King of The Dead

I used to think that death was in the end. I was wrong. Death is not the end, just another beginning. Reborn in a strange and familiar world, Adrian Klein should have been dead, his body rotting, but he has found himself in a completely new existence. Now as a god instead of a human, he must find his new place in the world. ~~~ I do not own the image. If you are the one who owns it, please tell me and I will take it down. This story is a fuse fic of the god of war saga plus overall Greek mythology with the world of DC, particularly its more mythological and divine parts. I own neither of them. The only thing I own is my OCs.

New Arrival

"I want to see your home," Hestia said to Hades who had just recently returned from his journey to find Hecate. The two were locked in an embrace in her temple.

He had returned after he suddenly left the halls of Mount Olympus without explaining to anyone why he left with the exception, which was still in the mortal world, Zeus had not begun the transportation towards the Skyland, wanting to wait until the birth of his child, until then Olympus would remain in the mortal world.

"You know this is not the thing I would have expected you to say to me" His words caused Hestia to raise an eyebrow "What did you expect me to question you about?"

"The fact that I saw another woman"

"That? I am not jealous, and I am sure that you didn't go towards Hecate because you wanted to get in her toga, and it is not because you told me that you would go towards her" She grasped his hand "But because I believe in you"

"I am really lucky to have you"

"Yes, you are" She smirked "Besides I am very sure you would have made your relationship with her official, you are like that"

"And you would be okay with that?"

"I am not sure," She paused to think before saying "if she truly loved you I would be happy to share you with her, because I know that if I didn't it would destroy not only her but, maybe, you as well"

"You are a very compassionate being sister" And Hades could almost imagine Hestia as an Indigo Lantern from DC except for the brainwashing part, Hades couldn't see her doing that.

Hades kissed her (he had already taken off his helmet), and was met with exactly zero existence on her part as she eagerly let him dominate her mouth before Hestia pushed him. Before he could ask what was wrong she spoke "You evaded my question, no kisses or anything else before that"

Hades couldn't believe that he just got cockblocked by the woman that pretty much said would put his happiness above hers, but he didn't feel any rage over that.

"Okay, okay, I am going, to take you to my home, but you aren't going anywhere without me understood?"

"Understood"

"Welcome my dear sister, to my kingdom," Hades said as he gestured to the Underworld. He had teleported them to the skies of the Underworld allowing the true beauty of the Underworld to be seen by Hestia. From the gilded walls of Elysium to utter peace of mind present in the Asphodel Fields. But to her, it was the skies of the Underworld that were the most beautiful.

It was night and that allowed her to see the purple moon high in the sky, and the millions of stars that dotted it. Stars from a dozen different colors were all put there to give the viewer a sense of grandeur.

"So, which place do you want to see first?"

"I want to see your home" Hades nodded and created another shadow gate for them to step through.

~~~~~~~~
Once again they were in the air. Looking down Hestia felt speechless, a massive golden palace surrounded by an equally massive city. From the sky, Hestia could see numerous beings walking or flying across the city.
"Who are they?"
"My creations, the Daemons," Hades answered with the pride of a craftsman in his voice. He truly did see the Daemons as his most favorite creations but didn't care that much for them, there are more like a tool he had built for the first time and came out better exactly as he hoped. Hades found that it sounded like a metaphor for humanity, except the part where it comes as the craftsman hoped for.
"You created an entire race?" Hestia was honestly surprised, while she knew that other species such as the humans and nature spirits, but were the products of evolution and magical chance, she never heard from a race created from scratch.
"Yes, and it was very easy, now shall we go to the palace?" Hestia smiled "Yes"
Another gate and they were standing in a massive throne room, large enough that both Titans and Gods could comfortably stay in their true forms. Hestia looked at the large stone throne at the end of the room, "Let me guess your throne?"
"Indeed, though I think that it would look better with another at its side"
"Or many others" Hestia teased
"There you go again" Hades groaned "Why do you insist so much on that?"
"I think it is because I want a big family, one that can get along and is bound not only by blood but also by love"
"And you not only believe that I can do that? But think that you don't have it already?" Hades' questions caused Hestia to sigh.
"It is not that, I am happy, with our siblings, our mother, and you, especially you" Hestia gave a kind smile "But I barely even know the rest of our family, our father, and a good majority of our uncles and cousins tried to kill us because they were afraid we would usurp them, after that we all went our ways, we barely speak with each other anymore"
"We all have our duties" Or at least Hades did, he knew that Demeter was responsible for the repair of the mortal world but he didn't know what the others did.
Given the damage that the war caused, it sure took a lot of time for it to return to its previous state, though he didn't know how long, time was starting to matter very little to him, so he didn't go out of his way to create a clock, though he probably should it wasn't important as of now.
"If duty is a good thing, then why its stop us - well most of us - anyway from interacting with each other like a family?"
"It is not just that, there are many other things, you saw how the minor gods looked at the Titans in Olympus"
"You are saying that will be us in the future? Divided between factions, utterly hating one another so much we will go war?" Hearing Hestia's question, Hades wanted to say yes but that could have consequences so he went with another angle.
"Well... it all depends on the choices that we make, if it happens or not I will move on with my life," He hugged her, two sets of amber eyes locked with each other "Also if they tried to hurt you, I would fight against them, no questions asked"
"Me too, if they hurt you, I would make them suffer" Hestia's eyes made sure that it wasn't a threat, but something that would happen, which gave Hades mixed signals.
"Oh right, where is your bedroom" Seeing Hades' dumbfound expression she giggled "Well we were rudely interrupted before we could... you know"
"Oh yes, it is this way," Hades said, holding Hestia's hand, and going in the direction of his bedroom.
I have a question for DC fans, is it possible to enter the Antimatter Universe with magic? Also yes, the next chapter is going to be the first R-18 chapter of the fic, wish me luck in writing it.
