stiles asked how I knew so I told him Malia and I ran into him feeding on bone marrow donations in the hospital and I scared him off because if we'd fought during a super moon, I'd have killed him. They fixed the sheriff up and found the bone fragment with a bit of searching.

I left them there and headed to the water treatment plant tunnels. I found the berserker/werewolf teen running from the dress doctors and offered him a place in my pack with a chance to live and learn to control his power. I told him I'd protect him from the dread doctors and he accepted. I bit him and gave him a necklace, watching as he spewed up mercury all over the ground.

When he was done, he was more werewolf than berserker, but he could change into that as well. The dread doctors found us and I told them. "Your failure is my beta now. Leave him alone or I'll come after your success tonight and don't think I can't find it if I try hard enough."

They clicked and clacked before saying success is imminent and Noah was of no consequence now. We left wearily and Noah asked why they didn't attack. I told him about the necklace device I gave him and that it would only hold them off temporarily until their success experiment is finished, then it was a free for all which is why I wanted him safe in my pack and away from danger when it was time to take out the successful chimera.

The next morning the whole pack was together and Noah was beside Hayden, as thick as thieves. I took Hayden to meet her sister and gave her the full talk. I shifted into a wolf and back and told her what happened to Hayden and why I did what I did to save her life. I told her about the dread doctors and she mentioned a prehistoric creature.

I jumped immediately before calling Chris and the pack. I told Hayden and her sister. "This was never about creating something new. The dread doctors were trying to bring back something old, La Bete Du Gévaudan, the beast of Gévaudan. History's most prolific werewolf mass murderer with a body count of over five hundred. We need back up and fast. This thing is more powerful than any single werewolf because it's the peak of werewolf strength at all times. It's anger and rage incarnate with no other desire than to murder and in a big way."

I tossed Hayden the flash drive I'd prepared and told them to read up on it before making a few calls. Soon the entire pack had gathered and I told them everything. I told Allison that they were trying to bring back Sebastian entirely before telling Lydia how to call the beast's Christian name so that the dread doctor's cane sword can pierce it and Jordan can destroy it for good.

They asked about me and I grunted, showing them the glowing talons. "I'm plan B. If we can't get the cane, I'll draw the power into myself and if I can't control it, I'll end myself before setting it free. This thing cannot be released to slaughter Beacon Hills. The dread doctors made sure the chimeras were human at their core so the ritual I did with the nemeton wouldn't effect it. I won't allow it to kill you all, even if it means I die instead."

I told them to spread out, find the chimera and hopefully we can stop it before it begins in earnest. They agreed and I told Allison to call her father while I called Derek and Braeden. I told Braeden to keep an eye on the desert wolf and let us know when she's close. I told the pack to stay in three groups with an alpha with each of the groups at all times.

I told them they know their strengths and weaknesses so Boyd and Aiden would take Noah, Corey and Hayden. I would have Lydia, Malia and Allison so Isaac was left with Tracey, Ethan, Jackson, Lucas and Parrish once Jackson and Ethan arrive. I told Isaac that Parrish was as strong as an alpha so he'd have the same backup as everyone else besides myself. I told them we'd okay the bait each night with myself challenging the beast while Allison draws it out and if the dread doctors come, we get the cane sword no matter what.

I told them we move as a pack, divide the territory and bring it down together. I told the alphas to roar and fight their hardest together so everyone can converge on it and bring it down. I sighed. "We may not beat it the first night, but if we can hold it off until sunrise each morning, more lives will be spared until we can get the cane sword or I drain the fucker of power."

Hayden's sister, Deputy Valerie Clark, asked. "What do you need of me?"

I grunted. "Any possible sightings you'll relay to us and cover a wider area together. Stay out of it's way and absolutely do not engage. Normal bullets won't harm it so I'll have Marin help Chris and Allison make special bullets like the pike that killed it originally over two hundred years ago. They may not kill it, but they can slow it down and give us a chance to save the chimera trapped inside. Remember our secondary goal is to save this kid, he or she may not even be aware of what's happening to them which is why our methods of killing the beast doesn't kill the chimera as well."

They all agreed, some reluctantly, and we got to work. Chris, Ethan and Jackson arrived before nightfall and joined the hunt with Parrish and the sheriff's department playing backup. The first night we caught it near the school where we fought it damned hard and walked away limping as it fled with the sunrise. The fight had decimated the lacrosse field and we healed, moving on and planning.

