For the coming years, Taori had lived the life that she was used to. Wake up, go to school, then return home to a warm meal. However, something had now greatly changed. Her father was no longer as loving as he once was, and now he would constantly remind her of the orphanage's life dangling by a thread.

When she returned home she would be forced to train in the ways of the sword, as well as a variety of other killing techniques under Botan himself. At some point, Taoris' killing techniques had developed to the point where at the age of only 14, she could already kill grade 1 sorcerers.

After 5 years passed, Botan had declared Taori as fit for killing. However, to prove her loyalty to the Daihatsu, she must first kill an important figure in the Jujutsu Society. The current and future director of Tokyo Jujutsu Tech, Katsumi.

Botan told her, "This mission will not be easy. The only other assassin that I know, who can pull something off this big has retired, and so this will be used as a test to see how far you can go."

Once she heard who her Target was, she began to get shaken up. Katsumi was a mysterious man even among the higher-ups of Jujutsu society. All the records on him, past his graduation from Jujutsu Tech as a 3rd year, had been completely erased. The only thing about him that anyone knew was that he was at least, a special grade 1 sorcerer. Even records on his Cursed Technique were missing as well as his appearance.

Taori knew that she would be entering this mission blind, but it wasn't like she had a choice, in the first place.

Botan then said, "You won't be going in alone of course. You will be accompanied by two other grade one sorcerers as observers in this mission. They will help out but they won't directly interfere in Katsumis' death. Do you understand?"

Taori nodded silently as she left the room.

Before she could, however, botan shouted, "Feel free to use the Muramasa blade. I had kept it away from you, but since you are ready now feel free to use it. The blade gets stronger the more blood it's soaked in, so make sure you kill a lot of people before you fight him."

2 weeks later

It was now midnight, the least active time for Jujutsu sorcerers inside the school. Taori hadn't picked this time for no reason, it was this time that curses were most active so in consequence the stronger sorcerers would have gone to kill all of them. Taori armed with the pure white Muramasa, stood behind at the back of one of the walls outside the school. She wore a pitch-black ninja-like outfit, as two other men dressed in similar outfits, stood next to her.

Taori quietly said, "The whole school is surrounded by a simple barrier that prevents entry from the outside. One of you will use an anti-barrier technique to temporarily punch a hole in the barrier, but not destroy it. If you do the cursed corpse that is responsible for checking the condition of the barrier will notice, and alert all Jujutsu Sorcerers nearby. You should be skilled enough to open a hole and as well as close it within less than a second. We will use that opportunity, to sneak into the school. Once we enter you will stay here to open another hole for our escape."

The assassin understanding the assignment, jumped onto the quiet wall of the school. He slammed both of his eyes together while making incredibly quiet and quick chants. He then whispered,

"Simple Domain: Wandbrecher"

This technique was a Simple Domain expanded upon by, a German sorcerer who used it to break into enemy encampments during the Jujutsu War. This technique isn't known by many as it was strictly kept secret, however, the Daihatsu was able to obtain it thanks to its enormous influence. In exchange for learning this technique, a binding vow would be created that prevented, this technique from being copied by others unless another person from Germany were to teach it. As a result, only a limited few members of the Daihatsu were even aware and nevertheless able to use this technique.

In the single second that the hole was opened, Taori and the other assassin successfully broke into the school, unnoticed.

As the two jumped through, the school's shadows they traversed through a variety of buildings while remaining hidden. Taori heartlessly killed anyone who may have sensed the two, while the other assassin quickly cleaned up their bodies, never interfering in the murders.

As the two searched for the director's location Taori eventually tortured one of the weaker staff members who had remained on the site. The woman shouted from fear,

"He is at the top of A block."

As soon as she gave that answer she immediately decapitated her head, staining her blade in even more blood. At some point during her massacre, her blade had gone from a pure white colour, into crimson.

The other assassin who stood on standby immediately crushed her corpse into oblivion.

As the two continued their stealth mission, the two stood before, a blood-red oakwood door, that had a golden nameplate engraved into it. The name read: Director Katsumi.

