27-The Three Battlefields

MaIn the Outskirts of the Mountain Region, There were Numerous Fortifications with Black Metallic Walls. Cannons were placed above the Fortifications and defended every part of the Expedition Base. Within the Center of the Fortifications, There was a Simple Dome-like Structure. It was the Temporary Command Center of Rogue. In the Command Center, There was a Command Room where all observations and communications got placed. A Little Silver-White-haired Girl was looking upon the Holographic Map. She was observing her Army and the Enemy's Actions.

"Hmm... The March has begun, and the basic order has already been given." Rogue mumbled while looking at the Holographic Map. It seemed that the Enemy army still had observers up in the heavens. Rogue didn't bother killing the Observers as she wanted to have the Enemy Commander see her Strategy. Typhon's and Exodus's Holographic image appeared in front of Rogue. There were the commanders of her army, and she was the General that stood above it. They needed to discuss the strategies they had and reach victory.

"Master, should we discuss our Strategy?" Typhon asked with her monotone voice. Rogue nodded as it was time for a discussion to be made. The first one to talk about strategies was Exodus. He was leading the Army towards the Summit of the Mountain Region.

*Emperor, The First Strategy was about our Positions in the War. It is a fact that the Enemy has outnumbered us by 1 to 1000. I am ashamed of it as the Monster Race was supposed to be superior in numbers. Thanks to the Emperor's Grace, We have Typhon's Technology to assist us in the War. The Harvesters are also our Bastion towards Victory.*

"That's right... The Battlefield will be divided into 3 Points. The Alpha Point, Bravo Point, and Charlie Point. The Alpha Point is a Pathway near a Ridge. The Bravo Point is the Summit of the Mountain Region. The Charlie Point is within the Valley. We have divided our Forces into Three Groups. Which makes their Fire-Power less potent, but the same could be said against our Enemy." Rogue nodded as she knew that it would be hard to fight against overwhelming numbers without aid.

"Master's Strategy is to use the Cannons upon the Harvester's Backs. They are Long Range Cannons with a Range of 10,000 kilometers. They can survive the curvature of the Planet, and the Shell can easily survive against the Intense Heat. The Harvesters and the VanMonsters would bombard their Enemy before fighting in Melee. They can use their weapons against the Enemy." Typhon said as Rogue and Exodus nodded.

"Well... That is the Second Strategy, which is to bombard them with our Guns and Cannons. A Third Strategy could also get implemented. Killing their Commanders would probably cause Chaos upon their Ranks. I doubt all of them are Intelligent. There must be something similar to the Hivemind that they could use." Rogue said as her Third Strategy could help win the War.

*Isn't this the Emperor's First War?* Exodus's asked as he was remembered it was Rogue's First War. Their Emperor's First War and Battle against an Army with overwhelming Number. This should give them a good War-Track Record. "Master's First War... We should win this and bring Master the Bodies of our Enemies." Typhon said as she realized that it was the First War of Rogue.

"Hehehe... No need to be serious about that. I have experienced many things in the Virtual World. This war couldn't compare against it." Rogue said with a teasing tone while chuckling. There was no need for them to be serious about her First War. She has experienced numerous Wars during her Past Life. Although the scale wasn't the same, She could sometimes hear the curses of her Enemy and the Cries of her Comrades. The Current War was something she could handle.

"Master, Our Forces have arrived at their Position," Typhon said while looking at the Holographic Map. She already looked around to be sure that there was no third party looking at them. Hearing Typhon's words, Rogue nodded and looked at the Holographic Map in front of her. She stared at it and looked at the Enemy Forces that divided itself.

"Our Forces have 1/3 of their Original Power in each Battlefield. We need to relay the Enemy's Position to them to begin the Bombardment. The Enemy might have already seen our Army, and they are probably thinking about our numbers. We could use this against them... So I will no relay my Commands. Each Commander would manage a separate Battlefield. This could be a test between the three of us. I will also join the Test as I need my Command Abilities to be up to par for my Army." Rogue gave a Command as it was time for them to start the war. Typhon and Exodus nodded, and they began focusing on their Armies.

Typhon was commanding the Alpha Point Army, which was right next to the Ridge. It has 3,300 VanMonsters and 3 Harvesters within it. It was an Army right next to the Ridge of the Mountain Region. They would probably handle over 3 Million Creatures. Typhon was already analyzing the Movements and Possible Strategies of the Enemy.

Exodus commanded the Bravo Point Army. He stood upon the Summit of the Mountain Region personally. He was within a Harvester Body and had 3 Harvesters right beside him. There was the Army in the Summit of the Mountain Region, and they would probably fight 4 Million Creatures. It was Fortunate that the Terrain within the Mountain Region held back the Gigantic Army of the Creatures.

Rogue's Army was the Charlie Point Army. They stood within the Valleys of the Mountain Region. It was quite wide and would probably serve as a disadvantage against Rogue. She had 3 Harvesters with her and had over 3,000 VanMonsters under her command. She had full trust in Typhon and Exodus. She observed her Army using an Attack Drone and would probably use the Holographic Map to her advantage.