Night after night we threw everything we had at it and repeatedly stalled it. I went full berserk mode and went toe to toe with it when it threw Parrish through a car, duking it out all the way until it tried to flee. I managed to get on it's back and stab the glowing claws into it, causing us both to roar for a time before it flung me off, luckily with the claws cause it would suck to lose them. I ended up getting hit by a bus, but I limped away from it alive thanks to a senzu bean and my stubborn refusal to die.

A month flew by and soon we were preparing for the desert wolf. Chris said we needed Gerard, but I told him we knew how to kill the beast and Gerard was more dangerous in my opinion because we can fight a savage beast, but we can't fight a manipulative psychotic sociopath who could rally humans against us and form another rogue hunter group to kill all supernaturals and start a war. He backed off after my rant because I was adamant we didn't need his psychotic father.

I had my own issues because on occasion, my eyes turned electric blue and my urge to kill rose to a near irresistible level. Scott and his pack had helped and even Theo's new pack, those of the dead chimeras except Josh who'd died my beta and lost all his power. Even Donovan was back with Balisko, the guy I took the claw talons from. They wanted the talons back and I nearly killed them when they interrupted a fight between us and the beast.

In the meantime we'd had school every day and running on senzu beans after each fight was pretty much as good as it got for the packs. I'd helped Malia by using the dread doctor's mask to find her mother and the tunnels to the dread doctor's operating theater. I'd taken the Nazi alpha werewolf/werelion in the tank, putting it in the painted world with Mewtwo. Braeden, Malia and I went after Corrine and it wasn't yet on a full moon, but it was close.

Malia had the talons and we headed to fort Jewet where we found Deaton and Corrine with Theo and his pack. I smiled. "Looks like underestimated you Theo…or did I?"

I raised a hand and struck them down with lightning arcs, dropping the chimeras and deep frying half of Theo's face. Corrine took a jolt and Braden shot her in the stomach before Malia moved, tearing into her with the glowing talons. Deaton tried to say she needed a full moon, but when Malia finished, I told Deaton. "Funny thing about the moon, it's always full and it's always present, even if you can't always see it."

I stilled and ran to Deaton, cutting him free and getting him out of the chair as the beast tore a hole in the back wall. I told them to run before Malia gave me the talons and took Deaton. I jammed the claws into each of my fingers as I backed up and partially shifted. I told Malia to get Deaton and Braeden out alive and head back to the pack.

The beast came through the wall as the chimeras got up and it tore them apart. They weren't real werewolves or whatever so they weren't as strong, but to see it take them apart like taffy made even me wince. Theo managed to escape while his pack was torn apart and I roared at the beast. It looked to me and roared back before we charged each other at full strength, all we both had.

It was like a sonic bomb going off from the collision as we both slid back. I could feel myself losing it but by bit to the need for bloodlust and slaughter. With every second I wounded it with the talons, I took in more of it's power than I had over the last near month of fighting it. I managed to pin the beast under a couple jeeps and nailed it between the shoulder blades with the talons.

I only stopped when the dark swirling began to appear around me and the dread doctors appeared, watching. Their leader spoke, saying success was immanent now. I pulled the talons free and roared while the body below me turned into the unconscious form of Mason. Pain lacerated my mind as images and memories swam through it.

I was the beast but not of Gévaudan. Memories of ravaging the world for thousands of years, killing all in my path, surfaced. That is until a fool drank rain water from the puddle of my paw print over two hundred years ago. I'd died and he'd absorbed my rage, going on to make a name for himself. It took so long and the birth of twins from the intentional workings of the dread doctors experiments and from a murdered pregnant woman to give birth to the beast once more.

The Garuda claws was their intentional scheme to push for the true beast's rebirth by taking the power back from Sebastian's spirit they'd resurrected. I roared, feeling free once more and free I would remain. The slayer's power had been demonic in origin and it translated into an unending desire to kill. In this world so long ago, I'd become the world's first werewolf while dinosaurs still roamed the lands with supernatural creatures.

I remembered it all now and I was whole finally. I shrank down and growled at the dread doctors. They bowed, my acolytes, disciples pulled in by the power I'd possessed when whole. Even Marcel had been pulled in and wanted the power I could give them as original wolves like the fool Lycaon and his sons who'd sought me out calling it the power of the gods.

My eyes an electric blue he'd called it Zeus and bragged about trying to get one over on me when I'd ate his youngest son. I took the cane Marcel offered and crushed their heads, ending them entirely. Something in me shifted with the blatant murder, appalled by it. An inner struggle and battle began before I was no longer me entirely anymore.

