4. Purple Drops.

The plan to use purple smoke rocks as a renewable resource was like so. Since they absorb sunlight, what I plan to do is make a gourd or jar or something, add some spatial expansion inscriptions so I can fit multiple stones inside. Then add some sun inscriptions so It could either absorb sunlight or I could use my spirit energy to activate the inscription and have the stones bathe in sunlight.

Then I could use a gathering formation to gather up the smoke, cleanse it of toxins and compress it into a liquid.

A gourd shape sounds best, have the bottom part of the gourd for stone storage, and sunlight, the top part collects the smoke and purifies it into the liquid.

"That should work. I'll just need some nice materials and a couple of supplies." I mumble.

As for releasing them to the city or selling them? Yeah no, there is a dark guild running about with demigod level experts and traitors in the city. Not going to happen.

Why would I do this if I'm not going to sell them? Because I can and it got my interest.

I have like 10 years to prepare for the bullshit storm that's approaching.

That's plenty of time to get my basics all settled and raise my cultivation.

It will probably take me 5 full days of cultivation per gold rank. Technically thats 50 days to reach black gold.

I also need to be rather discrete as I dont want to end up changing the future too much.

I could probably speed it up with elixirs and formations too.

I head out of my room and right out of the orphanage. I'm not eating the rice gruel they serve here, I'm planning on buying some more supplies today.

I purchase some delicious chicken skewers and start making my way around the stands, buying a little bit more bulk items, I also pick up a couple of dried gourds often used for water bottles, some cheap jade and inscription tools.

I plan to melt it down, add some gathering inscription to draw in spiritual energy and then make a couple of slots I can use to store the gourds, when I'm not cultivating it could power the purple drop gourd and store excess spiritual energy in the other gourd. That way it won't be wasted when im not cultivating.

Back at the orphanage I step into a large sand door and enter the cave of wonders and look around.

"Can you like change the shape just make it dome like and flatten everything out?" I ask. The shape of the cave right now is pretty bothersome since it basically just tunnels and rooms.

The entire place rumbles and shifts, treasures rattling and collapsing as the cave transforms into a singular large room.

The treasures I've got are separated, with things like the normal gold and treasures I got sorted into a large mountain and stuffed off to one side, the treasures and money i have for this world stored on the other side.

"Just separate the treasures and store them while giving me some space to work." Another rumble and the room is cleared besides some glow stones which I had picked up earlier. Which I stick to the wall for better lighting.

Once everything looks good I plop down on the floor and pull out the items I plan on using.

The 4 abstruse gemstone amulets, a pile of jade, some small engraving tools, my gourds, and some demon spirit blood.

Alright the first gourd then. I use my soul fire to burn out the inside of the gourds and remove the seeds and most of the inner wall.

A quick sanding to smooth over the outside, then I dip the brush in the demon spirit blood and start writing up various inscriptions on the bottom. Spatial storage, a high ranking sun inscription, and a cleansing inscription for toxins.

Once that is done I suck up the thousands of purple caltrop rocks, which are surprisingly a type of coral, which feed off sunlight and passively release the excess toxins. Wonder had been collecting them most of the night and day.

Around the center of the gourd I put a barrier so the rocks won't be ejected however it can suck up the smoke to the top of the gourd.

On the top I've also got spatial expansion, cleansing, collecting and cooling inscriptions.

So the coral is fed in the bottom releasing smoke which rises up while being cleansed, passes through the center, its cleaned again it the top and cooled where it gathers eventually filling up the top of the gourd with purple liquid.

Passive collection of valuable resources.

The second gourd is just going to absorb passive spiritual force and store it as a liquid, so spatial inscriptions, containment, absorption, cooling. It wont gather it on it's own as that would be far too slow and ineffective, however once u have the jade bed I'm planning to make finished that will provide the spirit force.

"Well 2 down 1 to go." I smile at my new gourds before turning to the pile of jade.

Most of the jade is from pill vials, or garbage jewelry.

I get started on a large formation on the ground. This will liquefy the jade and make it malleable so I can combine it together.

I start tossing bottles and jade chunks into the formation as I activate it.

It quickly liquified and turned into a massive glob of greenish white stone.

using my soul fire I quickly flatten it out and start etching inscriptions into the jade bed, not forgetting to add slots for gourds.

The abstruse gemstone gems are placed in the middle of each side making a diamond formation this will add to the gathering effect. With a nice spiral pattern and the gemstones I got more than 50x draw from the air.

However the problem is that ita causing a visible reaction in the air, a large vortex of pure soul energy can be seen rising from the bed.

I quickly insert the gourds to gather the spiritual energy with a smile.

"Ah that's the problem with treasures, if you make them too well others will more than likely want them." I frown as I wont be able to use this in the orphanage or it will 100% get sensed by other cultivators in the city.

The gourds are working perfectly though. The first one is lit up with a red bottom and blue top, the bottom one just glowing white and it absorbs the spiritual energy.
