Ch.14 The Little Princess(4)
In the halls of the grand palace, you can see a little girl walking around it, she has a big smile on her face as she moves around the place.
Singing to herself she makes her way toward one of the various gardens in the castle, in the middle of this particular garden is a small building of white with a table in it's middle surrounded by five chairs.
On one of those chairs sits the figure of a woman with flowing black hair and beautiful ruby-like red eyes, she is wearing an elegant dress colored black and silver that seems to elevate her already high beauty.
She holds a cup of tea in one of her hands as she takes a little sip, enjoying the taste of the tea as she looks at the garden. Seeing the figure of the little girl approaching her she smiles and motions the girl toward her.
The girl with a big smile rushes toward her and gently hugs the woman, the woman hugs her back as she gently puts the little girl on her lap. The maid behind the women swiftly takes the glass from the table and after giving them a small bow leaves.
"How are you doing my daughter, Ruby?"
She asks in a soft voice as she gives a motherly smile to Ruby.
"I am doing great, secon.."
Before she could continue her sentence the woman gives her a smile, a threatening one.
"I mean mother."
The girl quickly changes her words as she looks her face changing back into the look form before.
"Good girl."
She says as she gently caresses her hair.
This black-haired woman is none other than the second wife of King Atlas von Solious, with her name being Sila von Solious. Making her the second mother of Ruby the daughter and only child of Atlas.
"So, what brings you here my daughter."
She asks as she looks at her daughter.
"Oh, yes Mother I wanted to inform you that I am going to meet Neo."
She quickly informs of her business to her mother, after all, she knows she is currently intruding on her free time.
"Neo, oh you mean the son of Duke Nexus. I did hear he had fallen ill again."
She replies as she remembers the information about Neo and the duke.
"Yes,"
Ruby replies nodding her head.
"Hmm, I see, good luck on your travels."
She says as she pats her head with a smile.
"Umu"
With that Ruby nods her head as she makes herself more comfortable on her mother's lap.
"Now, my daughter although I would love to spend more time with you I still have some work left to do."
She says as she gently puts Ruby down from her lap, tugging her clothes up a little she looks at her daughter.
"I see, sorry for wasting your time."
Ruby replies as she turns her head down a little.
"Sigh, My daughter understands that time spent with you is never a waste."
She squats down as she reaches Ruby's eye level and looks at her face.
"Understood Mother."
Ruby cheers up instantly as she gives her a big smile.
"Hehe."
Laughing a little at her daughter's behavior she gently pats her head as she stands up again.
Walking out of the garden together they both part ways as Ruby makes her way toward her second mother.

Walking through the palace hall I reach the working quarters of my second mother, knocking on the door I let my presence be known. third mother doesn't really like guards so the gate isn't protected by a guard.
"Mother it's me."
I voice out as I wait for her reply, after a brief moment of silence the voice of a woman comes.
"Enter, my daughter."
Getting her signal I open the door and enter the room, in front of me, I can see the figure of a green-haired mature woman doing a lot of paperwork. I seem to have interrupted her at a busy time.
"Sorry, Second mother for distu..."
Before I could continue with my sentence I felt somebody gently hugging me from the side, looking at the figure of a brown-haired woman I let my guard down as I melted in her hug.
Seeing this she smiles as she lifts me up, sitting on the sofa on one side of the room she puts me on her lap.
"After, all we were not discussing anything important currently and the time spent with you is never a waste my daughter."
She says as she gives me a gentle smile, her blue eyes glow with kindness as gently pats my head. She is my fourth mother, Anjana Von Solious.
"She is correct you know, My daughter."
My third mother, Rachal von Solious says as she walks toward her, her green eyes look at me as she gives me a smile.
"Understood."
I reply, even though I know they will speak such words I still feel guilty by wasting their time, when they already are such busy people.
...
"So what brings you here," Sila asks as she looks at her daughter.
"It must be about her visit to the Lionheart Duchy, am I correct my daughter?"
Racal asks as she sits next to her daughter.
"Yes, but how did you know mother?"
Ruby asks as she cutely tilts her head at Rachal.
"Hehe, my daughter, I manage most information of this kingdom because you think I will not be able to find such information."
Rachael says as she laughs a little.
Hearing her reply Ruby nods, after all, how could she have forgotten? Just like how her mother Ruri manages the law and legal system of the kingdom, Sila her second mother manages the financial sector, and her third mother Rachal manages the information sector.
As for her fourth mother, Anjana she manages the public welfare and the the local soldiers.
"Safe journey on your trip, Daughter."
Sila says as she looks at her daughter.
"Yes, safe journey."
Rachal also repeats.
After that, they have some more small talk after which Ruby leaves the room saying goodbye to both of them.
