Journey: The Destructive Incarnate

In the Stellar sea of stars, a giant tree stood, rivers made of countless white streaks flowed throughout its giant body travelling toward its root. Those rivers were made of souls going through the process of rebirth, but among those countless rivers, a certain stream travelled directly toward the stem of the tree. In that specific river, a soul flowed like every other; nothing special about it would have remained as such. Suddenly the space it inhabited collapsed as a brilliant golden glow travelled out of that distorted space. The soul unable to escape got showered by that golden glow, its spiritual body absorbing it. Unable to handle the magnitude of the power contained in the golden light, the soul started to tear up. But somehow it managed to absorb it all, but it came at a cost, as the single soul split into two, one being thrown out of that river. Passing through another river, it made its way toward the root, whereas the other part continued on its way. A soul who got the body to handle the power of the golden glow after rebirth but didn't have it, and a body that had the power but couldn't handle it was created. Ch.11 The Little Princess

"So with the help of every nation working together the sage who turned evil was stopped and everybody lived happily ever after."

A mature womens voice was heard as she concluded a story she had read for the person in front of her.

"Yay,"

A little girls voice was heard as she clapped her tiny hands.

"It's goo that you enjoyed the story my daughter." The mature women spoke as she gently ruffled the little girls hair.

The girl melted with her motheres head pat as she giggled to herself.

"Well, now it's been late already so time for bed." The women spoke as she looked at her daughter.

"Ok"

The little girl obidently replie as she nodded her little head filled with redish orange hair. Her silver eyes glowed with hapiness due to being in the presence of her mother.

"Mother, can I sleep with you tonight."

The little girl spoke in a low voice as she held her pink princess dress tightly, even though she is young she knows how busy of a person her mother is.

"Of course my Dear"

Her mother says and hearing her mothers words her face bloom's like a beautiful flowed as she tighly hugs her mother.

"Mother is the best." She shouts in a loud voice.

"Hehe, you know your father will be sad if he heard that." The women says in a teasing voice as she looks at her daughter.

Hearing her words as if struck by lightning she stays silent frozen place, se shutters unable to give a answer to her mother questions. After all she dearly loves her father also, but she also loves her mother.

So now faced with such a question her feeble mind collapses unable to come up with a answer.

"Hehe"

Seeing her daughter stated the mother laughs a little bit as she gently picks her up and leaves the libarary where they were.

"You don't have to answer that question my daughter."

She says as she continues to walk in the direction of her room.

"Ok" The little girl replies.

"By the way mother why did the kind sage turn evil."

The little girl asks remembering the story her mother told and the part that confused her.

"Oh, perhaps due to Love?"

Her mother replies as she openes the door of her room and enters.

"Love"

The little girl mutters as she is gently put down on her bed.

"Time to sleep my dear."

The mother says as she changes her and her daughters clothes into nightwares.

Closing the magic light in the room she gently embraces her daughter as she closes her eyes.

...

"Princess Ruby, please be careful." The concerned voice of a Maid could be heard as she chases after a small girl running on the garden.

"Hhehe."

The little girl giggles to herself as a light of mischief flows through her silver eyes.

"You can't catch me, you can't catch me."

The little giggles as she increases her speed, the maid hearing the princess words couldn't help but sigh and stops on her track. It seems the time has come for her to use her final card.

"Princess Ruby, you know that the King Atlas Von Solious, your father, has called you. So if you continue to run and not meet him. You will make the king sad you know."

After saying that a smug smile formes on her face as she sees the princess stopping on her track.

"Boo, Big sis Hilda that's cheating you know."

The princess cries out in her cute voice as she makes way toward the maid.

"Well, princess do forgive me but this is the only way for me to make you listen." Hilda say as she gently rubs the sulking princesses head.

"Hump" The princess make a pouting face but doesn't say anything else.

"So then princess do follow me."

Following the maid, both of them leave the garden and enter the hallway of the grand castle, all the guards or maids who see the princess bow their head before continuing their job.

After waling fro a while they arrive at the kings throne room who gate is opened by the royal knights guarding the door.

The maid Hilda gives a deep bow to the throne room and then gestures the Princess to make way inside before leaving the place.

As the princess makes way inside the door behind her closes, as she looks inside she can see rows upon rows of seats stationed their for ministers to sit on and in the middle of it all is a big throne with four smaller thrones spreeded in each of it's side.

