The Dictator

Pao Guang before leaving the lobby spoke to Haoran, "I'm sorry that I couldn't be a better teacher for you. I'm going to have to run away from the Emperor for a long while, I don't think I will ever be allowed to come back."

"Will you be alright?", he asked.

He responded, "There is a criminal group in Japan called the Star religious group They have already offered me shelter in case things go amiss."

Haoran wasn't surprised. He was already aware that Guang had been planning to disappear for a long while now, it was just a matter of time. But before he left the room he told him,

"I will miss you ya know. You were the best teacher that I've had."

The old man, couldn't say anything. He wasn't good with words however Haoran could already understand his feelings. Guang had been training and teaching Haoran ever since he was a child. The Emperor was never a good father, so Haoran always sought guidance from his master. It was because of that fact, that the two had gained a relationship akin to a grandfather and their grandson.

Haoran struggled to hold back his tears, as the old man left.

Qiang then asked Haoran, "The end of this game will arrive tomorrow. How are you feeling?"

"The opponent is weak, but he hides something from everyone.", he simply stated.

Zheng then asked him, "So are you saying you could lose?"

He confidently then responded, "Nah I'd Win"

Meanwhile in Japan, Shibuya Power Plant.

A black-haired young man walked down a dark corridor. His eyelids were baggy as well as slightly tinted in red, while a black horizontal line travelled just above his nose. His equally black stringy hair was tied into two ponytails that extended just above his head. The outfit he wore resembled that of the Tokyo Jujutsu Tech academy outfit however, it was divergent in that fact that he wore a black round scarf.

As he walked into a dimly lit room, he found himself standing before, Two great gates that sealed away the entity known as Tengen. Eventually, a dark-haired girl wearing the same uniform but with a scientist's lab coat walked behind him. She spoke out,

"Chief of Security Choso, might I ask what you're doing down here?"

Choso grunted before replying, "My job."

"Waiting down here for 20 hours won't bring him back you know."

The man simply remained silent.

The woman continued, "For the last 7-8 months Tengens Cursed Energy has been fluctuating in a similar way to that incident from 8 years ago. I tried to get information about the incident from that time, but the higher-ups kept denying me access despite me being a special grade."

"What do you want.", he asked. Choso was clearly annoyed at her endless amount of yapping. This was something that he had been dealing with for the last 2 years.

She then asked, "I found out recently about how old you actually are. You must have been around during that thing's birth right? Can you tell me about it?"

He bluntly responded, "No."

"You're such a buzzkill", she said as she continued to yap. "Have you watched the Cursed battle tournament recently? I was thinking about participating in it this year but I'm not a big fan of the new games section that they added. The Japanese teams' leader seems really interesting, his cursed energy possesses a special trait. I might make him my next object of research."

Choso then asked her, "How long are you going to bother me for."

"You are the only other interesting person here! I just can't resist.", she replied.

"You will have to return back to Jujutsu Tech eventually Kusanagi", Choso told her.

Kusanagi then responded, "I'm going back tomorrow. I heard that Isshin would be returning from his mission soon, so I wanted to prepare to run some more tests on him. The heavenly restriction that he possesses is really interesting. His brain still possesses an innate technique ingrained in it, but his body itself seems devoid of Cursed Energy. It's a shame really, if he was able to make use of it he could probably defeat even Gojo Owari."

"What does this have to do with me again?"

This was Chosos' daily routine. In the morning he would get up and eat, as he is a Death painting born from a cursed womb the need for food was almost zero. He would then spend 20 hours of his day watching over the gate that contained Tengen, why he does this? No one knew. Eventually, during these hours, Kusanagi would always interrupt and bother him with science and things that he did not understand. She was currently working in Shibuya as an overseer for the power plant, however, it was only temporary. As his 20-hour shift ended he would spend the remaining 4 hours of his day taking a nap, this lack of need for sleep was again thanks to his cursed spirit bloodline.

This was the daily life of Choso. One that he had been carrying out diligently for the last 8 years.

The next day in Russia

The audience screamed and shouted in excitement. Today was the last day of the Cursed battle tournament, and the last round to decide who would win between the countries, China or Japan. As the audience cheered and shouted Forsty Whipp finally made his appearance.

"ARE YOU ALL READY???", He shouted.

Not even words could describe how energized they were. The game was finally approaching its climax.

Leonie then took over, "Unfortunately Tyreece was feeling a little ill so he is currently sitting this match out. However, we were able to get a hold of a very important guest to take his place."

Frosty Whipp blocked her microphone while shouting over his, "INTRODUCING THE MIGHTIEST EMPEROR OF CHINA, LING FENG."

The audience went silent. Not out of shock but from fear. Before Emporer Lings rule over China, it used to be a socialist country. However one day Feng had grown in power so much that not even their president had any authority over him. Eventually, he grew bored of his relaxed life and so he decided to wage war with his entire country. Within 6 months this man had single-handedly beat and killed every single sorcerer, that stood against him. Once he remained at the top he declared himself the absolute ruler, if anyone did try to rebel against him, then he would destroy them with an iron fist. Even Russia had no choice but the let this man enter the country out of fear of what this person could do if they said no.

Frosty Whipp asked Feng so that everyone could hear, "Would you mind giving us your thoughts on this match?"

The silence in the arena continued as he spoke, "There isn't much that is needed to be said. My son is the strongest competitor in this game, if he loses then he shall be considered my son no longer, much like his sister before him."

Ling Xia was also a powerful sorcerer who was a martial artist who was comparable to Haoran when she was of the same age. However, once she lost to Gojo Owari, in a previous Cursed Battle tournament, she was cast out of China. Her current status and location remain unknown to this day.

"How about you try lightening up the mood by telling us a joke?" Frosty Whipp asked him.

He thought hard before speaking, "Why did the chicken cross the road? TO GET TO THE OTHER SIDE!", he shouted with a straight face.

Nobody laughed, in fact they all cringed at the horrible pun. That was when he shouted while striking fear into everyone.

"I TOLD A JOKE SO LAUGH. MY JOKES ARE FUNNY."

Everyone in the arena began to laugh hysterically. They all knew that if they didn't listen to this person's demands, they would all be killed on the spot. Even Katerina had no choice but to watch.

"CAN THE COMPETITORS, SAIGO AKUMU AND LING HAORAN ENTER THE ARENA!", Frosty Whipp declared.

As the two competitors approached from either side the two immediately locked eyes on each other without saying a peep. This was the only opportunity that they could have to analyze the other before the match started. Manurisms, neutral postures, and even the smallest habits what was going to decide the winner of this fight.

Leonie then shouted, "We have a second special announcement, as this will be the last match of the games we have prepared a special field fit for the competitors to fight in."

just as she finished her words, a glowing hexagonal square appeared under the two men, sending them away to an unknown space.

The two stood on a large empty field made of dirt and some grass. There were very few trees, but what was the most stunning were the tall skinny rock formations that surrounded them.

"This design was inspired by the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China, we hope that you will be able to fight with your full potential where we will be safe from harm.", she said.

Frosty Whipp then shouted over, "NOW THAT FORMALITIES ARE OUT OF THE WAY LET'S BEGIN THE FINALE GAME!"

The final countdown then began as the two warriors readied themselves for battle.

3..2..1.. GO

The fight for the title of strongest began.
