Derrick POV

Ichigo knows something. I knew the moment we were talking about the subject that he was too evasive about it, and just as I was about to leave, he gave me a box of cigars for the young Lord Hei. This is getting weirder and weirder the more I look into it.

Edward POV

It's been two weeks since I started training with Matt, and so far our progress is probably what you expect from two people who don't know what the hell they are doing. I asked Madam Everly if she knew who could train us and unlock our aura, but no luck. All she said was that it would be too expensive to take us to a teacher, and the worst part is that I HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY CHEAT. What is this? Why isekai me and not giving me anything if only I could remember more? For some reason, I've noticed I'm forgetting everything about my other life. I have tried to write down everything I knew before all my memories left me.

I have also started to look for a job around the city. Not only that, but I have noticed how hard it's been on the orphanage lately. The secret donor hasn't given any money to Madam Everly lately, and don't get me wrong, we still have enough money for a good month, but I would like to help around more, and I also kind of need money for a teacher or at least someone who would unlock my and Matt's aura, so we can get more used to it. Why is life so hard? Why couldn't I have been born into a rich family that doesn't have to deal with problems.

Hei POV

Something is wrong. This doesn't make sense. lil Miss is too smart to break one of the rules, and Father knows just what the hell is going, and why would he say that in the emergency meeting without letting me know first, Just what the hell are my spies doing!?.

(Flashback)

third-person POV

"Dio they have broken the second rule"

Just that was enough to make everyone in the room question the stupidity of that claim, not because they did not believe Lord Xiong, but because that rule was almost impossible to break knowing that the young lord was sitting right in front of everyone.

"Father, what do you mean rule number 2 has been broken? That rule states that no family member of the leader of a crime family can be attacked without first making a declaration of war, and as far as I know, I'm your only family you have left"

Every other leader had to acknowledge junior's reasoning as they themselves had to the question to Lord Xiong, but the next words were about to change everything and bring the end of the peace they once had.

"You see junior after your mother's death 15 years ago, all I did to keep myself together was work and drink alcohol every day, wanting more than just to end myself once you grow up, but I met someone eleven years ago, a beautiful woman that made me feel alive again, but I scared junior that she would meet the same end as your mother, so I hid her and our relationship from everyone, and then ten years ago, my youngest son was born."