In the middle throne a middle aged man sits wearing a royal chothes of red and silver, with a golden crown on his head and a cold face the man sits on his throne. He radiates the aura of a king and a warrior.

Seeing the princess enter the cold look on his face melts as it turns to the face of a loving father.

Sunlight illuminates his red hair as they fall from the giant degined window behind the throne in the sape of the glorious sun.

His red eys looks at his daughter with a loving gaze as he opens his hands.

And right on quie the princess runs and jumps on her fathers lap giving him a tight hug, he also hugs her back as he rubs her head.

"Father"

Ruby says as she looks at his face and plays with his beard, with her small hands.

"How are you my daughter." Atlas asks as he look at his daugheter who is sitting on his lap.

"I am fine father."

Ruby replies as she makes herself comfortable on his lap.

"Good, but I heard my daughter you have been quite miscevious."

"Hehe, sorry about that father."

"It's ok to be a little miscevious but please be careful ok."

"Ok"

"Good."

After that Atlas becomes silent as he plays with his daughter's hair.

"So father whu did you call me?" Ruby asks as she stops playing with his beard.

"You see the son of the Duke Nexus has fallen quite ill." Atlas says as he looks at his daughter.

"Hmm, you mean Neo."

"Yes, Neo."

"He fell ill again, I told him to be careful last time I met. But I guess he didn't keep his promish. So I guess I have to look after him again." Ruby monolouges after hearing her father words and remembering her sick friend.

"So, do you wish to meet him?" Atlas asks.

"Yes, after all I am his friend." Ruby replies in a heart beat.

"Good, then I will prepare a carriage for you and Ruri."

"Mother.. so she is also going." Ruby asks.

"Of course, after all you mother and Neo's mother Alice have been friends for few centuries." Altlas says.

"I would have also gone to meet that boy, but you see I am quite busy with the kingdoms affairs currently." He continues with his words.

"So is their anything you have you should pack it."

"Ok father."

Ruby replies as she stands up form her fathers lap and makes her way outside the throne room.

...

Walking through the corridor of the palace, I make my way toward my mother's room, I wonder what she is doing. I stop on my tracks and look at the knights practicing in the training field through the window.

I always wanted to be a knight, and it has been my dream since the last time I saw my father training with the army commander. Father looked so cool that time.

Though I haven't told it to anyone except Neo, he did say that if I wished to be a knight my mother won't stop me. So he must be right after all, even though he is always ill he is also very smart.

He even taught me a little bit of Elven language, though a little bit only.

Taking my gaze away from the knight I again continue on my way toward mother's room, all the maids and knight I meet give a bow before continuing on the way.

I don't like that though, after all I want to be friends with everybody just like Hilda, but what can I do. After all, mother says that it is my responsibility as a princess that I should garner respect from the people.

Arriving in front of my mother's working quarters, I look at the royal knights guarding the door, seeing me, they make way for me as I knock on the door.

"Mother it's me."

I shout and wait for a reply, which comes very quickly.

"You may enter, My daughter."

The door of the room opens, and I see my mother sitting on her desk doing paperwork, after all she is a queen as well as one of the Ministers of the kingdom with my other three mothers.

"Daughter, can you sit on the sofa for a while as your mother finishes her work." Mother asks me as she gives me a loving smile.

"Yes."

I immediately give a reply as I nod my head, after all, I wouldn't like to trouble my hardworking mother.

"Mom, can I read a book from there."

I saw as I point at the small library in the room, well there is a library in the royal palace, but mother also always keep interesting books in that small library.

"Sure go ahead." Mother says as she continues back on her paper work.

Looking at the books present here, I try to find the most shiny looking, as Neo did say that there is 100% chance of a shiny book being good.

Seeing a book covered by a golden cover with various deign etched into it, I pick it up and walk toward the sofa.

"Daughter, you may not find that book quite interesting."

Mother says as she looks at the book I picked up.

"Why?" I ask my mother as I tilt my head.

"Well because it is just a scholar's records on the co-relation of mana rank and race. It may not suit you, after all, you are just four."

Hearing my mother words I couldn't help but pout, after all the thing she is saying is that I am just a child. Though that may be true but still it reminds me of the time Neo called me that before he stopped teaching me Elven language further.

How dare he even though he is also just as old as me, Hump.

"Well if you wish to read it so badly I won't stop you."

My mother says as she sees my pouting face. Giving her a simple nod I make myself comfortable on the sofa and open the book.
