"What was that for."

I complain as I arrive next to my mother for protection, damm her woman sense was even stronger than I thought.

"Well, I was just testing you, after all from now on I am one of your teachers."

Agni replied as she looked at me with a smile on her face, but that smile was in no way a kind one.

Plus the words she spoke anyone who knows us will know that it's bullshit, after all, she already knows my current strength level.

"Now, now Agni don't bully Neo."

Mother spoke as she patted my head gently and smiled at Agni. Giving her a victorious smile I turn my attention back to my mother.

"So Agni will start teaching me from now on?"

I ask as I tilt my head at her.

"Yes, after all, she is one of the best fire mage I know."

My mother replies to my question as looks back at Agni.

"So Agni, as we planned you will take the first two hours and I the other two."

Mother says as she stands up from her seat and walks toward a corner of the room, suddenly a door opens in front of her and she steps one of her foot in it.

"Enjoy."

She says with a joyful and cheeks smile as she leaves her son to his demise. As mother disappears from the room I can feel the predatory gaze of Agni staring at me.

<Flame Hell>

A high-ranking spell I can tell by looking at the patterns making it up, my senses start to warn me in overdrive as I can feel death approaching.

With that single spell of Agni, the entire room is bathed with bright yellow flames as Neo also disappears in them without even being able to scream.

As the flames clear the burnt figure of Neo is seen as he falls to the ground and takes deep breaths, his skin is severely burnt and he would have even died if not for Agni holding her spell back.

"You are in better condition than I thought."

Agni comments and compliments him as she starts to walk toward him.

"Nexus must be teaching you quite a lot."

She continues as she points her hand at Neo as a spell circle forms in her hand.

<Butterfly of Rebirth>

As she casts her spell butterflies made of flames start to appear around her as they continue to multiply and in a matter of seconds thousands of butterflies have covered the room.

One of the butterflies travels toward Neo and as it makes contact with his body the wounds on Neo's body start to heal.

As Neo feels his body being completely healed he jumps back and dodges the attack thrown by Agni.

<Flame Pillar>

A pillar of flames rises in the place where he was standing as Agni slowly walks toward him with an expression colder than ever.

"I guess your training method is the same as my father's."

Neo asks as he looks at the witch in front of him, well a witch in maid's clothes.

"No, I am more ruthless than him."

She answers him as she appears right in front of him, seeing this Neo tries to back away but Agni grabs one of his hands and puts her finger in his head.

A spell of the rank of Archmage, the spell that allows one to transfer one's memories to another person.

Neo's body freezes as all the memories and information about flame magic that Agni has cultivated in her life start to flow into his brain.

His brain starts to work on overdrive as it tries to process centuries worth of information, some of his body functions start to get shut down as the brain can't keep us with it.

Seeing the problem in his body she signals the butterflies to do their things as hundreds of them surround Neo's body trying to keep him alive.

A magic of unparalleled proportion is cast as the entire room is covered by a giant magic circle, the magic radiated by it converse around Neo as they start to heal his body at such a rate that no damage could be even seen.

"As overprotective as ever."

Agni mumbles as she looks at Alice sitting in a mini dimension she had created, after that she turns her attention to the magic circle marveling at it.

A sage rank spell, the strongest currently known healing spell, something that can make the person the spell is being cast on functionally immortal as long as the spell lasts.

Well, that is the reason Alice is called the second strongest and most knowledgeable mage in the entire world with only the current head of Magic tower being ahead of her in terms of pure strength being a Demi-God rank Sage.

After a minute of show of processing, all the information Neo's eyes open back up as he looks at Agni with sweat dripping down his head due to the fatigue and stress he just experienced.

"Now that you have gotten all that information, we can start our true training."

Agni speaks as she starts to back down from the position where Neo is standing.

"My training focuses mostly on practicals so, try to implement all the spells you have learned information about and make them your own."

"And I will help you in doing that, after all the best way to learn the magic of a specific element is to fight against the mage of the same elements."

She continues as she makes adequate distance from Neo.

"Hooo, haaa... Understood."

Taking a deep breath to calm his nerves and then releasing it he nods his head as he utters such words. Though he gave her a nod something else was going on in his head.

'I fucked up.'

But since there was no use crying over spilled milk he can only go on with it, also this is necessary for his plan and also for his growth. Though he will take back all of this pain as Debt from their future children, after all, he will be the reason they exist as he made their parents get together.

"It's good that you understand, I thought you would complain."

Agni said hearing his reply, after all, she had expected him to complain or straight up leave the room. After all, he is just a four-year-old child and there is no reason for him to push himself so hard currently.

"Well since I asked for your teaching I can't really back down."

Neo replied to her question as she nodded her head in satisfaction, yes that's what a student shoul....

He continued and as if a dam was broken a hue of bright red started to cover her face as he looked at Neo.

She shouted while shuttering as flames erupted everywhere as they tried to devour Neo, seeing this with an expression of panic he started to dodge for his life.

As for Agni, she was currently thinking about Neo's words and imagining holding her child with Vayu next to her.

Neo shouts as he runs for his life, well this is the result of courting death so he must accept it.
