Outlaws Pt. 3

You found yourself perched on a gargoyle. You had no idea if you were going to find Black Mask but you had the bat computer's entire data on your wrist. Bosses are creatures of habit. Surely he would be in one of his safe houses or pent house. He had to be. You don't know what you were going to do when you found him. You knew what you wanted to do.

You shook the thought from your head. All you needed to do was focus. Black Mask was your goal. You can decide what to do after you finish beating him.

You had turned off your communication when you left the hideout. You were pretty sure Batman had everyone looking for you right now but you could care less. That was until you held a rather large hand on your shoulder.

Bizzaro: Batman safe.

You turned around to see him and Artemis. Bizzaro was floating above you and you prayed to whatever god was looking down at you he wouldn't fall. Artemis was leaning against the wall with her arms crossed.

Y/N: If you're here to stop me, don't bother. I'm going to find Black Mask.

They didn't budge.

Artemis: We're not stopping you. We're just here to make sure you don't kill him.

Y/N: Who ordered that? Batman?

Bizzaro: Red Him.

You looked at the clone and couldn't help but smile. Of course Jason would. He knew better than anyone that taking a life wasn't worth it.

Artemis: We're also here to make sure you don't get killed yourself.

Y/N: Jason?

Bizzaro shook his head.

Artemis: Bizarro likes you. Plus you did help us.

You smiled even more. You turned back to the building before you. This was the last location you needed to check up on. You used the different settings until you finally spotted the man you were looking for.

Y/N: He's here.

Artemis heard the sharpness in your voice. She gently kicked your heel getting your attention.

Artemis: Why are you so obsessed with this man? Your vendetta seems like it stems from a very strong hatred.

You looked down, lost in thought.

Your arm shot out as if to grab something before you slowly brought it back. You shook the memory from your mind.

Y/N: Let's just go with, it's personal.

Artemis chose not to push it anymore but Bizarro didn't seem to get the message.

Bizzaro: Did Mask Man hurt you?

You looked at the giant and nodded.

Y/N: Yes. He also hurt someone very close to me. He hurt them badly.

Bizzaro: And you are mad?

Y/N: Very.

Bizzaro put on a mean face and took up a strong stance.

Bizzaro: No one hurts Bizarro friend.

You smiled. Artemis rolled her eyes and reaches her hand out.

Artemis: To me mistress!

Out of the darkness of night came the large axe. She caught it and spun it around effortlessly before striking a pose in a playful manner. You smirked under your helmet and clapped.

Artemis: Let's go get Mask Man.-------Across the city

Orphan and Nightwing did another sweep of the east side looking for you. They were out of luck once again. Nightwing landed on a rooftop and reported in. No sign of you.

Nightwing: Man. He really is a mini Bruce. And I thought Damien was bad.

Orphan walked near the edge and looked out at the city. Nightwing noticed that she seemed upset when Bruce called in for them to look for you. He knew that the two of you had became close friends over the time you had been here. You were pretty much the only one she could tolerate for a long period of time besides Stephanie but that was just because you also enjoyed the silence.

Of course no one was as worried as Booster.

Yeah, he was a drama queen. Really he was just worried for his best friend. Everyone had been searching for you since.

Nightwing walked over to Orphan and placed a hand on her shoulder. Hey, it runs in the family.

Nightwing: We'll find him. He's out there somewhere. Plus he's Batman. He'll be fine.

Orphan didn't even look up. Nightwing sighed and looked back behind him.

Nightwing: Come on. Maybe we missed something.

Orphan nodded and returned to her search. Nightwing watched before turning back to the city.

Nightwing: Be careful Y/N.--------You found yourself flying against the building trying to survey the area while Bizarro and Artemis waited on the rooftop. You finally returned.

Y/N: Thank god Powers hasn't been invented yet. His security is a pain in the butt.

Artemis: Are we safe to enter?

You nodded and kicked the door open.

Y/N: After you your Majesty.

You held the door open and watched as Artemis smiled.

Artemis: Todd can learn a thing or two from you.

She walked past you and you looked to Bizarro.

Y/N: Come on big guy.

Bizzaro entered and you did your best to close the door behind you. You finally gave up and followed the two of them down the stairs. You found yourselves on the penthouse floor where you had last seen Black Mask. You scanned the room and found about 5 figures throughout the floor.

Y/N: They're in his office. 5 in total.

Bizzaro looked at the wall trying to use his x-ray vision. You ge fly turned him toward the office.

Bizarro: Yep. 5 bad guys.

You looked to Artemis who just shrugged. The three of you walked towards the office before Artemis grabbed your arm.

Artemis: You don't want to call it in?

You shook your head. You knew Batman would stop you. Hell, they all would. You turned back to the door and braced yourself.

Y/N: Knock it down big fella.

Bizzaro lifted his leg and brought it down on the poor wooden door, easily breaking it. Everyone in the room turned to the three of you and brought out their guns. You activated your wrist and jammed the guns. You smiled at the knowledge you had gotten from Tim. They tried to fire but were instead confused.
