The Difference from Resolution

"Hahh...Hah...."

In the middle of a small corridor, there's a woman with white hair gasping for an air as she hastily moves her leg. Her face is covered in dirt and sweat which should make her uncomfortable to show her gallant face within those stain, yet she keep running to one room she believes to be the source of her worries.

"..Please...please be fine..."

However, the more closer she is to her goal, her heart become more stirred by every dark premonition that she has. Her eyes become distorted from how big her unrest is and also from how bad the news she received from her phone.

["Cecilia...Are you there?!"]

"Eh? Ziggy? Why did you call me right now? Didn't you hear about news!?"

Cecilia, her name in this world is Cecilia. She's still the wife of Siegfried and the mother of Kiana even in this world created from his will. However, there are also some differences about how her family is and also how her life goes.

She's in the middle of helping her neighbors to escape and also to cover their retreat as she strike any drones aiming at their heads with a white lance. She handled the huge spear with ease as her limbs.

["Yeah...I heard that, more importantly Cecilia. I want you to calm down."]

"...What's going on."

Yet, when she heard her husband speak in a serious and soothing tone, her instincts told her that something had happened. She stopped moving for a second, however when there's a drone comes at her, she snap and gained her sanity back.

["Right now...I'm in hospital. It's about that idiotic son..."]

Once again, her move has been stopped when she heard his voice through her phone. She let her guard down and another drone took this chance to land its strike on her. Cecilia froze as she heard the detail being told by Siegfried from the phone.

Her face become dark along with the news of who are being told to her. There's a glistering water created from her eyes, her eyes become teary while she holds herself to hear the truth from her husband.

"Cecilia! Look out!"

Another figure with white hair appeared to protect her from the drones that were about to attack her. However, this figure has a smaller stature than Cecilia who can also be said to be a cute figure more than a gallant one.

"...Theresa-chan..."

"Hold yourself together Cecilia!"

Her name is Theresa, Cecilia's friend who also came just in time to protect her from physical injuries. Seeing her friend almost crying in the middle of the battlefield, Theresa convinced her to move while comforting her not to fall.

"..."

"Cecilia..."

This is the last transmission she has done before she darted from her ground to hospital.

Back to Theresa who was left behind by Cecila, not long after Cecila put her grounds to stand she told Theresa to continue helping people because she had other places to go. There are no strong foes in this area other than the drones she is dealing with, which makes clearing the area quicker with Theresa before she left.

"Ah! There you are Theresa-chan!"

A bright voice called her while she's in the middle of her thought on a big cross she used to bash every foes and also the one who underestimate her as a pre-schooler.

"Ma- Kallen-sama!"

The voice came from Kallen, but what should be a joy when she got to met one of the legendary in a book, instead, there were small slips of words as well a sense of integrity came out from her little mouth, while tidying up her appearance up.

"...Theresa-chan. What did you call me again?"

"Umm...W-What do you mean Kallen-sama?"

Theresa feel the ground where she's standing right now is becoming more fragile. The ground will soon crumble and she'll yet again fall to another hole she called as...Adult parenting. Because there's a chance of their relation which is different in this world.

"Hmm...Fine, maybe I got something wrong in my ears."

"Y-Yess...All these buzzing sounds is very loud a-ahaha..."

Kallen keep pushing Theresa who is almost in the edge. She knows too little about Theresa, yet whenever there's a close distance within them, Kallen can feel something resonating within her heart which is not the same one when she's with Yae Sakura.

Theresa who have to hold herself from escaping the scene gradually felt her nape drenched and become cold with the situation she got stuck in now. However, she couldn't dismantle her disguise that was as important as her life.

"By the way Theresa-chan, what are you doing alone in this place? Helping civilian to move and defeating these tools?"

Kallen decided to move on to another topic of discussion when she saw Theresa was feeling a little uncomfortable, with Thomas's drone in hand, Kallen felt proud of Theresa's brave actions for protecting the citizens and also not letting any of them get hurt while guiding them to the nearest shelter.

"A-Ah...yes! Thank you very much Kallen-sama, but there's another person who also helped me. Her name is Cecilia, my friend who also the one who initiated the first move."

"Ohhh that one, the one who can hold Black Abyss White Flower. I've heard of her before, but I thought her home is not in this region right?"

"Cecilia is the type who help everyone she can help, maybe that's why she got into this area in the first place. However, she immediately left after using her phone."

Kallen and Theresa spoke while clearing out further enemies that was in hiding and escape their attacks. While on their way to clean up the field, Theresa kept her distance from Kallen while Kallen who was unaware of Theresa's strange behavior, tried to approach her.

