Master!

Drog frowned. "Someone else is here?" he thought before beginning to look around the darkness which surrounded him, searching for the owner of the voice that he just heard.

"You won't find me there or anywhere you try to look with your eyes," the voice sounded in his head for the second time.

Drog stopped looking around. "I will believe you since your voice is coming from all directions at once, from both far and close.

"Tell me your name," the voice asked for Drog's name for the second time.

Drog closed his eyes. "First, stop hiding and reveal yourself to me. Second, give your name first before demanding mine."

"Very well. Focus on the pendant which hangs on your neck and you will both see me and get my name."

"The pendant?" Drog thought. He opened his eyes, pulled out the pendant from under his rags and looked at it. His surroundings suddenly twisted and he was now standing in a place with nothing but pitch-black darkness, himself and a woman whose beauty exceeded everyone that Drog has ever laid eyes on, and he got mesmerised by her. She had large beautifully shaped D-sup sized breasts, scarlet red eyes, medium-length black hair, perfect face and a perfect figure. She wore a robe with a terrifying dragon embroidered on it.

"My name is Liu Ri. Now tell me your name."

Drog absentmindedly nodded his head and said, "My name is Drog."

Liu Ri slightly nodded her head. "Nice to make your acquaintance, Drog." She coughed into her hand. "Now that we are introduced, let's get down to business." Hearing her words, Drog returned back to his senses and said, "What business?"

"You can do something that I need and I can do something that you need."

Drog narrowed his eyes. "What are you talking about? I don't need anything from you."

Liu Ri smiled. "But you do. You need me to become your master."

"Why would I need you to become my master?"

"Because if I become your master, you will become the strongest no matter what kind of martial talent you have."

Drog arrogantly harrumphed. "Then, I don't need you, because I will become the strongest no matter what, because my martial talent is of A-rank."

Liu Ri couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Such a trashy martial talent. You can barely form a divine soul with the martial talent of that rank. And you will not amount to anything in the god realm."

Drog frowned. "God realm? Are you saying that if I permit you to become my master, I will become a god?"

Liu Ri narrowed her eyes but then unarrowed them immediately after. "That is correct. If I become your master, you will become a god, but not any a god, the strongest god."

Drog widely smiled. "Very well. I will permit you to become my master."

"Not so fast. If you want me to become your master, you have to do three things for me. First, you will free me from this prison. Second, you will reconstruct my body. Third, you will aid me in getting revenge."

"Prison?" Drog thought and the image of the pendant formed in his head. "We are in the pendant?" he asked.

"That's right, but don't worry, you can come and go as you wish. Only I am trapped here. So do you agree?"

"I know how to aid you in getting revenge, but how do I free you and reconstruct your body?"

"You will be able to shatter my prison once your strength reaches a certain point and you will be able to reconstruct my body by gathering certain items and performing a certain ritual."

Drog nodded his head in understanding. "Very well," he said.

Liu Ri flicked her wrist and a sheet of paper appeared in mid-air. She pushed it towards Drog. He caught it in mid-air and started reading it. On it was everything that they talked about. He raised his eyes from it once he finished reading it and Liu Ri said, "If you breach even a single point. Your soul will perish and you won't ever reincarnate."

"Are you trying to insult me?"

Liu Ri shook her head. "Not at all."

Drog heavily breathed out. "How do I sign it?"

"Press on it hard, and it will be signed. And from that moment on, you will become my disciple and I will become your master!"

Drog pressed on the contract hard and it vanished into thin air.

"Now kowtow to your master."

Drog kowtowed to Liu Ri. "Disciple greets master!"

"Very good."

Drog stood up.

"Let's not waste any time. First, you have to awaken your dantian. To that end, I will impart upon you several techniques and instructions on what you will have to do."

"Yes, master."

Liu Ri walked up to Drog and with her fingertips touched his forehead. Since he was only half her height, she had to point her arm down. Her touch felt neither hot nor cold. A burst of knowledge entered his head. "Now use that knowledge and awaken your dantian."

Drog nodded his head and sat down.

Liu Ri looked down at him. "Not here as here there is no world energy in this prison of mine. You have to go outside and do it there."

"How do I leave this place?"

"Close your eyes and focus on your body."

Drog did what he was told and he found himself lying on the ground.
