"Hey, Jian" She called out to him. He turned back and look at her, frowning wondering what did she want from him. "What do you want?" He asked. "Let's separate." She said, emotionlessly. His frowned deepened, trying to figure out what she was thinking right now. "No." He replied and left the room. She glanced at the door where he made his exit. The feeling that she felt deep inside of her started to show on her face. Her heartbreak that no one knows, not even him could be seen through her eyes that hold back the unshed tears. The feeling of breaking apart, she felt it right now and then but she did not want to cry. She did not want to shed tears cause she was an emotionless and heartless woman according to them, especially him. That was why, no matter what she did not want to cry especially not in front of him. "Let me just be the heartless woman, Gui Jian." She whispered as a drop of tears fall from her eyes, unable to look away from the door where he left her be, alone in the cold mansion they called 'home' . ________________________________________________ "It's so okay, I comfort myself, Staying strong, cold, emotionless, Just like what's been expected of me, For, I am a heartless woman in your eyes." - Liu Ai Nuan

Magical Wands: A Cornucopia of Wand Lore

Author: Donald Firesmith is the prize-winning author of speculative fiction including The Secrets of Hawthorne House (teen paranormal urban fantasy), the Hell Holes series (alien invasion science fiction), and Magical Wands: A Cornucopia of Wand Lore (fantasy). Named a Distinguished Engineer by the Association of Computing Machinery, he is also the author of 7 technical books in system and software engineering. In his spare time, he crafts one-of-a-kind jeweled magic wands. It was only an old book that the professor found while traveling by train through Scotland. A scholar of medieval history, Professor George Smith was on sabbatical studying Scottish legends and myths when he chanced to meet an aged Scotsman and his granddaughter on their way to her new boarding school in the Isles of Skye. The young girl had accidentally left her book behind, and the professor picked it up meaning to send it on to her. But then he looked inside and discovered it was no ordinary book. It was a school textbook on magic. Could it be real? Could it have actually been left by accident and found by chance? Or was it all an elaborate hoax played on the unsuspecting professor? Did he ever find the secret Isles of Skye School of Magick? Did he ever discover the hidden world of wizards and witches implied by the book's very existence? Or did they find him? The professor vanished soon afterwards, and the answers are unknown. Read the book and decide for yourself. Magical Wands: A Cornucopia of Wand Lore is that textbook from The Isles of Skye School of Magick. The first chapter begins with a basic overview of magic wands followed by an introduction to magical theory including the four planes of existence (Astral, Spectral, Physical, and Daemonic), the five metaphysical elementals (Quintessence, Air, Fire, Earth, and Water), and the three preternatural phases of Light, Twilight, and Darkness. It also contains sets of the commonly used spells associated with each of these elementals and phases. The first chapter then describes the different types of wands, their components, how they are crafted, and how they are used to cast spells. Chapter two teaches the 17 principles of wand making. Chapters three through six comprehensively cover the materials used to make magic wands including magical creatures (both beings and beasts), magical woods, mystical crystals, and mystical metals. Chapter seven documents 26 famous and infamous witches and wizards, their wands, and how well their wands suited their needs. Chapter eight concludes the textbook by nicely summarizing the contents of the entire textbook. Each of the chapters ends with student exercises, the answers of which are included in the back of the textbook which also includes a glossary, references, and afterword by the editor. If you have ever wondered what young witches and wizards actually study in their hidden magic schools, then this book is for you.

My Rage For All

Izuku just got back the results of his quirk test. The four-year-old boy sat waiting in anticipation with a small figurine of All Might, the Number One Hero. He wasn't holding on to it very tightly as to not repeat what happened this morning. He still felt bad about the bathroom door handle... "Your Quirk is...a strange one, honestly. I can't even say I know what it's main purpose is." Izuku sat there in confusion. He looked down at the blue/black layer of skin that seemed to fade into his regular skin tone. From his shoulders down to his elbows, his skin was black with a blue tint. It went across his chest and upper back, continuing down to just above his ribcage. The bridge of his nose and the corners of his eyes were the same color. All in all, it looked like someone had painted the boy's skin in the affected areas. Even so, Izuku could feel no difference in how his skin usually felt. It was like he had always been like this. Izuku looked back up at the doctor, who sighed at the mystery of the boy's Quirk. "Scans have shown that his body is over five times as dense as a regular civilian's. His bones, his muscles, and even his skin tissue have this shared change in density. It's almost like every individual cell in his body is armored." Izuku got excited from the doctor's report. The room brightened as he gave his biggest smile. The doctor chuckled at the kid's energy. "As for parts of his skin changing color to what you see now, we're a little stumped. He allowed us to take a small sample and we found that it's a layer of blood that seems to have fused with his skin. It seems to have no Ill effects, but we can't figure out why it even happened. I recommend you and your son just keep an eye out for anything irregular, Ms. Midoriya." The woman nodded to the doctor, giving him a short bow as she and her son got up to leave. The doctor called out one last thing before the pair left. "Remember to give your Quirk a good name, young man!"