"...Theresa-chan? Is it just me, or you're avoiding me?"

"T-There's no way I did that, I want to watch and learn from your way after all, Kallen-sama."

Theresa nervously told her a reason to distract her into another topic.

"When I overheard her conversation, I could hear something about the hospital. Maybe that's where Cecilia went, how about Kallen-sama? Now that most of the civilians are safe, can I leave it to you? Because I want to look after her condition right now."

Theresa was getting more and more pressured with all the circumstances that were happening around her, at first she just wanted to chase Cecilia who kept saving people, until in the end she met Kallen who made her have to leave this place before she founds clues about her identity.

She tried another chance to run, yet to no avail.

"That's perfect! I'm also on my way to the hospital, why don't we go together Theresa-chan?"

Everything fell apart and something cracked inside Theresa, because she didn't ask about what Kallen was doing in the first place.

"...yes."

Then, Theresa has to face another trip along with Kallen to the hospital who didn't let her away from Kallen's firm hands. Kallen was happily enjoying her time as she walked with Theresa, holding her little hand by her side like she was leading a small child as...her mother.

In the waiting room of the Soukai city hospital, there were three sisters sitting in their seats amidst grief at the news that had been delivered by one of their sisters. They didn't bail in tears while denying the reality, but sadness could be seen on their faces as the news became easier for them to understand.

"...Bianca, you're not lying right?"

"Definitely not, what I've told you is the truth from my viewpoint."

"But for Aniki to be like that..."

Kiana, one of the sisters being talked about. During the outbreak, she was at school with Bianca and Sirin who were also more or less the same as her. However, when their father called and told them about her brother who skipped class and couldn't get any news of his whereabouts, Bianca followed Siegfried which left Kiana unable to understand what was going on.

She and Sirin were later dragged by Bianca to follow her suit to the hospital.

"...Kiana, he's going to..no, he'll live. Let's keep waiting for his condition to be better."

Bianca, she was entrusted by Siegfried of Moriarty well being before he left with Sengoku, however she was unable to fulfill her promise as Moriarty left as quickly as possible from her side leaving her on her own. Didn't know about where Moriarty gone to, she decided to regroup with her sisters first and told them to follow her.

However, a sister who was also the youngest was unable to speak a word because she was overwhelmed by every inch of their conversation. Her golden eyes and her purple hair which attract many pair of eyes onto her, become another ribbon which remind her of her memories with her big brother.

"...he...forgot about us? you're really not lying right?"

"...Yes. However, this is only my assumption. There's a chance if I'm wrong."

Sirin became desperate if the outcome was exactly as Bianca had predicted, despair and lamentation slowly filled her heart and the voices she heard in this waiting room gradually subsided.

A dark premonition emerge from her mind and another foreign emotion arose within her heart, hatred, despair, hopelessness, and injustice to this world.

"..there's no way."

"...why now?"

"...Sirin."

"...why him?"

"..."

"...why us?"

"...why...me?"

"...we have been living happily and everything is perfect. There's nothing dangerous, and nothing painful to happen at us all this time. Why can't that time to be far more longer?!"

She shouted from her throat which made her voice even more shrill than before, and this act of her made many pairs of eyes upon her. However, the gaze of those many eyes only made her even more frightened.

"Pardon for our impoliteness, however please mind your own business."

Bianca put a front to shield her sister from being unwanted attention more so during this outbreak, and Kiana who catch the sight of her small sister in fright, crouch to see her eyes and do what she can to calm her down.

"...Hey."

"...You know about him right, that stupid aniki."

Kiana put her hand on her head and patted it with a smile. She tries to calm Sirin who wants to run away from reality and will blame herself in the process and will soon grows more hatred against this world, but these things are unknown for Kiana, she never moves based on motives and what she will get, because as long as she can help someone, she will.

"...Aniki is a neet who always spoke about games and anime all the times, but there's time when you got to see how great he is right?"

"..."

"...Sometime he's far more idiot than me, but he can also become more adult than Bianca. He's really weird doesn't he?"

"...what do you mean?"

Sirin opened her face which was covered by her hands where tears were running down her eyes, Kiana didn't stop her smile as she watched her. Those golden eyes, as well as her purple hair which should be displeasing to many people, for her those are just the perfect combination for the cute Sirin.

Kiana clasped Sirin's hand as she smiled with her kind smile, as if she was the light that would drive out all darkness from her sister's heart. The dark and cold hatred that lurked deep within, a silent night where the light has gone and never shined again within her soul...

"...I believe in him, what about you?"

Have become the same kindred soul that shine together along with her sister once again.
