Lazy Cultivator Wants to be Lazy

A lazy cultivation master has lived for a long time and decides to go into closed cultivation. When she finally goes through her breakthrough she sees her alternate universe life. She remembers a story she read in that life that is similar to the life she lives now. She realizes that those books were talking about the world she lives in. In the story, the main character was a stud horse who had a harem of 5 women. He traveled around the world, trying to grow stronger so that he could defeat the great evil boss that was being unsealed. She was apparently his golden master that helped him whenever he was in trouble, and during the last volume, she dies protecting them from that evil boss. She had actually double suicided with the evil boss. It was theorized by the fans that she was secretly in love with the stud horse, but due to being his master, she could only protect him from afar. But… she doesn't actually remember that kid??? When the hell did she pick up a disciple?!? Who is that weird fucker who is stalking her?!?! Now that she’s actually thinking about it, it never actually said in the book that she was that little bastard’s master. She just saw him whenever she was on one of her walks and decided to help because he wouldn’t leave her alone. Wait, didn’t that mean that little shit was actually stalking her?! Did he want her in his harem or something?!? Aw, hell no!!! She just wanted to relax. Why is it so hard to relax in this life? She just wanted to take a nap. Leave her alone already, ah! A stud-horse and his harem of strangely strong girls, two little spirit creatures, a puppy-like man that’s following her everywhere and so many more. Don’t even get her started on the situations these fools try to drag her into. She just wants to take a nap! Leave her alone and take your problems with you!!! (Note: This is not a serious story. I'm just doing this for fun.)

Chapter 3: Wow, this is so cliché.

Sun Liqiu looked toward the distance at the bright red light from the cliff she was standing on.

"Wow, did he actually kill them all with a technique called Flaming Dragon Roar???" she snorted. "That's so fucking embarrassing."

She looked around, trying to find a way toward civilization. Suddenly she paused, squinting her eyes in a certain direction. A familiar energy was growing in the opposite direction of the red light. Sun Liqiu looked back at the red light and then in the opposite direction toward the familiar energy. The distance between the two wasn't very far. She narrowed her eyes.

'Is this gonna be a big scene??? Like one of the scenes in the book…I think I remember something…!!!Oh! OH SHIT! I GOTTA GET THERE FIRST-!!!'Sun Liqiu went toward the familiar energy. She went so fast that no one could see her. She immediately paused in front of a cave with the familiar energy.

The cave was covered with an array formation that would be hard for a normal person to get through. Unfortunately, in the novel, the main character broke through it despite the fact that he was seriously injured from the fight with the masked men. Which is complete and utter bull. Like what kind of main character buff is that? Stupid main protagonist halo. Breaking open her precious formation without even figuring it out. Hmph.

You read that correctly dear readers. Our lovely main character was the one to invent that formation. Although the formation was filled with mistakes it wasn't something a little boy that just started cultivating should be able to break.

Sun Liqiu immediately went through the formation. She went as fast as she could, practically teleporting when she felt the energy from that fucking protagonist getting closer. She set up a stronger formation as she went. At least to slow him down because she knew that his bullshit protagonist aura would just blast right through.

When she reached the end of the array, she put a strong defense key up as fast as she could. It was not her best work but it would hold for a bit at least.

She took a deep breath before turning around. She looked down into the dark passage in front of her before running down the passage.

She had to get there first.

Few minutes before with the Protagonist.

Xu Feng was running low on energy. He had put all his energy into the attack but there were still 3 men following. They were injured but so was he.

Xu Feng held his hand over a stab wound as he ran. He wasn't going to get caught. He was going to be the strongest cultivator in the world. His eyes hardened in determination. He was going to be so strong no one could ever bully him again.

He grunted as he dodged a strike from one of the men following him.

"Is that the best you can do?" Xu Feng sneered. "What a bunch of weaklings! You don't even deserve to be cultivators."

The men were enraged and became more frenzied with their attacks. Xu Feng dodged and kept running while keeping an eye on the men following him.

The men were becoming sloppy as they attacked. Their wounds were slowing them down and in their frenzied state, they would notice as he subtly led them to Eternal Death Cliff. (Author: Listen, I dunno. It was the first few words to pop up in my mind. There are worse names…It could be worse.)

He would end it all there. It was either them or him. Xu Feng gritted his teeth in determination as his wounds ached in exertion. He ran faster trying to get to the cliff as soon as possible when he sensed his stab wound getting worse. It started to ache more and his eyes turned cold, knowing his poison was acting up. He wasn't going to give up. In this world where the weak get eaten, he would not be the prey.

He would make sure it was them.

Back to our MC

Sun Liqiu wanted to die.

Well not literally, but she was bored. She had forgotten that using energy would be so annoying.

She had been running for a while now and hadn't reached the end yet. She wondered how the main protagonist had gotten to the end so fast.

She paused. How had he gotten there so fast? She looked around as her thoughts flew. Her eyes caught on an inconspicuous rock. The very inconspicuous rock that seemed to be mocking her blindness.

Sun Liqiu squinted at it.

Was…was that her teleportation array rock??? The one that she never found after she threw it at-...

She stopped in her tracks. If that was hers and the arrays here were hers then she knew exactly who was here.

Fuck.

She immediately used the teleportation array, destroying it as she went although she knew it probably wouldn't do much to stop the protagonist.

Closing her eyes, she thought to herself,' I'll find you and this time I'll save you.'

Sun Liqiu opened her eyes and ran.

I am so sorry. I really am. My life has been going...Yea. My house got flooded and destroyed while we were stuck in it. The PTSD was pretty bad so my family moved after we renovated and sold it. I am NOT dropping this. It'll be like ripping out teeth but I will finish this. But I'll be busy this summer, although I don't know if I got the internship. Finals are happening right now but I'm just procrastinating. My life is pretty stressful and I feel like I'm falling apart but other than that it's all good. Wish me luck and I really hope you guys do well with whatever you have to do.
