Chapter 5 - Truths Revealed Part 1

Us: (unison) What?!

Man: Yes... which plane were you all using?

Me: The Automated Pilot/Airline.

Man: ...

We all looked at each other - checking to see if we all thought of the same thing.

Me: So...you are saying that you think ---

Biance: The cause of our plane crash was because ---

Us: (unison) OF THE AUTOMATED PILOT?!

Woman: Yes - I mean, we too used the same airline when we were travelling to Madagascar. We travelled the 4 of us as a family and then the whole system failing happened, causing us to jump out of the airline to save our lives.

Me: (gasp) You know - that happened to us the exact same way.

Biance: Yeah, the only difference was that we were travelling to Mauritius.

Biance and I: But - we still don't understand.

David: Yeah, how is it the airline's fault?

Cianco still traumatized and confused about all that is happening at the moment.

Man: We are so, so, sorry about catching you boys off guard - was not my intention.

David: (calmed down) That's okay - no worries.

Man: How about we sit down and talk about this?

David: Sounds like a plan.

Cianco: (nodding his head) Yeah - I need more clarification on this.

We all sat together, forming a circle. They didn't seem like bad people to me - I mean they even had a son and a daughter, in which the daughter looked 3 years younger to Cianco, meaning she was 13 years of age, while the son was exactly the age of Biance - 18 years of age. After some time, I began to think deeply about all that was said about our plane crash.

Me: (deep in thought) What made our plane crash the airline's problem? 

Biance: Hello? Nabi?

David and Cianco: Earth to Nabia!

After a few seconds, I came back to reality.

Me: Sorry guys - I was just...deep in thought.

Woman: I understand. Having to be told about the cause of a plane crash on its own, sounds pretty unusual right?

Me: Indeed.

Man: Where are our manners? I am Ace. This is my wife, Amy and our two kids - John and Becca.

Me: I am Nabia and these are my siblings: Biance, Cianco and David - we are pleased to meet you all!

Them: (happy; unison) Likewise!

We then all sat there, in silence. As the sun began to set, and John and Becca decided to sleep early, Amy decided to break the silence.

Amy: So...still keen on knowing all about the automated pilot theory?

Us: Yeah.

Amy: So...you see, whenever you book a flight with the automated pilot, you pretty much ride it on your own right? Did you face the same thing with your flight?

David and I: Yeah.

Max: How did you feel being by yourselves as siblings in a whole plane?

We all gave thought to the question.

Cianco: (happy) It was super cool!

Biance: It was concerning.

David: It was creepy but cool at the same time.

Amy: And how about you Nabia?

Me: I must truly say, like Biance that was extremely concerning and creepy.

Ace: Yes - while for you and Biance, it may seemed worrisome, for passengers like David and Cianco, it was awesome really...that is the bait they use to make people believe that they are safe, when in reality - it is just a way to kidnap people.

Biance: Kidnap people? In what way?

Ace and Amy looked at each other for a bit before turning to us again.

Us: (in our minds; in unison) Kidnap people? What does that even mean?!
