Hum, hmm, hum

Walking through the castle I hum to myself to relax a little, it has always worked and this time also it didn't let me down.

As for my current destination, well it is toward the knight commander's workroom, or more specifically Vayu's workroom.

Looking at the maids and butlers working tirelessly I give them a soft nod as I continue on my way.

Still, this castle is as grand as ever, even when compared to the castle in the capital, after all this castle's main function is that of a battery.

In fact, this entire city is but a large magic array, weaved by using the buildings as the markers for the array.

This array, which is a copy of the one placed on the World Academy's main island, has the main function of collecting and storing mana from the environment.

And with that stored mana, all the magic-powered government-provided services work, like the automatic trash disposable system, the defense system, the environment stabilization function, and others.

The main capital also has this type of array but it doesn't cover the entire city, only the inner parts, mostly due to the sheer size of the capital.

Leaving the castle, I make my way toward one of the buildings made for the personnel of the castle.

"Can we be of any help, Your Majesty The Queen?"

A knight asks as he kneels in front of me while bowing his head, standard behavior.

"Hmm, disperse the knights around Knight Commander Vayu's work building."

I gave him an order as my voice became more majestic than normal, a habit I picked up some centuries ago.

"As you command your Majesty."

With that, the knight gives one last bow and leaves to fulfill the duty assigned to him.

"I wonder how long he has been serving here?"

I wonder to myself as I make my way to the building after all a new knight wouldn't have given such a quick answer.

After all, even if I am the queen of this kingdom, this is the Lionheart territory, and my authority doesn't have that much impact here.

But that's for normal queens, as I am also great friends with the Lionheart family my authority here doesn't diminish even a little.

"Please Enter, Your Majesty The Queen."

The voice of Vayu was heard outside the building before I even had a chance to knock.

Smiling at that, I walk forward as the door opens in front of me, and inside a figure clad in silver armor is waiting while kneeling on one of his knees.

"You know you don't need to do this."

I say to him in a casual tone without the majestic aura that I had when I talked with that knight.

"I know that, but still as a Knight when the Queen visits the standard procedure must be done."

He replies as he stands up, his body becoming more relaxed than before. Well, he must have understood that I am visiting him as Ruri and not the Queen.

After all Queen's visits most of the time spill trouble, so he must be relieved that I came as a friend. Oh, how naive..

Thinking that to myself while giving a mental evil smile I look at him.

He walks toward the sofa near a window and starts to prepare tea, I guess he hasn't forgotten my taste at least.

"So, why did you decide to grace me with your presence Ruri?"

He asks as he sits on the sofa and sips the tea, his habit of being so relaxed during break also hasn't changed.

"Well, some topic of little importance."

I give him a reply as I sit opposite to him and sip the tea provided by him.

"Hmm, perfect."

I commend him as I sip the tea, a nice blend of richness and flavor with an aromatic scent that relaxes one's body.

"Thank you,"

He takes the compliment as he smiles and sips from his cup.

"So anyway, what I wanted to talk about is that.." 

I say in a casual tone as he looks at me, then at the last moment, my tone turns serious as I say.

"You should stop pursuing my sister."

A moment of silence falls, as Vayu's face doesn't change for a second, then his eyes close as his face starts to morph into that of surprise.

"WHATTT?? Can you please repeat your words again?"

He asks as if making sure he heard my words correctly, taking another sip of the tea I look at his face and say in a cold tone.

"You should stop pursuing my sister."

At my words he stares at me silently, his brain trying to process the information he just got, the look on his face priceless.

So I copied the space and took his image, this was also one of Neo's plans, a blackmail material he said.

"Wh-Why?"

He asks a simple question with despair enveloping his face, wow he broke down so quickly.

"Why you ask?"

I give him a cold remark as I continue.

"Because you have been keeping her hanging for more than five centuries now, Don't you think that's enough reason?"

With that I glare at him with "anger", the anger of an older sister who saw her little sister being played with by someone.

He turns his head down, as he has no answer to my question, he can try to debate with me but since we have known each other for more than six centuries now he should know that debating with me will be futile.

I ask him in a voice even colder than before.. Hmm bullying someone like this once in a while is quite fun.. 

He doesn't say anything and just keeps staring at the floor in silence, hey say something.. daum when did he get so mentally weak?

"This is your last chance, if you don't speak I promise you that I won't allow you to ever be with my sister."

I give him an ultimatum, I can see him gripping his hands.. probably making up his mind.

Taking a deep breath he turns his head up and looks at me with a serious face, a face that has made a decision.

"Firstly, I would like to say sorry for such behavior."

I rebuke him as I continue to make the cold face, playing the devil as they will call it.

"I know,..."

He acknowledges my words, good development for now.. after all, I also have to take the role of an Angel currently.

I ask him in a softer voice than before.

"Yes"

He replies.

"Good, so what will you do to make an amend for that?"

I ask him, although it was a short conversation it is almost near its end. After all from my script, I only have a few more words to speak.

I cut him before he can finish, sipping the last bit of tea I stand up and I look at him.

"I will give you a last chance, confess to her. If not for the fact that she also loves you I wouldn't even have given this chance."

I speak as I prepare to leave and he remains there in silence before answering.

"Understood."

He replies in a voice filled with vigor.

"Good, you can also ask the help of Neo, after all, he has been trying to close this long romance cat and mouse of yours."

Saying those words I leave the room as the door behind me closes.
