Chapter 26 : Training

Ultimately, I'm dead, gone forever.

But my soul doesn't leave my body even after my heart has stopped functioning, I'm stuck on that dark place that is unknown to me, my own body if I remember science class correctly... I see a glimpse of light and follow it, it shrinks as I get closer to it and once I reach it, it disappears and so do I, bursting in pain and seeing that no one else is here other than me.

I can't even say anything, I can only wait...

At that last instant, I for a second wish to live and my wish is realized the same moment I wished for it, my body feels lighter and I'm on the Demon's lord arms, he holds me like a baby and gives me a smile with his skeleton face.

I am back to my body, my heart is beating fast and my breath is intact, I'm lost at words, he is the one making the first move while I stare at him, feeling safer close to him.

I leave this place and walk calmly, searching for witches, something I'm not used to, I mean I should just call this the Witch Hunt. All I have to do is find the witches of the Blacksoul family and he didn't say anything more, but I have the feeling that I should find Olivia too, where has she gone ? I'm searching everywhere around the place but nothing meaningful, just girls, men and women doing their daily routing of buying foods and goods.

There are 7 buildings around here. From left to right... a little bakery runned by children, they are onis, a big restaurant named Schgubulu, pronouncing it is like saying a magic formula from a fairy tale and we all know fairies are a lie, a myth meant to make children smile. Because if they really existed, they would have been eaten for a snack, my snack. And next to that restaurant there is what is called with the sign in front of it a Magic Energy Mesurer.

Without thinking I enter this last place and discover how poorly decorated it is after entering by the front door and there I see someone I wasn't expecting, my face must look funny to see because of shocked I am.

That girl running this place is the one who hates me the most, that damn girl who showed no mercy to me and called me a pig in heat, I no longer hesitate when I see her face and her darn smile making fun of me, I shuffle a big fire to scare her and it works since she crouches before it reaches her and my fire disappear.

"Your name is Sarah, I think." Yeah, I'm not sure if it is actually the case. "So, did Olivia say anything else she had to confess to me ?"

I roll my eyes and smile.

"Ah... that's right, that oni could have killed us both if that person was a bad person." adds the brother.

The sister gives a look at her nails then mine, both are pink so she has nothing to say about it, why should I care about coloring my nails anyway...

So torture it is, I guess the only other option is to fight which I'm not too fond of, especially because I lose everytime unless I have them with me, refering to my friends... These two clowns, I mean the two kind humans show me the way and pushes me in Olivia's direction. My soulmate is saying hello with her right hand and nods many times to say she is perfectly fine.

The two behind me, close the door and lock it, I'm now stuck with my only lover.

The way she is talking about it is scary as hell, does she intend to dismember me in the future ? Hell no ! But at the same time, when I see her hair and eyes, my body wants her to let myself drown with love... it really blinds me, but love, love is too important for me.

He disappears and I'm finally able to sleep but once I wake up after a few hours, I can feel a hot liquid flowing into me... and that's when I see an horrible vision that makes me scared for my life, a demon from my childhood is now here with his white hat on and enjoys using his carrot on my sacred place, I'm too scared to even move and he has the same voice... let it be a bad dream...

I am scared, I can't move and with what's left of my hope I scream in despair in the loudest possible voice before he puts his dirty thing in my mouth by force, it stinks so much and I can't resist... This isn't a dream... someone save me...
