The whole group sat around the injured Kenji. His wound was already healed by the Doctors Reverse Cursed Technique, however, his wound still ached so the group sat around his bedside.

Omo-sensei then asked, "So who would like to explain what's going on? And also who brought this old man here?"

Akumu responded, "This guy is a store owner who lives a couple blocks down. He was getting harassed by some people from the assassin syndicate."

"Assassins?" Omo asked in confusion.

Akumu then bluntly replied, "Someone put a 10 Billion Yen bounty on my head."

Suddenly cursed energy began to uncontrollably emit from Omo, which pressured Urushi. Omo then shouted, "If you dare try to hurt one of my students, I won't hesitate to kill an old man."

The unfazed Urushi responded, "Im truly sorry for what happened. He really just got mixed up in some old business of mine, I apologise greatly."

Seeing the compassion in the man's voice, Omo quickly backed down.

Akumu then said, "Before I could find out who put the bounty on me, the first Assassin that I fought in the hotel was killed. Yumeno then said, "So that explains the injuries. There was some destruction, but there were no bodies from what I could tell."

Omo then stated, "I could smell someone else's blood in the air, but I couldn't recognize whose so I just assumed my sense of smell had dulled.

Taori then muttered quietly, "It's my fault I guess."

The entire room went silent from what she had just said. Omo urged her for an explanation but she struggled to figure out what to say.

That was when Kenji suddenly grabbed her hand and said, "Speak from the beginning. You can trust us."

Taori took a deep breath as everyone in the room silently listened to her. She began to talk, "It was around 8 years ago."

A small skinny girl ran through what seemed to be a market place as she held onto a large loaf of bred. She wore dirty clothes, and her long dark hair was incredibly dirty and unkept, but her crimson red eyes, were filled with life as she struggled.

Within the crowd that she ran through, a single voice of a large brawny man screamed at her, "SOMEONE STOP THAT THEIF."

Before anyone could grab onto her, however, she had already disappeared. As everyone looked for her, the girl had already disappeared into a dark alleyway where she snuck into a large abandoned building.

As she navigated through the abandoned fortress of steel she eventually came upon a large steel gate with a small hole that was dug into the ground, it left just enough leeway for her to slide under, dirtying her already stained clothes.

As she snuck into a large building, the girl quickly hid inside one of the dark rooms, that was a common sight in the building. There was no electricity and there was no fire either. This was the orphanage that Taori used to live in.

As the girl entered the empty room she called out, "Mitsuki?? Nagato???"

Just as she said that, 2 other skinny children, that were equally dirty emerged from the shadows.

2 boys both with black hair quickly rushed towards her. Taori then quietly spoke, "I was able to get a large portion this time, so make sure you guys eat your fill."

She carefully divides the bread between the three leaving none for herself as she stuffed one of them under her clothes. The skinniest of the 3 then asked, "Are you not going to eat any onee-san?"

"Don't worry about me Mitsuki, Im not hungry. Fuuko needs it more than me."

Worryingly Nagato splits his portion in half while declaring, "It's okay, I can still get by with what the director feeds us."

Trying to reject his offer, Taori quickly runs out of the room leaving the two other boys behind. Mitsuki patting Nagato on the back says, "She is always like this ain't she?? She never worries about herself more than others."

As she ran through the dimly lit corridors she eventually came upon another room. This time it was filled with lots of, dirty sleeping futons, yet among them there was one single bed. On it laid a skinny green-haired girl whose arm was attached to an IV infusion.

As she struggled on the uncomfortable bed she slowly got back up sensing that someone had entered the room.

"Is that you Taori-chan?", She asked.

Taori quickly jumped onto the stool next to the bed as she said, "I got more food from the bakery, Fuuko."

Disappointingly she asks, "Did you steal it again?"

Taori ignoring the question urges her to hurry up and eat the bread.

After a while, the two began to talk. Fuuko says, "I don't have that much time left to live you know. This disease that I have... malediction lethargy. It is incurable."

Taori then shouts, "I don't care. As long as you can continue to eat properly you will be able to live."

"You and I both know that's not true Taori", She responded.

Despite everyone at the orphanage not being related, Taori loved them very much.

As Taori struggled to cope with what Fuuko was saying the door to the room swung open revealing, a tall but elderly woman, who was wearing a dark blue buttoned shirt with rolled sleeves. As she walked into the room, Taori immediately gasped in shock.

"What did I tell you about coming in here you stupid girl?!", she screamed.

As Taori quickly tried to apologise, she grabbed her by the arm before dragging her out of the room.

"You just don't learn, do you?? How many times must you be punished before you finally learn your place??"

As she said that she dragged Taori away who was screaming in fear, "WAIT PLEASE IM SORRY. I WON'T GO OUT AGAIN JUST PLEASE DON'T PUT ME IN THAT ROOM."

She responded while shouting, "IF YOU LEARNT YOUR LESSON THEN I WOULDN'T HAVE TO KEEP SENDING YOU IN THERE."

As the two fought while Taori was dragged across the orphanage, The director came upon a heavily caged door. As she undid the locks, the woman swung the door open revealing a flight of stairs that traveled down into the darkness.

As she still held onto Taori with her right arm, she threw the girl into the depths below.

Taori who injured herself while falling down the stairs, quickly got back up as she tried to escape out of the room. The director however quickly locked the door trapping her inside in the darkness.

"Maybe you will learn your lesson if I leave you in there with them for 6 hours."

This room was not just evil in the fact that it was impossible to see inside, but it was terrible in the fact this room contained a shikigami that the director had trained herself, to punish children that she deemed, "Unfit". The shikigami was trained to be intelligent enough to torture the target as well as torment them with harsh words. Thanks to this, the room was nicknamed, the chamber of reformation by the children of the orphanage.

From the corner of the room emerged several skinny great arms that reached towards Taori as she banged against the solid door.

Taori screamed, "HELP ME, IM SORRY."

One of each arm grabbed her by each leg as both of them dragged her further into the darkness. As she struggled to break free from the curse, a voice whispered inside her ear,

"This is why, your parents abandoned you in this shithole. You were just another weak child that meant nothing to them."

The curse then threw her into the wall knocking her unconscious as it continued to talk.

"You think Im going to let you off that easily?"

From the darkness emerged a set of hands that morphed into needles as well as various other objects of torture. As it injected a strange drug into Taori, she weakly woke back up to see a nightmare of a creature standing above her.

Its face was trapped in an eternal smile, as it bled constantly from its eyes and mouth. It then uttered terrifying words,

"You thought that I was going to let you off easily?? We're going to have so much fun together."
