It was a sunny day in the Jura Forest.

Rimuru and Karna were enjoying the newly found peace and tranquility as they hopped along the newly constructed paved roads radiating from the center of the city.

It felt like forever since Rimuru had any true rest, though it was for a brief time as Karna sensed a powerful aura coming from the east.

Karna had already told Rimuru about Milim, so Rimuru ordered everyone to stand still.

Karna, with his body poised, moved towards the place where Milim was heading.

Boom! A small explosion.

From there emerged a girl when the dust settled down.

A girl around the age of fourteen, making many people confuse her for a child at first.

She had glossy platinum pink hair tied in twin tails and blue eyes.

She usually wore a rather bold swimsuit-like outfit consisting of thigh-high socks, black panties, and a long-sleeve shirt that only covered her chest, with the occasional addition of a large cloak.

"Hajimemashite (hello)," she greeted.

"I am the one and only Dragonoid, Demon Lord Milim Nava! Noda...

I thought I would drop by and say hi!" she finished as she dramatically posed with her hands on her hips.

"Hm, you look similar," she said, her tone curious.

""Ah, yes, welcome to Tempest. May I help you, pretty young lady? Why have you graced us with your lovely presence? Do you want something?" Karna asked.

"Hm?" she answered back, seemingly genuinely confused.

"No, I just said I was just saying 'hi,'" she finished with a smile.

A lingering silence set in as Rimuru and karna considered her response.

"That's it? So you are not here to take revenge for Geld, the demon king? We can provide some compensation. Karna replied.

""Huh. Why would I do such a boring thing? Wait, compensation? What can you provide?" Milim was eager to know what he would offer.

Karna was already prepared for this. So he provided her with a bunch of honey.

After eating,

Milim exclaimed, "What is this?! It's so sweet, I've never tasted anything so sweet... it tastes like nectar.

How did you make this? I have to know! I have to get my hands on MORE!"

"Well, I can provide you with more of such tasty food. I can offer more than a thousand dishes which you will absolutely love, but you need to promise me something." Karna said.

"Of course, of course, I promise,"

<she agreed eagerly without even hearing his condition.>

"One, you must be my very best partner. The one and only, you know, we will be together in good times and bad times. Hanging out, having fun, eating sweets, playing games...

Puppet Man, Bird Girl, and Animal Master will not come in our way," Karna said with a sweet smile.

At this, the Demon Lord had an unusual reaction: at first, she was slightly taken aback—Karna could have sworn that he saw her blushing a bit, but he dismissed it—before she began pacing around him, even lifting a strand of her hair.

Then she stopped in front of him with a thoughtful expression.

"Say..." she began, stroking her chin. "Are you actually saying that we will stay together? It's hard to tell..."

"Eh! Well, it's hard to answer. But yes," Karna replied.

"We will be closer than best friends, and we will share everything with each other.

"A bright smile bloomed on her face, and she instantly said, "We are even closer than best friends," and pulled Karna into a hug.

"Mission mostly accomplished. We will complete it in a few days. Haha, come Milim, and I'll show you around," Karna said, giving her a whole jar of honey.

Later, every subordinate came and introduced themselves to Milim. Souei and benimaru was sweating heavily.

"Say, Rimuru, Karna, do you want to become a demon lord? We could be demon lord buddies and make all the people scared of us," Milim suggested while eating snacks.

"Hmmm, I think Rimuru will have to be in the future in order to protect what we have built and those who we care about.

But making humans look up to us? That sounds like a bit of a boring goal to have, don't you think? I mean, I have been having a lot more fun around here. It is a lot of hard work, but I can guarantee that the process is a lot of fun," Karna replied.

"Eh? You are having more fun than by becoming a demon lord? That's not fair, I want to join in."

"Yes, we will do our fun activities later," Karna said.

After that, Karna told Rimuru and everyone that other demon lords would try to make trouble with them.

So they made their way to the meeting house to discuss with everyone.

"She called herself a 'dragonoid'; what does that even mean?" Rimuru asked.

Karna explained via soul corridor, "A dragonoid is a unique race belonging to someone born of a true dragon and a lesser race."

"The offspring of a dragon and a lesser race? Wonder how that works? Can dragons turn themselves into humans?" His thought was interrupted by Milim calling him from behind.

"Hey, any of you guys have something to drink? This thing is great, but it's making me kinda thirsty," she said, mentioning the jar of honey.

After a few more seconds of just staring at her, Rimuru decided it would not be worth the hassle to try and convince her to leave. So he just sighed and left.

Karna gave a strawberry milkshake to Milim and accompanied her on their "date," just showing her around.

"This drink is quite dangerous. Who made this?" Milim asked."Of course, I did for my cute Milim," Karna replied.

For a brief second, Milim's face turned a little red.

Thus began Milim Nava's first day in Tempest. To put it plainly, for Karna, it was a roller coaster of entertaining and nerve-wracking experiences.

