************ I walked into the class and was very happy it was empty. I needed a quiet place to cool off after the argument I had with Dad this morning. I fucking hate that man. I walked over to my seat and dumped myself there putting my face in my palms. I was startled when I heard footsteps at the door. "Who is here this early" I asked myself and looked up sharply. Immediately I got lost in her pretty blue eyes, I just realized I needed her, looking at her, I felt okay but she removed her eyes and moved to her seat to eat. "What is she doing here this early, Should I apologize to her for what happened yesterday?" I asked myself "No! Don't apologize" was what my mind kept telling me. I decided to just sit still and watch her. She ate like a goddess, chewing the food gracefully before she swallows. She finished eating and was going to trash the cup and paper bags when all of a sudden, she slipped and fell straight on my laps startling me. The cup and paper bags fell off her hands and she held me tight scared that she might fall. After a few minutes, she realized where she was and she looked up slowly starring into my eyes. I saw the scared look on her face, she bit her lower lip making her look extra cute and seductive. She was sitting on my laps and all I wanted to do at this point is kiss her full lips. I brushed strands of her hair aside, tucking it behind her ear, leaned in and was about to capture her lips when someone gasped at the door. "Fuck" I cursed in a low voice and pulled away from her. She whimpered and ran off. I looked at the intruder, she is one of Morgan's minions. I hissed and left the class for my private office.

Writer's POV

One month after the hot water incident, Candy recovered with no scars and she's relieved. Brian is trying to be nice to her to gain her attention but it's not working and it's really frustrating the hell out of him as he is not used to pleasing or begging anyone. Morgan is angry at the whole thing and is thinking of ways to deal with Candy.

Candy is now living a free life and she has become more friendly with most of her teachers, a few students and the boy who collided into her in the lobby and most especially Mrs Williams who was a mother figure to every student. Candy took a liking for her and she helps her out most times when she is less busy.

Candy's POV

"Mrs Williams, I think we need more fish and shrimps so that the pie would be tastier" Candy said while rolling some dough. "Okay dear go into the cold room and get some more. Oh and don't forget to get me frozen chicken". Mrs Williams replied smiling.

I nodded and rushed off to the cold room. I got everything except the shrimps. I went back to Mrs Williams and met Brian there about to order. He winked at me but I ignored him with a frown.

I turned to Mrs Williams and relayed observation. She heaved a sigh and said "Oh my, that's a problem. The boy who runs errands for me is not here today, he's on leave and I have to go home early today cause my grandchild is sick and I need to tend to her". She sighed sadly and continued "I don't how I'll go to grocery store today and still meet up with going to see my grandchild".

In order to cheer her up, I said "Mrs Williams how about I go to the grocery store for you and you just give me the keys, when I'm back I'll take the groceries and arrange them". She looked up sharply and asked "Are you sure you can handle it dear. I do need a lot of things and you can't carry them to the cold room all by yourself".

Before I could say another word, Brian pitched in and offered to help me carry the groceries. I forgot he was there all these while and I tried giving him a disapproving look to scare him off but he looks adamant.

I looked at Mrs Williams and she looked so pleased at his offer. I knew she would accept it and I wanted to freak out. I wish I can smack that evil smirk of his of his face.

I would've backed out if not for Mrs Williams so I have no choice, I'm going shopping with this guy. I growled at him and furiously attacked the dough I was rolling before I left.

Brian's POV

I was not expecting the plan I made with Mrs Williams to work out fine because I was thinking she would back out the moment I offer to help, but Mrs Williams encouraged me and it worked.

When I told Mrs Williams about my worries, she encouraged me to keep being nice and getting close to her, I tried and it didn't work so I told her and she decided to help me end the silent war between I and Candy.

PS: Mrs Williams is also a mother figure to our cold Brian.

I went to get the car ready and when I came back I saw Candy talking to someone on the phone. I heard a man's voice and got curious. I went closer and overheard her saying "I can take care of myself, I love you". I was confused and asked myself "Who does she love? Does she have a boyfriend?".

I immediately cleared my thoughts feeling a little jealous. "Wait!..... Am I actually jealous of someone I don't know?" I asked myself confused. Someone coughed and immediately turned around only to see her standing with her hands akimbo and she was starring daggers at me.

I put on my evil smirk again and said "Can we go now?". She looked at me twitching at her and ended up showing me the middle finger before moving towards the car. I went over to the driver's seat (I dismissed my driver), got in and was about to put on my seat belt when I noticed her struggling with hers.

I reached over to help her and our faces were so close that our noses were almost touching each other. She seized her breath, looked into my eyes and I got lost hers.

"How can someone be so pretty?" I asked myself. I looked at her lips and bit mine when all of a sudden she pushed me and said harshly to me "I can do it myself". I smiled and shrugged. I put on my seat belt and immediately zoomed off.
