Chapter 11 - These kids are monsters

Naruto was up next against Shikamaru. Shikamaru muttered "Troublesome" seeing how comfortable Naruto seemed in Taijustsu and if Kai was anything to go by then he was in trouble.

Before the fight began Shikamaru asked Naruto "Say Naruto, you train with Kai right whats your record in Taijutsu against him?" A sour look came over Naruto's face and a smirk appeared on Kai's "Baka Shikamaru, our record is 271-262 in his favor but don't underestimate me dattebayo" said Naruto.

The crowd was shocked they had seen how good Kai was, if Naruto has won 262 times against him then he must be incredible as well. A frown appeared on Sasuke's face as even though Naruto beat him in Shurikenjutsu he thought Kai was his only competition in the class. Unknown to Sasuke however is a smirk overtook his frown at the thought of fighting both Kai and Naruto.

Seeing his smile the Sasuke fan club all had blood trickle down their noses. Shikamaru frowned and said "What a drag, don't worry Naruto I am not underestimating you I was just curious as you seem very comfortable preparing for our fight."

Naruto smirked at him and after the seal of confrontation took his stance. Shikamaru knew if the fight dragged on he would have no chance so he rushed to Naruto and threw a right hook. Naruto dodged it and threw a kidney punch stunning Shikamaru. Shikamaru quickly recovered and threw a left high kick but Naruto planted his hands on the ground and hit a one hand handstand kick to his face before spinning his body sweeping Shikamaru's feet and finished it with a powerful punch to his stomach winding him while he was on the ground.

Once again silence fell on the class at the display of skill shown by a five year old. The chunin could only shake their heads and curse prodigies in their hearts. The Naruto fan club erupted in cheers and Naruto and Shikamaru performed the seal of confrontation before going back to their spots with the boys.

Kai gave Naruto a fist bump and they smirked at each other. Sasuke was up next against Chouji who was nervously inhaling a bag of chips at the thought of fighting an Uchiha. Shikamaru could merely pat his back in reassurance. They performed the seal of confrontation and attacked each other.

Kai observed that Sasuke was very skilled and similar to him a counter fighter. The fight didn't last long with Sasuke beating Chouji before walking back with an arrogant smirk on his face. The Sasuke fan club cheered him on blushing at his smirk.

The fights continued with the trio dominating their opponents until it was time for the semi finals. First up was Naruto vs Shino and although Shino fought hard close combat was clearly not his forte and lost to Naruto rather quickly.

Finally it was time for Sasuke to fight Kai. Sasuke had an excited smile on his face causing the Sasuke fan club to blush heavily. Kai smirked at him and they performed the seal of confrontation. Sasuke launched himself at Kai with great speed unfortunately it couldn't compete with Naruto's even though be was a power fighter not a speed fighter.

Their years of training with Shinko had made them very well balanced and formidable close combat fighters. Sasuke launched a jumping spear kick towards Kai's face but he moved his head to the side and got inside punching up into Sasukes knee viciously before using his momentum against him and launching a spinning back kick at his torso.

Sasuke was sent flying from the attack and barely got to his feet nursing his damaged knee. Kai then showed him the meaning of speed as he sprinted at Sasuke sending a left straight punch which Sasuke barely dodged but that was all part of his plan as his body continued past Sasuke he planted his front leg in the ground stopping on a dime and delivered a back kick to the side of Sasuke's already damaged knee.

Sasuke dropped to the ground on his knees and looked up in time to be greeted by a spinning front kick to the face and sent him careening into a wall.

Sasuke was utterly destroyed showing Kai had been holding back all this time for a stronger foe. Sasuke's fan club looked away unable to face their hurt idol except for Sakura who rushed over to see if he was ok glaring daggers at Kai as she said "Was that necessary?" Kai merely shrugged and said "He was a deserving opponent so I fought him a bit harder, it is a show of respect from me not bullying.

Sasuke made it to his feet and limped over to Kai and simply bowed his head and said "I would like to train with you guys if that is ok, it's clear your still holding back and so is Naruto, if I want to be like my brother I need to grow stronger."