Right off the bat, Milim got into a scuffle—or rather a one-sided curb stomp—when she ran into that dolt Gabiru, who called her a little brat to her face.

Lucky for him, she held back enough that he didn't die instantly from one punch. Scolding her seemed pointless, especially as Gabiru kinda deserved it for being rude in the first place.

But still, Karna asked her not to do something like that again, though she made no promises. Well, he tried.

The next thing was to have everyone gather in the central square so he could formally introduce Milim to the city; mostly so everyone knew who she was to avoid a repeat of the Gabiru incident.

During the introduction, she grabbed the microphone out of his hands and began introducing herself and her relationship with Karna. She decided that she would live with them from now on.

Everyone cheered up. It seemed Milim was quite popular among the monsters.

Milim and Karna discussed various things.

Ever since they began moving, she tried really hard to figure out why this person—this majin —piqued her interest in the way he did ever since their first talk.

While Milim and Karna were roaming and trying everything in the city, among the different things to do in Tempest, by far her favorite thing was the food, especially the food cooked by Karna.

"What the... how does some vegetable soup taste so good?!" she asked as she was eating in one of the dining halls.

"Of course, I cooked it for you to show my care," Karna replied.She gained little resistance from his flirting.

But by looking at her shiny eyes and lips, it seemed she liked his efforts.

Shuna was quite pleased to meet Milim and quickly turned her into her personal fashion doll, to which the Demon Lord did not object.

In fact, the various new outfits she gained out of it made it so that Karna barely convinced her to leave.

"Girls love new outfits, I guess, no matter what world it is or how godlike powerful they are," he thought to himself as they left, glancing at Milim, who was now wearing a sort of sailor uniform that was quite an improvement to her first outfit.

Karna picked three dresses for her which he thought were best for her.

Next were the crop fields, where things escalated quickly; seeing the hobgoblins hard at work, Milim got the idea to lend a hand.

Rimuru was skeptical at first, but it turned out he had no reason to worry; quite the opposite.

Milim was a quick learner, to put it simply; after having one demonstration of what to do, she proceeded to till the fields like an expert who had done it her entire life.

And by the wind speed from her movement, he reasoned she suppressed both with her aura or something.

In any case, she did the job of hundreds of workers in less than an hour, much to the shock—and cheers—of the guys working.

Everyone except Ririna, who was livid that her carefully laid schedule for the crops was completely ruined.

Rimuru quickly took Milim out of there before the goblina could say anything.

By the time night fell, Karna was mentally done; even if he had some fun along the way, he mostly had the pain of keeping Milim in check from this and that and just couldn't be bothered to do anything else as he led her to the main hall.

There, they had a nice dinner—sweet, delicious curry—and began talking about various small things.

"You are just amazing," Milim bellowed in between messy mouthfuls.

After dinner, she joined Shuna and Shion for a bath. They went to the royal bath, which had no separation between males and females.

After the bath, Rimuru Tempest ended up in his current predicament, being used as a ball by Milim and Karna.

Shuna and Shion just watched from the sidelines, jealous but refraining from joining.

"Hey, stop it. This is not funny. Hey, hey!"

After the bath, they went to see the starry night.

He could barely tell it was the same person from a few seconds ago. With her hair down like this, she looked even more beautiful than she already was.

If it wasn't for her excitable personality, he could almost feel safe having her around.

At some point, most people went to their rooms, leaving them by themselves, and the night sky became completely dark and covered in stars.

"Hey, Karna..." Milim's voice sounded softer than usual as she spoke, looking up into the night sky.

"Even the stars look kinda nicer from here," she absentmindedly said.

Karna, with a gentle smile, said, "Each star is a beacon of hope and inspiration, a reminder of the infinite possibilities that exist within creation.

Milim suddenly pondered on the words he said.As he was looking at Milim closely, Milim closed her eyes, accepting something.

Karna sealed her lips with his. He kept her close while Milim's hands moved as she hugged him tightly, unwilling to stay apart.

Milim felt like she found her place as she pressed her lips to Karna's, and as they stayed within their kiss, fireflies surrounded them.

His tongue then entered to explore Milim's mouth while his hand was kneading her butt in various shapes.

Her body was weak; her body was in a position so comfortable that she wanted to stay in this position forever.

Soon after the kiss, Milim sat on Karna's lap with her back touching Karna's chest.

"Hey Milim, I think I love you," he said while kissing her sweet neck.

"Hmmm!" she moaned. "I think I do too," she said in a low voice.

"Do you want to establish a soul bond?" he asked Milim.

"What is this soul bond?" Milim asked curiously.While talking, his hands were continuously roaming around her body.

He told Milim what a soul bond is, and she instantly agreed when he explained that with a soul bond, they would connect their souls through a karmic bond with the power of origin.

They then went to his room while Milim slept on top of him.

They decided to sleep in the same room whenever Milim was present in Tempest.