Knowing that she had reached her destination, Taori instantly broke into the room. As she did she was met with, a platinum blond-haired woman, who wore an unrestrained black straight jacket, with a zip collar that reached past her mouth.

As Taori made eye contact with the woman she immediately opened up her simple domain while shouting,

"Yama style swordsmanship: flash pillar."

She quickly draws her blade while aiming for the woman's throat. As she did trails of red lightning poured out of her assisting in her technique power.

Just before her blade could meet the woman though, the woman's zipper, came undone, revealing a snake and fangs symbol that sat over her mouth.

She then spoke, "Hold still."

As she did, Taori immediately froze in the air defying the laws of physics. The assassin seeing that the mission had failed, quickly retreated leaving her behind.

As she struggled to break free from the invisible hold on her, the woman struggled to zip back up her collar as the black straight jacket, covered her arms.

Then suddenly a tall thin man with an even bowel cut and fade entered the room. He wore black pants, and a long black coat, while a scarf that appeared to be made out of an analogue film wrapped around his neck. In one arm he held a bright blue film camera for filming.

As he pointed the camera towards the still-frozen Taori he playfully said, "So the movie star has arrived?"

As he nodded towards the platinum-haired woman, Taori immediately fell from the ground. Taori now breaking free, aimed her blade while charging towards the cameraman. He then said, "The Daihatsu Orphanage."

As he said that Taori immediately ceased her movements, of her own volition while shouting at him, "How do you know about that place???"

The man still filming responded, "All the promises that Botan has made with you thus far have already been broken. Or in fact, it would be fair to say that you have been duped."

Taori angrily shouted, "What do you mean?"

The man then pulled out what seemed to be a remote from his pocket, and then pressed the play button.

As he did the room turned completely white and then converted into a replica, of the new orphanage that Taori's former family had been moved to.

Taori shouted while panicking, "What is this??"

The man responded, "You see, despite me becoming the director of this school, I prefer to act as a movie producer."

"Your Katsumi??", Taori asked however ignoring her, the man continued his monologue.

"A friend of mine helped to set up this empty barrier so that I could view all the movies I captured in 3D. Im using it right now, to simulate the events that took place in the new Daihatsu orphanage, 6-7 years ago."

As he finished Taori could see a young Nagato, Mitsuki and Fuuko all playing in a luscious emerald green field as the orange light of sunset befell on them.

As the scene played out, Taori extended her arm to the still-healthy Fuuko, which simply phased through her. Katsumi then said, "It's a simulation, so you can't interact with it."

As the scene continued to play Katsumi began to converse with Taori, "This scene is almost like what Botan showed you that day, am I correct?"

However, she remained quiet while watching the scene play out. Katsumi then continued, "Botan is a master of deception you know. I set him up to be the main villain of the movie that I wanted to film, however, I found a much more interesting person as well as a new cast, so I left him to his own devices. When I came to check up on him, I found out about what he was doing to you."

As he finished those words he pressed the next video button on the remote, causing the scene to shift to an empty dark room.

In it was an electrical chair-like device similar to the one used, in death sentence executions, however, it lacked the mechanism used to kill. In it sat a boy that was restrained, by the straps that bound both his arms, legs and head.

As Taori saw who sat inside it, he fell onto her knees from the horror. It was Nagato.

A bald man dressed in loose brown robes emerged from the darkness holding a syringe. He carefully injected the substance into Nagatos forearm causing him to scream from pain. As he struggled to break free from the chair he slammed his arms, and legs, while screaming even louder and louder.

His screams of pain and anguish were eventually followed by the sounds of several bones cracking as his hair slowly fell out. By the end of the process, he was not only completely bald but much taller and muscular. Despite his body's transformation finishing, he still kept screaming from the anguish.

Katsumi then explained, "In an attempt to carry out a different process of the mass assassin production project, they tried to see if they could advance the age, of children to make them older as well as stronger. They were successful but not without some side effects. He experiences nonstop pain, and currently relies on drugs just to get by."