Kai patted him on the back and laughed saying "You can join us whenever you want, Imouto told me she knew your brother as he was a prodigy that came after her and said I could offer you her help if you wished it."

Sasuke smiled at him eliciting bloody noses from his fan club. They performed the seal of reconciliation and made their way back to the group with Kai's fan club cheering him on.

It was time for the final fight between Naruto and Kai. Everyone stood their in excitement knowing they haven't seen anything yet. They performed the seal of confrontation and Naruto ran at Kai with a speed he has yet to show the class launching punch after punch sending waves of wind around his fist.

The students stood their in awe watching him go as Kai dodged every punch before countering with a 2 quick kidney punches. Kai took advantage of the slowed Naruto and did a back flip connecting his foot with Naruto's jaw as he did so. After he landed he rushed Naruto with even greater speed and sent a flying knee at his face.

Naruto blocked the blow and sent Kai flying with a powered fist in the chest. Kai got to his feet and said with a grin "I knew you held back earlier at the test, why?" Naruto shrugged and said I know how the civilians treat me I didn't want to show them everything I have."

Sakura dropped her head as she was one of those civilians who thought bad of him before seeing his power this morning. She promised herself she would be his friend.

Kai grinned and said "Lets take it up a notch shall we?" Naruto smirked back and both of them deactivated the weight seals Shinko placed on them for training. Although the weight wasn't a lot as their bodies were still developing it was enough to make a difference.

As almost everyone there was a clan heir they recognized they used weighted seals and their jaws dropped. Sakura was confused but Ino explained it to her. Sasuke took out his journal and wrote down 'get Itachi to give me weight seals,

With renewed vigor both boys launched themselves at each other trading blow after blow neither side getting an advantage until Naruto his unpredictable style to feint a right hook which was used for momentum to send a spinning back elbow Kai. Kai barley deflected it but was hit by the following spinning back kick and sent into the wall.

Everyone thought it was finally over and were about to cheer but Naruto kept his defense up. Next thing they Kai flew towards Naruto with a right flying knee that he barely blocked but Kai used the block for momentum as he rotated his body in a 360 and hit a spinning back kick that hit the side of Naruto's face sending him into a wall knocking him out.

The chunin realized they had severly underestimated the damage these kids could cause and sighed at the amount of paper work the repairs would cause.

Both fan clubs erupted in cheers at the incredibe fight between five year olds and Sasuke had a viscous smile at the thought of training with them. The duo helped each other to the ring as both were tired but had smiles on their faces. They performed the seal of reconciliation and walked back to the boys.

Kai said "That makes 272-262 Naru-chan, you know what it means if I have a 10 win lead" Naruto realized what he meant and cried anime tears and he said "I owe you all the dango you can eat after class. My poor wallet."

The crowd sweatdropped at their behavior as Sasuke took out his Journal and wrote 'Both Itachi and Kai are super strong and love Dango. I must eat more of it, my poor tomatoes'

Iruka called them all together and congratulated them all on their skill before he announced the victor of the girls bracket and boys bracket fight next. Ino looked terrified at the idea but Kai walked over and affectionately rubbed her head and said "Don't worry Ino, I wont attack like I did against Naruto, think of this as an oppurtunity to improve in a spar."

Ino blushed at his actions but nodded her head. The performed the seal of confrontation and began to spar with Kai going much slower and pointing out where Ino could improve as they fought.

By the time Ino was panting out of breath she surrendered and Kai walked over with a massive smile on his face and said "you did great Ino, but tell me do you want to get stronger?"

Ino thought for a moment 'Kai is so strong if I get stronger maybe one day I can stand by his side'. She nodded and Kai smiled at her and said "You need to work harder, if you ever want to train you can join me, also you need to eat more, I don't know why you don't. Your a future Kunoichi your going to burn lots of calories everyday, that might sound scary but you need enough fuel to stay strong so you need to eat a lot more ok?"

Ino blushed as she thought nobody would like her if she wasn't skinny but Kai didn't seem to care about that and wanted her to get stronger. She nodded her head again and together they went back with Ino throwing glances at the boy walking next to her as the only thought in her head is 'He is so cool'
