Business Bear

Frosty Whipp breaks the ice in the arena by asking the American team,

"Can It even speak?"

Everyone looks towards them in suspense, and that's when Andrew finally says,

"No clue."

Stunned everyone thought that this would mean that they would be disqualified, but as if to put a stop to their doubts Kuma enhances his claw with cursed energy and carves the number 40 on the the floor.

The brown bear is then teleported into what seems like an empty world with nothing below it. A magic set of stairs then connects the platform it stood all the way to the entrance of the castle above. The Robotic voice speaks

"28 grade 3 and 9 grade 2 curses have been selected. Commencing the start of the Dungeon."

The doors at the top of the stairs swung open revealing a dark hallway. The bear then groans before shifting into what seems to be a sphere-like shape as if it were a hamster. It released a sudden burst of cursed energy as it rolled all the way up the stairs and into the castle halls.

As it entered it immediately crushed 5 of the grade 3 curses that guarded the main entrance before steamrolling further into the castle. It crushed a multitude of grade 3 curses instantly before being stopped by a single grade 2 curse.

It grabbed onto the bear with both its hands before throwing it into a nearby wall. As the bear unrolled its self 2 more grade 2 curses appeared to stop it.

The brown bear began to suddenly emit more cursed energy from itself as it grew larger and bulkier. Its two arms exceeded its original mass as 4 of its claws became the size of a coffee table.

It swung one of its great arms instantly killing 1 of the grade 2 curses before biting the head off the other. As it prepared to attack the last grade 2 curse a swarm of other curses lands on its back completely crushing it.

When it seemed like all hope was lost for the American team another sudden burst of cursed energy blasted them all the way. Instead of just its arms its whole body grew larger and even more beast-like than it once was.

[Omo] So it's the same type of innate technique as beastification...

The bear's fur had grown accents of red and white as now continued to shred through the hordes of grade 3 and 2 cursed spirits. It not only ripped them apart but even ate and bit off their heads using any and all weapons available to it.

As it finished its rampage it eventually fell unconscious, However, it still succeded in killing all 40 cursed spirits. Frosty Whipp then spoke over the microphone,

"KUMA THE BEAR SUCCEEDS IN KILLING 40 OF THE CURSED SPIRITS GRANTING A SCORE OF 55"

The exhausted bear is then teleported out of the castle and taken away by specialized vets who will take care of it.

The wrecked castle is then drenched in a mysterious fog before being completely reconstructed and repaired. It was as if no one had fought there in the first place. Now it was Korea Sung Gon-ills' turn to select a number of cursed spirits.

Before the robotic voice could even ask the man he instantly responds as if he had rehearsed the whole scenario,

"give me all 100"

The arena went nuts from the thought.

[Tyrece] Fighting a special grade curse is a task in itself, but fighting 99 other cursed spirits at the same time?? This man has a death wish.

As if in response the robotic voice asks for confirmation of his choice but he just says,

"Don't make me wait."

The man is instantly teleported to the same platform as his competitor before him. But unlike before the second the gates opened the stairs became flooded with cursed spirits that shot straight towards him.

Before they could reach him however he uttered the words.

"Equip, Black wing armor set."

The man's outfit completely changed into what could be called armor fit for a dark knight. It granted him immense durability and protection while also allowing him to move at maximum speeds. In his arms appeared short swords that also complimented the same color as his armor.

"Skill: Blessing of Hermes"

He ran so fast that the audience perceived his speed as instant teleportation. The cursed spirits that he had already passed were instantly shredded and torn apart.

He continued further into the labyrinth at incomprehensible speeds slashing away at the cursed spirits indiscriminate of grade or size until he happened upon an incredibly large spirit that was too large for his weapons to cut in one go. These were the grade 1 giant cursed spirits.

As if he had already rehearsed this battle many times he quickly swaps his weapons with his original short swords disappearing into thin air.

From his hands then emerged a gigantic great sword that resembled Arthur's own weapon.

It instantly cleaved through the giant curse while still traveling at almost the same speed. He quickly cuts through another 3 of the giant curses until he came upon a single gigantic mask, that looked as if it was crying.

As soon as the mask noticed the man's presence the mask released a barrage of skinny white arms that travelled towards Sung.

He quickly swapped back his weapons the the singular short swords while slashing and perfectly blocking against the multitude of arms.

The Curse then hand-signed two of its many arms while muttering words to itself,

"Domain Expansion: Empty Acro park"

The whole Castle seemed to disappear along with Sung Gon-Ills' footing. The man was now falling to his death to what seemed to be an infinite void.

But as if expecting this to happen the sorcerer quickly swaps his shortswords which again disappeared into thin air, and instead replaced with a heavy long bow.

He pointed its tip towards the floating mask before calling out,

"Skill: Healing arrow"

An arrow of pure white light then conjures from where an arrow would usually be placed, which Sung Gon-Ill quickly fires at the curse.

The Acrophobia1 curse hurriedly attempts to block the arrow's strike but its arms are instantly vaporized before being pierced straight through its forehead killing it instantly.

[Sung Gon-Ill] My Healing arrow is made out of reverse cursed technique. It instantly heals any human hit by it but curses spirits on the other hand... Are instantly destroyed.

Then Frosty Whipp shouts on the mic,

"SUNG GON-ILL TAKES OUT EVERY SINGLE CURSED SPIRIT LEAVING HIM WITH THE MAXIMUM SCORE OF 255!"

The Arena shouts in excitement, It seemed like the winner for this round had already been decided. No way could there be another sorcerer of this level inside the Japanese or Chinese teams. It was just too improbable.

Even the Korean team was seemingly confused at what had just happened. They knew their teammate was strong but this was just a whole new level that they had never seen. His innate technique had remained a mystery to them as well.

[Frosty Whipp] After that incredible performance I think it is time to keep this pace going, can Saigo Akumu choose the number of cursed spirits he will fight?

A deadpan look could be seen on his face. Unlike the previous day, his eyes were completely stripped of emotion causing a tense atmosphere in the crowd. This was something that even the ordinary people could sense. He then simply asked

"Give me all 100 as well."
