"WAIT!" I saw Rimuru jolting, stopping in his tracks.

"Stay here for a bit. It's dangerous to go out."

Right now, we stood in front of a giant door. We had ventured out of the cave, killing many monsters and obtaining numerous skills.Karna barely killed any monsters because he wanted his new brother, Rimuru, to gain experience and skills.When we were about to go out the door, it suddenly opened.

"Hey Rimuru, use concealing arts to hide yourself.

"He did it, and now we were invisible to the adventurers' party as they ventured inside Veldora's cave.

We sneaked past them and went outside.

A fair amount of time had passed since we left the cave. The sun was starting to set, which indicated that we must have reached the cave exit right around midday.

Rimuru kept messing around with the new skills he obtained from the monsters he consumed in the cave while I was adjusting my origin and logic powers.

Soon, we spotted goblins, and they surrounded us. Their swords were rusty, and their armor was thin and torn at the ends. Some of them only wore tattered clothes.

"Grah! Strong ones... do you have business here?" their leader spoke with difficulty.

"Nope. Do you need something?" I asked.

"Y-Yes, seeing your auras, w-we have a favor to ask of you."And just like that, Rimuru and I were being led to their village.

"Hey, Karna...""...

What do you want to ask me about?" I replied.

"What is the aura that the goblin mentioned?"

"Change your magic sense to yourself," I advised. He then changed his perception and started sweating."If you want to conceal your aura, just suck it into your stomach.

I instantly concealed my aura while Rimuru took a few tries. After that, the goblins that were escorting us relaxed a bit.

We eventually reached our destination and waited in the biggest hut.

Their elder explained the whole situation to Rimuru and me.

How their village was attacked by direwolves because of Veldora's disappearance.

"What will you give us in return for your protection?" I asked.

The goblins looked startled."W-We will swear our loyalty, masters."

"Yosh, let's go to the wounded."As we were leaving the hut, I told Rimuru to handle the injured.

Rimuru then went to the wounded and healed them using healing potions he produced from Hipokte herbs..
