Aiden Vs Melodrax (1)

IN THE AIRPORT

"*sigh* Are flights always this delayed?" Aiden complained, frustration evident in his voice as he, along with Aria and the two women, sat in the waiting room at the airport, enduring the seemingly endless wait for their flight.

But for some reason, it seemed like the two girls were oddly close to Aiden.

"Young Master." Said one of the women as she hugged Aiden's arm with blushing cheeks.

"Young Master, isn't it hot in here?" Said the same woman as she unbuttoned some buttons of her shirt this way revealing her cleavage in a strategic move to capture Aiden's attention.

"Ahhh, young master do you see that couple over there?" said the woman as she pointed towards a couple in front of them who were hugging each other; they were clearly in love.

The reason as to why that woman was doing all of this was because she thought that if she could seduce Aiden and become his wife, then she would live in luxury for the rest of her life, and with Aiden as her guardian, she would never suffer any problems.

Her original plan was to become his second woman because she thought that Aria was Aiden's girlfriend, but after she saw that their relationship was more of that of a brother and sister, she decided to go all out and seduce Aiden.

"Don't we look exactly lik-" The woman tried to say something as she hugged Aiden tighter, but was suddenly cut off by Aiden's intense outburst.

"FUCK, they should just die," Aiden muttered with evident bloodlust, his eyes taking on a terrifying shade of red as he glared at the loving couple. His expression transformed into that of a cold-blooded murderer.

In the depth of Aiden's sudden aggression, the woman couldn't help but wonder, 'Why are you shirtless again?' as she observed Aiden, who had once more discarded his T-shirt to amplify his intimidating aura.

"STOP DOING THAT!" Aria screamed as she hastily put Aiden's shirt back on him.

After some time, the other woman saw the unfolding scene and jumped at the opportunity. She moved between Aiden and Aria, and she too, hugged Aiden's arm.

"Don't listen to them Young Master, those shameless harpies only wants your money." Said the woman as she, too, unbuttoned a few buttons of her shirt.

"What will you say, Young Master? Do you want me to spoil you? We still have time until the plane comes." Said the woman with an erotic smile as she got closer and closer to Aiden.

Just then, Aiden put his hand in front of the woman, indicating her to stop.

"You know, I had gone through time skip, I no longer-" Aiden began, but his words were drowned out by the murmurs from the crowd.

"So lucky." "I want that too." "Why only handsome guys." "He is cute, tho," remarked the onlookers, admiring Aiden from afar.

"Who!!!" Aiden exclaimed, releasing his terrifying bloodlust with his shirtless, god-like physique. He was ready to kill that "lucky handsome guy," not realizing that they meant him.

THE NEXT DAY

Aiden was sleeping on his bed. The next moment, he heard the alarm on his phone.

He rose from the bed and stopped the alarm on his phone, which was replaced by a new sound echoing from beneath the floor. It was as if the ground itself was resonating with a distant rhythm, drawing Aiden's attention. Fully dressed, he stretched his limbs, the anticipation of the day ahead weaving through the fibres of his being.

"I guess that it's time," Aiden murmured to himself.

Aiden made his way to the source of the sound, descending the stairs with each step, bringing him closer to the pulsating energy beneath.

IN THE UNDERGROUND STADIUM

In the hidden arena beneath the ground, Aiden pushed open the door and entered. The sight that greeted him was strange— Aria, draped in a silver robe and concealing her identity behind an ornate mask, stood before him. Her unique white hair was the only recognizable feature in the poorly lit underground stadium.

At the centre of the large room stood a familiar pedestal, the very one where Aiden had first laid eyes on his mystical sword. This time, the sword was impaled on the pedestal, trapped by heavy chains adorned with ominous black runes. Aiden had requested the pedestal from the brothel, intending to use it for the upcoming ritual.

Aiden moved toward the pedestal, climbing the stairs leading to the elevated platform. Aria, upon noticing his arrival, began a rhythmic chant, her words weaving arcane magic in the air.

"In the melding of minds, a symphony composed,

Harmony, forged, destinies interposed.

With each uttered phrase, supernatural runes began materializing on the grass surrounding the pedestal. Aiden reached out and took hold of the sword. Channelling mana into the blade, he witnessed the runes illuminate in a vibrant shade of red.

The air thickened with an unseen force, causing a swirling electricity around the pedestal.

The final words of Aria's chant echoed through the underground chamber:

Cynical entities, ethereal accord,

In heaven, Melodrax adored."

As the last syllable left her lips, a profound silence enveloped the stadium. The air itself seemed to freeze, and an otherworldly stillness descended upon the space.

*Bamf!*

In an instant, the surroundings transformed. Aiden found himself standing in the heart of his domain, within the confines of the shrine. The once-present pedestal and the intricate chains had vanished, leaving behind only the sword.

Just then, two ghosts appeared in front of Aiden. They were his two egos, the dragon cat and the homeless man. They came closer to Aiden and told him.

"Good luck, child," they intoned in unison before dissipating into the void, leaving Aiden standing alone in his mystical domain.

Then Aiden remembered the words Aria had told him.

FLASHBACK

"In your fight, you have to fight him in a fair one vs one," said Aria when they were still at the beginning of their training.

"Hey, Aria... how strong is this guy?" asked Aiden.

"Melodrax is not someone you should underestimate. He is a master sorcerer; in fact, he was one of the strongest there was," said Aria, admiring Melodrax.

"The scariest thing about him is his mastery over mana. When he was still a demon, his intellect and control over his element were so strong that it earned him the title of one of the 12 Generals Of Black Heaven, the strongest demons of the underworld," explained Aria with a somber expression.

"But in your fight, you should make sure not to do one thing," said Aria, expressing concern for Aiden.

Aiden widened his eyes, fascinated. "Don't ever let yourself be caught in his ]Primal State[."

END OF FLASHBACK

Behind Aiden in the shallow water was a terrifying corpse hovering over the air.

Even with a black robe that covered his lower body, his withered bones were visible, along with his rotten organs within the ribcage and a fully functioning brain residing in his skull.

Just then the corpse put his hands inside his organs as he took out a piece of silver from his heart.
