chapter 1 destiny island day 1
It was the usual hot sunny day today was laying on the beach with my friend Sora, a young boy who's my prominent feature besides his goofy infectious smile was his big yellow shoes. When suddenly a shadow covered us looking up to what caused it was Kairi a young girl who was friends with sora and I.
"I knew I'd find y'all snoozing round here sora, akira" she said smiling at us as sora scrambled to sit it as Kari startled him.
"No! this huge black thing swallowed me up I couldn't breath I couldn't" sora was quickly saying as I flicked his head lightly.
"sora, are you still half a sleep" I said with a slight chuckle and kairi gigled a bit too
"but its true...or was it" he said thinking for a minute before a blue eyed gray haired boy came over named riku who i gave a wave to. He came over to us with a log he dropped as he neared us.
"I see I'm the only one working on the raft" he said also with a smile like the rest of us. "and yall are just as lazy as he is" he pointed to me prompting kairi to giggle
"so you noticed" she said as riku sat next to me and sora before kairi said "ok let's finish it together. I'll race y'all" she said pointing in direction of the raft she suddenly said ready go and the three of them took off. I stayed where was for moment just watching them with a smile before fully getting up and walking after them taking my time.
By the time I made my way over kairi was giving sora orders on what needed be collected before he left and she saw me and walked up to me
"Took you long enough slow poke" she chuckled before continuing "I just told sora what other stuff we needed so your free to do what you want"
"ah the hardest job you could give me so evil" I said trying to be sarcastic but as I was never the best at it it took her a minute before she relised I was. After she relised she lightly punched my arm before leaving and I just went back to the spot of the beach me and sora were before.
I sat down and looked round and found sora already goofing off fighting riku. They were fairly even and fought often though this time the winner was riku and sora left a bit dejected before looking at me and rushing to me and I just knew what he was about to ask.
Hey akira wanna spark" sora said and in response I just sighed I wasn't much of a fighter and I lost every time I went up against anyone.
"why me why not ask any the others" i said gesturing to all over as I had no clue where they were.
"because it'll be fun so common"he said grabbing my arm and I just rolled my eyes and got up as I knew he would keep trying he always dose.
We got into position with out wooden swords and he attacked me right away with a downward strike which I doged and countered hitting him on the head before he countered with a side slash to my side. It hurt a bit and I tried to do the same to him but he jumped over it and hit me on the head with the sword knocking me to the ground which signaled my lost.
"looks like I won't again you really need to practice more akira" he said holding his hand out to help me up which I took.
"you say that every time but like every time you know I'm too lazy" sora chuckled a bit when I told him that
"that's true but we wouldn't have u any other way" he said patting my shoulder.
"by the way shouldn't you be doing what kairi told u to do" after I said that he suddenly remembered what he needed to do and rushed off to do it and despite him just helping me up I flopped right onto the ground to continue lazing round.
Apperntlt I had fallen asleep by accident as I suddenly opended my eyes and the sun was setting. I looked round to see if the others had went home yet and I saw the three of them talking by the tree but they all started to leave by the time I got over to them. so I just said goodbye to kairi and after riku gave sora a paopu fruit and also gave them my goodbyes as they went home as well.