I knew how I'd done it, become the beast. I remembered it all, but in the end I remembered I don't want to be the beast anymore. I broke off the talons and locked them in warehouse two while the power and urges were squared away in my ring. Most of it had been pure crystallizes telluric energy I'd harnessed from the planet.

I put the dread doctor's bodies away and left, ashamed and much weaker now. I'd stored the beast's power in the ring along with an orb of power I made from Josh's electric power. I made one last one from the Kanima's power, sealing it as well, making myself a pure true alpha werewolf.

I left after pulling Mason out of the pile carefully and without harm. I carried him back to the mansion where I gathered everyone and told them Mason was the last and only successful chimera. I told them I'd broken the talons in the beast and it went into them as energy before they exploded. I told them Mason had passed out.

As a pack and as a whole, we searched for answers and the dread doctors, finding nothing. One day Kate appeared and killed Gerard before disappearing again, ending the tragic tales of Beacon Hills for a time until Theo tried killing Deucalion and ended up horribly beaten within an inch of his life. Kira went off with the skin walkers again, taking Theo who was barely alive at the time.

With no mass hysteria or the Nazi hybrid alpha, the ghost riders never came. The pack had breathing room and grew far stronger as Malia, Hayden and all the new weres learned to fully shift and fully control the shift by the end of the school year. Hayden became a true alpha and soon all the others in my pack did as well.

My presence and teachings simply helped them reach their full potentials easier. It became a massive alpha pack and together we guarded Beacon Hills as the main pack like the Hales had. Most of us went off to college, found someone to be with and settled down over the next four years of craziness. Lydia and I had married, Cora had returned with her pack and my son.

Malia, Allison and Lydia had given me all daughters. Only my daughter with Malia was a werewolf baby, not a werecoyote which wouldn't have been bad either thanks to Malia's status as a true alpha. Soon, thirteen years had passed and the mansion was full of kids, laughter and happy memories. Malia and I had barely aged which Lydia found attractive she herself aged slowly as well.

Allison had taken over her family business once young Victoria was proven to be human with her three brothers. Chris helped teach them, guide them and at times, train them. Both Hailey and Faith, my daughters with Lydia, were powerful banshees in the making. That left Hope with Malia and seven children of all ages with Cora.

I was the only alpha she'd accept in her bed which was a good thing because I'd have killed anyone that tried with her or any of my women. Derek and Braeden had settled down and moved into the mansion to help raise the werewolf kids of the Hale lines. Malia got to know her cousins better and occasionally she and Cora spent the night in my bed together. Malia would work me up and slide me into Cora which is how I had so many kids.

While Cora was pregnant practically all the time, Marin had only gotten pregnant once despite being a frequent visitor to my bed. Even Hayden had come to me with trouble conceiving thanks to Liam being sterile. She had three kids and none of them looked anything like Liam at all. On the flip side Isaac and Tracey had many kids. They were a veritable bunny farm and needed no help.

Even Boyd and Aiden had a few kids. Lucas, Corey and Mason were all only interested in men so no kids there, but one of Hayden's kids belonged to Noah who'd married a different woman. After his marriage Hayden only came to me when Liam just wasn't getting it up. Another ten years of protecting Beacon Hills passed and five more brats come via Hayden.

As it turns out, Hayden's true alpha status intimidated Liam into sterility. He wasn't true alpha material, so he'd gone half rabid and attacked Scott trying to take his power again. Liam died which hurt Hayden, Scott moved out of Beacon Hills, hunted by the FBI led by Stiles and shit happened soon enough on a totally different note. Marin had given me a second child by the time a group of dark druids came to town, hell bent on using the nemeton's super charged power to bring down the world famous pack of true alphas.

That year Noah, Lucas and Derek died, the rest of us adults and true alphas disappeared after we passed our sparks on to the kids. They were just alphas and some scattered to the four winds. I gave my spark to Jackson while Aiden gave his to his son. The rest varied, but for the most part my kids got the sparks.

The dark druids were all dead even with the solar eclipse and Marin helped what remained to find closure. I'd cloned my body and left it in the painted world after giving up my spark so my clone had died killing the dark druids. Even Allison had passed her position on while she and Chris came to the painted world to retire and be revitalized as immortals. The kids had mostly grown up and the rest were safe so they'd be fine.

The world was fine having switched entirely to clean energy and cleaned shit up. Chris was happy to see Kate and so was Allison. They were a bit surprised when they saw Kate was pregnant by old Bone, but they were immortal and surprises were good when you lived forever. Many of the immortals had children and some had gone to the mortal world before we left. Some of my other children included.

Back to the present in the void between life and death, I was soon sucked into a fissure of space time and on we went.