The scene then changed to Mitsuki, wearing a ninja-like outfit similar to Taoris'. As he stood in the centre of the dark room, multiple Jujutsu Sorcerers jumped to attack him. As they did wolverine-like claws emerged from each of the gloves that he wore, and then as fast as lightning, he quickly killed them all.

As he finished Botan emerged from the shadows, holding a dark mask in his right hand. As he walked up to Mitsuki he laid left his hand, on his shoulders while seating the mask on his face.

Katsumi then continued, "Botan trained Mitsuki to be your replacement in the scenario that you ever betrayed him. I guess you could say he knew that we would one day have this conversation."

Katsumi with the remote in hand pressed the same button once again. The scene now erasing Botan and Mitsuki, instead leaving an open coffin in the centre of the room.

Katsumi walked over to it urging Taori to come to look at who was inside, however with fear in her eyes she struggled to walk over there. She now knew that Botan had not kept his promise to keep Mitsuki and Nagatio safe, and so she had deluded herself into thinking that it couldn't get any worse. But deep down she knew very well who was inside.

As Katsumi pressed the fast-forward button, the coffin slid over to Taori placing itself right next to it. As it did, Taori quickly shut her eyes, but then the voice of that platinum-haired woman suddenly echoed into her ears. It demanded from her,

"Look."

As she struggled to keep her eyes closed, they eventually forced themselves open revealing, the body of Fuuko that laid in the coffin with her arms crossed as a bouquet of flowers laid in her arms.

Katsumi then said, "Botan gave Fuuko drugs to help her condition, however they were only temporary. The drugs she took, instead worsened the disease after 5 hours of taking them. That same day you saw her was also the same day that she died."

Taori collapsed to the floor in defeat. The thing that she had dedicated the last 5 years of her life to protecting. The former family that she killed for, wasn't even living the life that Botan had promised her. The family that she believed they were living peacefully with was all an illusion that he had constructed so that Taori would do his bidding. As tears flooded from her eyes, she then shouted,

"EVERYTHING THAT YOU'RE TELLING ME IS A LIE. HOW CAN I BELIEVE THAT EVERYTHING YOU SHOWED ME WASN'T FALSE?"

Katsumi responded, "We can make a binding vow, you can ask me whatever questions you want and I will answer truthfully to my full ability. If I lie even once I will kill myself."

Confused Taori asks while wiping the tears from her face, "What's a binding vow?"

As she said that Katsumi began to burst out laughing, while shouting, "OF COURSE HE DIDN'T TEACH YOU THAT. IF YOU KNEW WHAT ONE WAS THEN HE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MAKE ALL THOSE FALSE PROMISES WITH YOU."

Realizing that this whole situation could have been avoided if it wasn't for her incompetence, she screamed in despair. Thankfully the soundproof walls trapped her cries of misery and anguish within the room, however, the platinum-haired woman grew a painful look on her face, as she grew tired of the screams.

As Taoris's sobbing finally began to die down Katsumi then spoke, "As it is right now, I just happened to get a new idea for the movie that I wanted to make. I want to give you the role as a supporting character, I can't tell you the plot but it will be worth your while."

Taori then asked, "What will be in it for me? I have already lost everything, I might as well just die. Once Botan finds out that I have failed then he will just kill me too."

Katsumi responded, "I can protect you In fact, I can even help you get your revenge. All you have to do is enrol in this school as a Jujutsu Sorcerer the day you turn 16. You're already a strong sorcerer so I believe you will one day reach the top if you fight with the same tenacity as you did earlier."

Thinking about it carefully Taori responded, "Fine... However, don't expect me to use my killing techniques. I refuse to kill for anyone else anymore."

As she said that, Katsumi frowned a little in disappointment. However, he extended his handout to the girl. He then said, "It looks like we have a deal. Lets make it a binding vow to actually make it official."

From this point onwards, Taori would study at Jujustu Tech as a grade 3 sorcerer however her skill with the blade as well as the cursed technique that she began to refine would have her promoted to a grade 1 sorcerer in less than 5 months. Eventually, she would be ordered to infiltrate the Sukuna Doomsday cult where she would meet up with Akumu, and the others.
