Chapter 1: RWBY Superman

~??? POV~

The white endless void of practically nothing as far as the eye can 'see' in this place or dimension perhaps. As for how I got here well that is stating the obvious…

I'm a soul like those souls from Soul Eater of course.

The reason I got here is because I died of natural causes. That is by human killing humans.

By that I meant that I tried to help someone out get out of the trucks way before they suffered a fate of being isekaied. Now surely most would think that I died from it as well correct?

Welp no they would be wrong.

Unlike those people I managed to dodge on time saving a person life but here is where the funny part happens when I encountered the dastardly Trunk-kun. How you may ask?

Well certainly not that the truck had no driver as it began to turn around menacingly at me as it blinked its lights as I shove the kid yes cliché kid out of the way as I had a though coursing through my mind.

Oh fuck I dodged Truck-kun.

Then I died getting splat full speed trunk at me into paste not a way to go.

Before I could curse at the damn truck a ball of light suddenly appeared in front of me in this white void dimension.

As the ball of light came next to me it began how should I say somehow speak in this place where in the void, "Interesting… tell me young soul how have you wondered this far in the void than in the cycle?"

'Shrugging' at this I replied as normally as I could to the random being at this point, "No clue. Been here like I don't know few days or weeks I guess? Just died then sent here by that damn truck."

I heard what was described as a sighing from the random being as he replied to me about my situation as calmly as he could, "Sigh… Trunk-kun. Then that makes since and you managed to avoid one and miss his targets huh? In that case how about I offer you something in return for trunk-kuns mistakes. I do owe him a favor and with this call it even."

If this is going where I think it's going I decided to ask GOD for compensation then who am I to refuse, "Ok but can I ask for compensation then considering I was originally going to be in the cycle but ended up here instead can I get some stuff for in return. If its possible at least."

God just then replies about my request as he says to me what I wanted, "Hmm… very well then How about I grant you one wish that are within my power. However, you can't be instantly strong and has to follow the lore of the world."

Sweet!

I can live with that but now the real question is what should I go for is the thing…

Hmm…

If I have to follow the lore of the world then I can't ask the basic unlimited potential or instant mastery of what I get. Glancing at the ball of light that is God also replied to me what I thought about just now, "If you thought about getting those instant powers of infinite potential or instant mastery then that's a nope. Like I said it has to fit the lore of the world."

Well at least can't blame a guy for trying on that one. The real question though who should I go with so long as it fits the lore of the world…

Ok I already knew what I wanted from the start lets go all the way then as I spoke in a happy tone, "I want to reincarnate in the world of RWBY canon as Clark Kent from the RWBY/DC crossover with me having my aura already unlocked with his semblance."

God looks at me as it nodded its ball to me in a deep voice towards my direction, "Hmm… that is acceptable. It also fits into the lore with the RWBY/Justice League crossover and will have all the abilities."

Good seems like I can get the first one without much worry but now comes the next part since I can't exactly break the rules of the world I had to ask first, "Before going God. I have to ask though will the Semblance Sun Empowerment would allow me to mimic the elemental abilities of Dust?"

Thinking for a bit the ball of light finally replied as it spoke in an aged tone, "Hmm… its certainly acceptable. Even though in the beginning he would need time to know his powers but its acceptable but also need control over it. And can use Dust as a refueling source."

The ball of light that is god nodded its ball form as I suddenly vanished out of sight preparing for my new trip in the new world.

"Wahhh!!!"

Ugh…

What the hell happened to me and where exactly am I in?

Observing around myself I happen to see a person clothed around herself as she cries a lot as she tells me in a raspy tone in a home, "I'm sorry my son but please know that I'm doing this for the boundless love and… know that I love… you..."

Clearly around myself at the person in question, as she had black hair and green eyes, I see tears fall as I was then held onto the arm of someone else glancing at the home as I saw the face of an old man.

I know where this cliché is going, and I have seen many and I mean MANY isekai anime and novels to know where this is going. But it is sad that my mother died though.

From the looks of things, my mom is already long gone before I had the chance to do anything but cry in my baby body.

Glancing up at the old man in front of me I can already tell that this guy is taking pity on me that was holding me as he spoke, "Sigh… my poor boy, you are like the rest, but I promise to take care of your young lad."

Well I guess nothing comes easy I suppose but then again nothing in life is ever truly free. Now then from what I can tell I seem to live in a village but where exactly I don't know?

But I do know in the past of Clark that he once worked in Dust mines, being manipulated to work a contract that left him too weak to move. And because of that he is also shown to be scared/nervous around Weiss or the mention of the Schnee name.

Whatever the case maybe I just have to be careful in this world.

Frankly though I suppose I could consider myself lucky that I chose a counterpart of Superman in this world with the basics of his power and bonus from here in Remnant if I can learn to control it that is.

Clark's Semblance is Sun Empowerment. it gives him super strength, speed, heat vision and flight. According to him, his Semblance can only work from the light of the yellow sun meaning that during the night time he can't use his Semblance and according to his knowledge he can't store the sunlight up to use his Semblance during the nighttime.

It is described as letting him do anything that Dust can, although it is unknown whether it allows him to mimic the elemental abilities of Dust, or if the statement merely refers to the use of Dust as an energy source.

Good thing for me though that GOD confirmed it allows me to do both and I'm really thankful so. I may be human but if I can control the element of Gravity and train constantly under the weight of it I could potentially become the strongest there is on Remnant.

Big brain move on gravity but then comes the Semblance Sun Empowerment weakness only working during the day.

Which can be overcome if I either one get ores to the highest corners of the globe where sunlight is a constant or be able to perfectly use Hamon in this world. That is also not so difficult to do because it requires breathing techniques.

And it can be learned by anyone really to do it. Even I could if given the time to be able to replicate it into being.

Still though I should probably do my best and learn a lot what this world has to offer and coming from the village here I should make it possible for me to learn where I am from at the very least.

I'm hoping my bets being Vale but then again I never specify where exactly to reincarnate to but considering the outside forest life through the windows. I can tell I'm either in Patch, Vale, or Mistral to have these settings.

Atlas and Mantle are too dirty and cold to be felt here. Guess I should take this time to relax first before testing out my abilities to the fullest.
