CHAPTER 13: FAMILY PARK (1)

It was Friday night, I already asked permission with my parents. To let them know where we were going and who I am with. I mentioned to them about Eian. They automatically agreed even though they kind of wonder how we might get reconnected. But did not bother to ask.

Yeah, I am good daughter to them. I am not as wild as the others. They want to let me be experience youth life. But not too much that I will destroy my future.

That's what my mother always told us her children. They were not strict but we make sure what is right and what is wrong.

I never thought that I would be doing this. Never in my wildest dream to go with this kind of gatherings. I heard doorbells on the front door. I know who would that be without looking at the screen because Eian texted me already that he will pick me up around 7 in the evening.

I was wearing black jogger, white fitted shirt and black long cardigan with white sneakers. I put my hair into a bun style, a little lip gloss then my favorite body fragrance.

I opened the door and saw the smiling Eian. He was checking on me, down to up before landed his eyes on my face and I do the same. He was wearing gray fitted shirt and jeans. He looked great in any clothes he wears.

"Hi, are you ready to explore?" He said and I nodded.

I checked the door to make sure it was locked then followed him to his car. To be honest, I was kind of nervous to this gathering. I do not know everyone except Eian, Cindy, Vince and their friends. I do not know who will be there to join.

I know there will be some drinks like alcohol and drugs, maybe. I am confident that Eian will not do drugs because he is not that kind of person.

Besides, I never heard any in our school that do bad things, I guess. Well, I am not sure either since I do not go out often.

He assisted me inside his car by opening the door, what a gentleman! He even buckled my seatbelt. My heart was pounding when he was near.

'Why am I doing that?'

"Where exactly are we going? I mean, I know you said that it was a park but I do not know where that is." I spoke.

"A family park, it was near the forest, 30 minutes' drive to get there and you will like it." He told me. "Just do not leave my sight okay. No matter what." He added smiling at me. I nodded.

We arrived as what he said. There were already many people sitting near the bonfire and some were standing somewhere, talking. It was making me restless, faces that were unknown to me.

Eian parked his car properly then turned off the engine. He faced me as he held my hand tightly.

"Hey, will you relax? You looked tense." He spoke.

I nodded, take a deep breathe.

I know this is my first time coming to this but Cindy is coming so I should not be worry.

Eian assured me not to leave by his side so I guess I will have some fun and enjoy the night.

We got out and Cindy saw us coming. She waved at me to come to them. They were already sitting with some group of people.

I know they were from our school because I saw Brenda too and her minions and some varsities too. I know they were Eian's friends.

"Hey," Cindy greeted then hugged me. "I am so glad you came. I was wondering you changed your mind about coming here tonight."

"No, like you said I should enjoy my last year in high school." I smiled looking at her then Eian.

"Come on, let's have some fun." She dragged me to the group who were sitting near the fire. Eian followed us. I know some of them because we were classmates but not all of them. Maybe familiar faces were seen in the campus but not their names.

Brenda was there in the group glaring at me, of course. Disregarding her glaring at me. I sat next to Cindy. Eian sat next to me. We have been here for a while. I was busy talking with Cindy while Eian was chatting with his friends and some other people from our school.

Brenda stood up in the middle making some suggestion. "Hey guys, why don't we do some games before ending this evening."

What game are you suggesting?" One of her minions asked.

"What about spinning the bottle?" Brenda answered grinning looking at Eian.

I know what she means by that game. It's a game for who spin it turn to will do the kissing on the lips. Of course, separate boys to girls. She was desperate to gain attention to Eian obviously.

A little tense I feel with that kind of game. It was not my cup of tea and even if I do not like it, I did not make it obvious. I heard everyone agreed except me while Cindy was quiet sitting. She knew me that I do not want to join that game.

"Cal, are you okay? Do you want to join?" Eian asked and Cindy was looking at me too.

"Come on, Sky. It is just a game do not be a killjoy in your life." I heard Brenda say. "We do not do kissing with the same sex. So, boys, move to the left side."

Eian was still staring at me. "Yeah, do not worry Eian. I will join and it is just a game anyway." I smiled forcedly at him. "You can go to the boys' side now." I spoke.

All the boys were already moving to the other side and Eian started to move to them.

Cindy whispered to me. "Are you sure about this?" She asked. "You know you can back out with this stupid games."

I laughed, saw it rolling her eyes. "Cin, it's just a game so no big deal. You said to yourself that I have to enjoy our senior year and this is one of them." I replied.

"But it's your..." I did not let her finish the sentence.

"Don't be like that if this is it then be it, okay. Love you." I said with my sweet smile. She shook her head and sat a few inches away from me.
