Ch-38: Upgrade or Not

Aizen was just standing at his place with a pure smile, suddenly he pulled out his sword, "Shatter, Kyoka Suigetsu" The most fearful sentence I could hear in such situation, as the scene in front of us broke into pieces like glass. A new scene began to reveal in front of us, to say in simple terms, the four captains other than Aizen himself were turning into Hollows.

It's the same thing he did a century ago to the former Captains. Captain Komamura was screaming and went out of control, Byakuya trying his best to concentrate to not turn into a Hollow, as half of his face was already covered with the Hollow mask. Shunsui, for the first time, looked a little worked up, he scratched his head to wonder about a solution releasing them from such a disaster.

Only Gin was nonchalant, having his eyes closed like a Chinese, and his irritating smile, his face covered with the mask easily, and guess what, his mask didn't have eyeholes. "pfhh", a sound of mockery from me, enraged him. He quickly retracted his mask, which he seemed to be pretty good at.

And the most important thing, I could see such things clearly, because the four of them were circled around me, whereas Rukia was on Aizen's hand. He transferred all the energy released by the Hogyoku, transforming Rukia, to the Captains near him. He carried him like she was a twig, and took her towards the hill, where a near 50 meter long naginata placed. Oh no, The Sokyoku hill. 

Before I could move, 2 of the fully transformed Hollow captains attacked me from both sides. I had the perfect spell for the situation, Bakudo #20 Oyobi. Didn't used that for a while, it corrupted the minds of the targets, making them against each other. Both under the spell attacked each other, and I was miraculously saved. I ran towards Ichigo and gang to find them unconscious.

The large upgrades might have taken a toll on them, as I ran towards Aizen, I saw his doings. He already wielded the Sokyoku and was ready to fire it at Rukia. In an instant, all the powerful auras began to exert their pressure on the place. The first to arrive was Yamamoto Shigekuni, his grand entrance was a shocking one.

Before everyone else could arrive, he elbow punched Aizen, who just flew like a snapped kite. he rescued the weapon and said, "Who gave you the permission to use the weapon for execution? There is a law and order for everything, being decided by the Central 46". The other Soul Reapers arrived as fast as teleportation. Almost everyone was present, even Soi Fon and Toshiro, albeit a bandaged one.

Yamamoto looked at the Captains undergoing Hollowification, with red eyes. Then he viewed me with those bloodshot eyes and said, "Such a monster, having the power to willfully cancel the boundary between the Soul Reapers and Hollows, The Hollows reek of your Spiritual Energy, no denying it". 

Oh no Aizen got us good, and why did Shunsui came here, shouldn't he have brought Jushiro here to cause chaos with the weapon. The whole plot is now turning into a mess. Instead of pointing the Sokyoku towards Rukia, Yamamoto pointed it towards me, "Such a monster must be eliminated, I pray for you to have a better next life." And a huge red Phoenix shaped fire attack released from the Sokyoku towards me.

In a desperation, I used the very last spell in my arsenal, which is the only spell till now written in Golden font, guess a very powerful thing might happen. Bakudo #19 Han'ei.

<System >: Bakudo #19 Han'ei: Creates a reflective wall, which reflects the attack totally, as long as it casts an image on the wall.

And to my surprise, another sweet notification sounded.

<System >: Due to the User having an exposed radiation of an unknown energy, its being absorbed and a pair of perks have been unlocked:-

  1) The Spiritual pressure of the User have increased from miniscule, to large.

  2) The output power of the spells have been increased by 200%.

Is it a dream? to experience such complex situations, which may potentially change my survival in the present, as well as in the future, in a blink of an eye was really scary. The spell released and created a huge glass wall, and the most interesting part happened.

The huge fire based attack just entered the glass wall and its mirror image began to emerge from it. It was so shocking that, even the Captain Commander had his jaw opened. The mirror attack suddenly rose in size, accurately 3 times the size of the previous attack. The mirror could neutralize and even reflect any and all physical attacks, which sounds too overpowered from the rest of the spells, so there might be a catch.

As the spell almost hit them, all of the Captains sent their Vice away from the scene. They raised hands in unison, and casted a huge amounts of large spiritual walls to prevent it. The attack caused a widespread damage, so powerful to blow even me away, with my spell still active. As the dust cleared, more than half a dozen of Captains lay in the ground, wounded.

They couldn't even move their limbs, as they were burnt to crisp. The Vice Captains ran to tend to their respective Captains. Suddenly, out of nowhere, A dreadful voice, voicing my dreadful nightmare sentence, "Shatter, Kyoka Suigetsu." The transition effect happened again and Aizen revealed himself just beside me. Such a Jumpscare will become my nightmare fuel for years I can say for sure.

All the Captains looked at him in a skeptical view, as he pulled out Rukia. Yamamoto asked, "Aizen, what do you intend to do." He just pulled out his device, working like tree roots, and said, "Too bad", then thrusted his hands into Rukia's body, bringing out the raw Hogyoku, without a glasslike protection, and threw her away.

But my full attention was not on the scene as an interesting notification sounded inside my head, and the timing seems to be too perfect for it to happen.
