Ch.12 The Little Princess(2)

Opening the book, I look at the journey written by the scholar, it seems quite interesting.

For those who are reading this, I can safely say that this book can be considered one of my masterpieces, my magnum opus. And to add cherry to the pie, I finished this book on the thirtieth of 'The month of Light' and just before 'The month of Gods' what fortune. In this book, I have put everything I worked for in my entire life.

Here I have recorded all the species that I was able to find and even written the rank they are born in. And to my luck, I was even able to find some information about the elusive species like dragons and spirits. Working my hardest at the holy empire in the central continent I was able to acquire some information about the angles and that got more extensive due to me finishing my work just at the beginning of " The Month of Gods".

I do have all the information about demons but the ones about the devils may be quite lacking, as they are currently sealed in hell. Due to me once being a professor at "The World Academy" some millennia back I do have sufficient information about devils.

Well with this I have made my peace and to any future scholars out there reading this book, I hope you have great success.

After reading the journal section I turn the page and see information about the various continents and the like. Quite boring, next page, again more boring information, then next, then next. After doing that for a while I finally came upon an interesting-looking page.

<<All The Races in the World>>

· Humans- The only ones born in this world who aren't able to use mana from birth and have to learn it from the beginning. We have the High-Humans, more mana-sensitive humans who are able to manipulate mana since birth. Then at the peak of this race, we have the Saint Humans, a very great rarity, and each and every one of them can be said to be a genius.

· Beastmen- There was a myth in the past that a group of beasts wanted to leave their beastly nature and walk on two feet just like other strong species. So they prayed to their god and he listened giving them a more human-like figure, though their looks are..well just like beasts who walk on two legs. Then at the peak of this race are the Beast Lord, a ruling class or those born to be rulers among them.

· Elves- The ever-nature-loving species that live on the continent of life, their exact origin is not known but it is widely known that it is very hard for them to feel emotions. The higher forms of the elves are the High Elves and Origin Elves. The information about both has been greatly hidden by the eves.

· Dwarfes- They can be considered to be similar to elves but also different, after all, they mostly live in the mountains on the Continent of the Mountain ruled by an earthen dragon. They dedicate all of their lives to crafting and show no mortal desires, it is not known how their number increases as all the dwarves are males. Their higher forms are the High Dwarfes and Origin Dwarfes, just like the elves their information isn't quite known due to other reasons. 

· Demons- A race considered an enemy of all beings as even though they have intelligence they wish for the world to end by breaking the devils free from hell. The top of their hierarchy are the Demon Lords.. but that may not be the case as I couldn't really find any exact data.

· Vampires: The residents of the blood continent, are mostly found there and don't really live in that place. As their country, Nightangel is one of the biggest superpowers in this world a lot of things are known about them. So much so that you can find more descriptions in the section dedicated to them. Going about it briefly the higher form of the Vampires are the True Vampire and the Ancient Vampires that rule them. They are mostly considered equal to dragons but the truth of it is debatable.

· Dragons: The elusive beings that are hard to find in this realm as they live in their own world. This is all that I could collect from the few I was able to find, the higher dragons are called the Pure dragons and The ancient dragons.

· Spirit: The only thing I have been able to find out about them is that their higher form is called Divine Spirits.

· Angels: One of the gods' creations that mostly roam the heaven helping the various gods that live there. They are mostly managed by the once-called Spherifim and they can be considered as God's most trusted servants.

· Devils: ..(Note: I was going to explain lots about them but please do forgive me as I have been banned from saying anything.)

· Giants: A race so rare that even though their existence is known they have never been seen. Even I tried finding one for a few millennia but didn't have any luck.

Hmm, it didn't even go that in-depth about the various races, I wonder why? oh yes, it did state that each species has a dedicated section in the book. With that thought in mind, I turned the page again.

Mana rank and the birth of different species at different ranks. An interesting topic, I did remember Neo talking about it to me, what was it again.. Hmm, well I can remember by reading this book.

· Mana Core- Saint Humans{at initial rank}, Demons, Dragons {Both at peak rank}

· Mana foundation- High elves, High Dwarfes, True Vampires, Spirits {All of them at initial rank}

· Mana Star- Beast lord, Pure Dragons, Angles {All of them at peak rank}

· Mana God-(This a mythical rank that was said to once existed in ancient times but currently there is no known person on this rank.)

Hmm, I guess this so-called scholar wasn't so good, after all, who publishes a book with so many incomplete parts? Neo did one say he hated such kinds of books I can understand why.

As I was about to turn another page, I heard my mother's voice calling me.

"Daughter, are you still reading this book?"

Mother asks as she walks toward me, her orange hair falls behind her back as she looks at me gently with her silver eyes. Wearing a beautiful blue dress she sits next to me.

"Yes, mother"

I reply to her question as I lean my body on her, seeing this she smiles and gently pats my head.

"Did you find it interesting?" 

She asks as she gives a quick glance at the book in my hand.

"It is interesting but a lot of information is missing. I wonder which kind of scholar will publish such a book." I reply truthfully as I complain about the scholar.

"Hehe, you think so, well this book was written by Scabid a half-elf if I remember correctly. There were a lot of complaints when he first published this book a century back. So not being able to face anymore hate he just disappeared."

Mother replied to my question as she continued to stroke my head.

"Oh, so did the people find him."

"Not really, he has disappeared from this world for a century."

"I see."

Saying that I put the book down and sat on my mother's lap.

"So daughter why did you come to look for me?" Mother asks me as she looks at my face from above.

"Oh, It was about informing you that I am also going to the Lionheart Duchy with you."

"I see, so do you need my help packing your stuff."

"Yes"

I give an affirmative reply as I nod my head.

"Hmm~"

Mother mutters to herself as she gets lost in her thoughts.

"So my daughter, do you want to bring any gifts for Neo."

Mother asks me as she gives me a cheeky smile, a smile I am familiar with as I have seen Neo doing it a lot whenever teasing me.

"Why would I give that idiot a gift."

I reply as I pout to show my dissatisfaction, after all, why should I...

"Oh, it that so the Neo may be sad." My mother reacts to my question as she makes a troubled face.

I guess I should give him a gift, he better give me a gift too when he comes to visit me.

"Then, I would like to give him a gift." 

I reply as I look at my mother.

"Good, so let's go shopping now. After all, I have finished all the work for the coming two weeks."

My mother replies in an energetic tone as she gently puts me down on the ground and stands up.

"Okkkk~"

I reply as I jump with excitement.
