Chapter 12 - So cool

(A/N first and foremost its been pointed out I have used several Japanese honorifics incorrectly. For that I am extremely sorry I do not mean to offend anyone with bastardizing the language. So that I know for sure can you guys confirm these - Ane - older sister, Otouto - younger brother, -kun used for male friends by other males, -chan used by females or by a dating couple. For this chapter I will do my best and avoid it if I really don't know. Please let me know)

The class made their way back in as the spectating instructors recovered their shock from the amount of sheer monster at 5 years old.

Mizuki was cursing internally as he had planned to teach Naruto the incorrect stances of Taijutsu so that he would damage his body. Mizuki settled for knowing he can still mess up his tests using genjutsu.

Unknown to him, Kai had sensed his malicious intent towards Naruto already and was going to mention it to Iruka as he felt he could trust him from sensing his Chakra throughout the day.

The students returned to class and Iruka began talking about the history of Konoha, however three heads were down and sleeping as they already knew the history from being taught beforehand.

Sasuke seeing that Kai was sleeping in class took out his journal and wrote "Kai sleeps in class, is that so he can be rested for more training after? Must confirm before making a decision'

Iruka noticed the three students who were asleep in class but left them alone just for the afternoon. He swore internally he will teach better so that they pay attention.

When class ended for the day Kai and Naruto walked over to Hinata, Sasuke and Ino. Kai said "Hey guys if you want to train with us stop by after class tomorrow and we will introduce you to big sister Shinko who has trained us and see if she will allow you all to join is in our daily training".

Sasuke smiled at the thought of getting as strong as Itachi, Ino clenched her fist in determination to be strong enough to fight beside Kai one day and Hinata got a nose bleed from picturing training with Naruto. The two boys smiled at their new friends and said goodbye.

As they left Naruto started jumping up and down because big sister Shinko had promised to teach them Ninjutsu but was stopped when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see a viscous smile on Kai's face and felt true fear looking at his best friend.

Kai said "Aren't you forgetting something Naru-chan, I am now 10 wins up in Taijutsu fights you owe me all the dango I can eat before we go home.

(A/N Naru-chan is used to tease Naruto as Shinko calls him that and it drives him mad)

Naruto tried to run away but was tackled to the ground by Kai in an instant before he was dragged along the ground towards the Dango stand. Naruto was crying at the thought of his poor wallet.

After they almost cleared the remaining stock of Dango making for a very happy owner as the day was ending and a satisfied Kai rubbing his belly in pleasure followed by a moping Naruto as he kept turning his wallet upside down hoping money would fall out.

When the two boys reached the apartment they were met by a stern Shinko who said "so you guys kick ass one day at the academy and think you can slack in training? I thought you wanted to learn some Ninjutsu." The boys jaws dropped as they rushed to explain.

Kai said "We would never skip training Nee-chan but today I went up 10 wins in Taijutsu against Naruto and he had to buy me dango."

Naruto sadly nodded his head as he showed her his now empty wallet.

Shinko burst out in laughter at the situation and tried to console a miserable Naruto while giving a wink to Kai.

Shinko said "Okay brats, you ready to learn some Ninjutsu?" Both boys instantly perked up as she took out scrolls for them both.

Shinko first taught them the three Academy Justu, substitution justu, clone jutsu and transformation jutsu. With their great Chakra control from all their training they quickly mastered these jutsu and the signs that accompany them.

Shinko said "I want you guys to keep practicing these three Justsu until you can do them with a single hand sign ok? I will give you both one wind justsu as well but once you have mastered them all to a single hand sign then I will teach you more ok?"

Both boys grinned and instantly got to work. The wind justu they learned was a wind clone. It was a bit more difficult then a regular clone but could be used in combat so it was a superior version.

The boys spent the rest of the afternoon working on the jutsu that Shinko taught them but were unable to get it down to one hand sign although they made great progress. They called it a night and went to bed.

The next day they got up early and performed their usual morning workout before practicing their jutsu. They washed up and recieved a hug and lunch from Shinko. Before they left Kai asked Shinko "Nee-chan, can we bring our friends over after class to train? They want to get stronger too."

Shinko thought about it and decided even if it caused issues with their clans she would at least help them out as they must be important to her little brothers so she nodded her head and rubbed his head affectionately.

Naruto and Kai left together but when Kai saw Ino walking alone he ran up to join her. Naruto merely shook his head as Kai was even more excited than him to make friends. They botg treasured family as before Shinko they never had one, just as Naruto was going to join them he caught something out of the corner of his eye.

He turned his head and saw Hinata being corned by three older boys. He walked over to see if she was ok when he heard one boy say "your eyes are disgusting, no one will ever like you with those eyes" before he pushed her to the ground. Naruto flew into a rage at seeing his kind friend being bullied as he remembered that was him until Kai came into his life.

Naruto sprinted the remaining distance and launched himself at the boy throwing a powerful punch into the side of his face making the boy twist his body and fly into a wall. The other two were stunned when they saw their friend get punched and turned to confront the assailant.

However before they could even move Naruto was in their face he delivered a dropkick to one and used the momentum from the hit to push off the boy and land on his hands before pushing off the ground and hitting the other boy with a spinning high kick sending him flying into his friend who just got up from the hole in the wall sending them both into it.

The boys got to their feet and ran away as fast as they could. Naruto turned to Hinata with a look of concern to see if she was ok.

Kai and Ino had heard the noise and ran over but all they saw were three boys running away. Naruto helped Hinata up and said "I told you your eyes are beautiful don't listen to anything they said." He removed his scarf and put it around her neck and said "Anytime you get scared remember this scarf and that I will always have your back."

Hinata was at a loss for words at Naruto's actions. All she could do was nod her head and cover her blushing face with the scarf.

Naruto smiled at her and turned to see Kai and Ino standing there. Kai walked over and said "everything ok guys?" Naruto laughed it off and said "nothing to worry about, just teaching some bullies what happens when they mess with our friends."

Kai smiled and gave him a fist bump as the four of them left and made their way to the academy together. Kai and Naruto at the front talking and laughing while Ino and Hinata trailed behind them whispering and glancing at the two boys in front of them. The same thought ran threw their minds 'They are so cool'
