I just left the company when Joseph called my personal number.

Joseph is a human but knows little about our world. Let's just say he did some jobs for Elliot years ago and since he aged and Elliot still looked in his late twenties he started asking questions and Elliot couldn't just kill him or compelled him so Elliot filled him in and since then he has been proposing a marriage between his daughters and Elliot.

According to Joseph, it was going to be his last daughter's nameday and Joseph properly hopes Elliot will take a liking to her.

I must say I was surprised when Elliot said he was going to attend, gatherings like that was never his style. He did prefer to be boxed up in his office all day, `his major problem with Lizzy.'

Back in Moon Lake Growing up my father was king Kael's gamma so I pretty much grew up with Elliot and his siblings.

Sometimes I miss the old days when there was no war and all supernatural beings lived in harmony.

But as much as things aren't going exactly well I still left Louise, my daughter, there I fear she would be worse if she ever live with humans.

Ever since her mother's death, she became so difficult my once sweet and obedient child turned into whatever she is now.

I miss my mate but it's been over a century and I am trying to just move on, my baby girl is a hundred and fifty but look and acts like eighteen .she can be difficult. but to me, she's the best

Twice she has sent her caretaker to the hospital I sometimes fill she just wants my attention that's why I try very much to visit her but no matter how much she begs me I could never bring her here humans are too complicated for my liking.

But what I and Lizzy once had I plan on igniting that fire again, it might sound selfish I hope she never finds her mate cause I wouldn't survive seeing her with another man.

Eric pov

"It's been too long Xavier how is the crystal jar not anywhere..."

I said to Xavier

"My lord, I think ..."

"You think? I don't pay you to think you imbecile"

I cut him off

"Why are you all so incompetent?" I almost shouted robing my forehead trying to think of something that thing exist for all I know and Athena even said it was here in the US

"Get ready we leave in two days," I said to Xavier as he strode off

walking back and forth one would think the world is about to come to an end with the look on my face. Right now all I need is to let off some. steam that's when I remember my precious white lily I haven't seen her in days almost like she is avoiding me but we both know how she can never actually resist me.

I wonder why Elliot keep interrupting my moment with her once he threw me to the wall. One thing I respect about that shithead called my brother is his value with women after Zarah he had other girlfriends but always had strict rules that's why I question why he seems interested in mae.

With a wide grin on my face, I walked out of my room searching for her.

Elliot left for the office already so I will certainly have a nice time with my love. Funny how I feel about this petite human I have a long list of girlfriends begging for my love and here I am falling deep for someone who doesn't actually know me.

If only I could get her to love me as I do then to hell with everything else.

Right now I am heading to the second floor she wasn't in the kitchen not in her room either. her assistant said she was around somewhere and foolish me is looking for her like a child looking for his favorite toy.

Stepping outside to the gardens I saw her she must really love lavender because she was all smiles she seems to be enjoying herself spinning and spinning but when she caught sight of me the smile disappeared.

Suddenly she looked on guard like she was going to attack me if I came closer. good luck with that I thought with a smirk on my face.

Hands in the pocket I took long strides and within seconds we were feet from each other.

"Why are you avoiding me, Mae is it, Elliot, you..".

" It's not your brother just live me be..". She snapped at me.

"Okay, so it's not Elliot then what's wrong how many times must I tell you how I..."

"I don't want to hear it, Eric I am sorry but please just stop already..."

While she spoke she didn't notice how close we now were. With my palm, I caressed her cheeks and that calmed her tensed body down I wonder why she is tensed in the first place.

Snapping out of the feeling she pushed me slightly and ran away.

What with her these days if Mae is not going to love me as I want her to then I'll take her by force I believe my love Is enough for us both.

With an evil smirk, I approached her room.

Seems she forgot to lock the door. She jumped in fear as I barged in.

" you do know you can speak to me my love why do you look like you have just seen a ghost?"

She looked so paled. Now I Was convinced Elliot has threatened her I hope he hasn't done anything to her cause I would kill him.

Before she could reply I pushed her against the wall. my hands came up to cradle her face. I stared at those beautiful green eyes like I was in a trance. She was everything to me the way she breathe her smile, everything about her always leave me in a trance. She is my precious lily and will always be precious to me I just need her to see it for herself.

My thumb then ran across her cheeks caressing them down to her soft pink lips

"Do you know how much I've missed these lips, Mae please don't run from me I love you more than you can ever think "