The War between the Two Factions was about to start. It was the Test for the Commanders within Rogue's Army. It was a Test for Rogue herself... Was her leadership turning into rust, or could it be once again polished into a Gemstone? It was a Question for herself and her Subordinates. It was their Test before stepping upon the Cosmos within the Heavens.

In the Ridges of the Mountain Region, An Strange Army stood upon the Land. Three Gigantic Behemoths stood as their Bodies were above the Ridges themselves and Thousands of Monsters below them. They had Black Metallic Armors on their Backs. The Turrets behind them were Long-Barreled Electromagnetic Cannons. The Monsters looked like Strange Alien Ants. Their Heads were Horrifying and Scary. Most Intelligent Creatures wouldn't even try walking with them or being near them.

The Monsters were calmly standing upon the Land as they waited for the Orders given by their Leader. Their Current Commander was Typhon, The Quantum Artificial Intelligence, and their Emperor's Right Hand. Within the Monster's Mind, Typhon's Monotone Voice echoed as she began ordering the Monsters.

"Subjects of my Master, Prepare yourselves as I shall be your Commander." The Monsters nodded after hearing her words as they accepted her as their Commander. The Monsters were quite accepting of different Commanders. They were quite used to it as their Commander changing was something not out of the ordinary.

"Then... We shall start the Battle against our Master's Enemies. Prepare the Artillery Position 0." The Monsters began lining themselves and pointed their Cannons up to the Skies. The Monsters were not observable, but thanks to the Holographic Map that painted the Land. It was quite easy for Typhon to calculate how much elevation and power her Army needed to attack the Enemy Army from a Longer Range.

Meanwhile, in the Bravo Point, Numerous Monsters were waiting in the Summit of the Mountain Region. There Commander was with them, and he was within a Body smaller than his Original One. He didn't complain about his Body being Weaker and Smaller as the Body he had was the proof of his Emperor's Hard Work. He also saw no need to have a Bigger Body. His name was Exodus. It was a name given by his Emperor. He was a Former Hero-Type Monster.

Standing upon using his Harvester Body. Exodus looked at the Mountain Region Summit and noticed that their Enemy was near them. He had 4 Harvesters with him if he included his own Body. He had most of the Army as almost half of the Enemy Army was marching in the Summit. Noticing the Enemy Army, He couldn't help but feel the excitement of participating in a War.

He looked back at his Own army and spoke with an Unparalleled Ancient Voice. *My Emperor's Army. Our Enemy marched against the Path of our Emperor's Glory. As Punishment for their Sins, We shall strike the Hammer of Power against them and let them know that we are the Emperor's Subordinates. Prepare the Artillery Position 0!!!*

*Understood...* All of the Monsters began lining up and pointed their Cannons up to the Skies. Exodus understood that he needed to give them information about their Enemy's Position. The Message has already been given, and the Monsters within the Army already knew where to Point their Turrets. They began powering their Cannons and were ready to fire their Emperor's Armor.

While the Two Armies were preparing their Cannons. In the Charlie Point. Rogue already had her Troops in the Artillery Position. The VanMonsters were on the Frontlines while the Harvesters waited behind them. It was a Simple Tactic as the Harvesters would be their Siege Machine Against the Monsters. She looked around the Battlefield as a Drone and noticed the strong seismic activity.

"I see... They must be tunneling through the Ground. It seemed that we aren't dealing with ordinary Creatures within this Side of the Battlefield." Rogue smiled within her Temporary Command Center while looking at the Screen. A Giant Hole slowly appeared, and numerous bugs began swarming out of it. It was a surprise to see a Giant Insect Army within this World. She smiled after seeing the Army as it meant that a Queen was ordering it.

"Bugs? Well... This is an unexpected species to see. I wonder if I could dissect them and see how they move on the inside. Although they aren't rare in the Cosmos, There weren't also common. I should be calm and probably kill the Queen by myself." Rogue said while closing her eyelids. She stood up and looked around the Command Center. The Two Commanders were focusing on their Own Battlefield. She sighed as she exited the Command Center.

"Let's meet this queen..." Rogue said as she began running towards the Charlie Point. She could use an Attack Drone, but she wanted to test her Armament Footwork. With this in mind, Rogue activated her Ability and noticed that Time around her was slowing down. It was her first time experiencing this, and she also noticed that she could move at a Great Speed while Time got slowed down. It was the Result of her Armament Footwork.

After running through the forest and arriving at the Valleys of the Mountain Region, She stood upon the Harvest while smiling. She held her sword tightly and looked at the Army of Insects in front of her. The Monsters were shocked at seeing their Emperor on the Battlefield. Only a Minute has passed since Rogue's voice couldn't be heard by the Monsters. They never thought that their Emperor would fight with them.

*URahhhh!!! Our Emperor will stand beside us on this Battlefield!!!* *URAHhh!!!* The Monsters cheered upon seeing Rogue standing with them. Having their Emperor fight with them was an unparalleled Honor for the Monsters. It was like standing beside a God that would fight right beside them. Such Honor boosted the Moral within the Monster Army, and they began craving for Biomass.

"Let's wage war against these Insects," Rogue said with a Cold Voice while pointing her Sword towards the insects. Her Golden Amber Eyes exuded the Dominance of a Ruler. It was time for the Mountain War to begin.
